Questions

I have two mp4 videos taken at the same time. One is 13 minutes long and 732MB. The other is 39 seconds long and 2 GB in Elements Organiser but 193GB in Windows 10 explorer. I originally opened both in Adobe Elements Premier 10 but did not really manage to do anything through lack of understanding of Premier. Both files show similar frame sizes, data rates etc so I cannot see what is wrong with the 193GB file. It opens and plays in Premier, with occasional short play interruptions. There is no sign of anything after the video. It took over a day to copy or move this file in Windows. Any ideas about what is wrong and how to return it to its original size?

HelloI am trying to create a page of credits at the end of a movie clip using Text | Default scrolling that, at the moment, looks like this:I don't expect Premiere Elements to be like MS Word when it comes to text, but it seems a tedious process.On the TimeLine itself, I see this:How am I able, please, to add further credits under Ave Maria at the bottom, because I can't see any scrollbars that will 'push up' these existing credits to allow me to add more under Ave Maria? When I have tried to use the Selection Tool arrow to do so, it just corrupts the text that I am posting here (it all gets jumbled up).I am using Premiere Elements 11 on Windows 10.Many thanks.Steve

My windows computer has crashed so I no longer have the Pinnacle Studio program.  However I have many completed movies from Pinnacle.  I'm moving to Mac and Premiere Elements.  is there any way to convert the VOB files into Premiere Elements?

I have a Mac computer and Premier Elements 13.On the welcome page you can open existing projects. I have deleted the files for one of these projects but I cannot get rid of the title of the project which keeps appearing in the list of projects . ANY THOUGHTS??PAUL

My video isn't visible after I upload the file to Premiere Elements 11.  It doesn't seem to be a codec problem as I checked G-Spot and it says correct audio and video codecs are installed.  The avi files play fine on G-Spot and the Movies & TV applications.  I recently got the new laptop and the problem may be related to something on it as my old Windows 7 laptop didn't have this problem.Would you please help me?System info:Windows 10 Home OS.avi file typePremiere Elements v 11.0

Within the past year (early 2016), I bought a new Dell Inspiron 5559, Core i5-6300u, 2.3 GHz, 4 CPUs, 12 GB RAM, Windows 10 Home 64-bit, 1920x1080 res. laptop.  Is my computer compatible with Adobe Premiere Elements 15?  I understand that everyone recommends an i7, but I don't want to buy a new computer.  If my computer is not compatible with this software, can anyone recommend video editing software for less than $150 that would be compatible with my computer?  Or, will an older version of Adobe Premiere Elements be compatible with my computer?  Thank you in advance for your help.

Is GoPro Hero 5 supported by Premier Elements 15 ? I'm able to get my GoPro clips into Premier Organizer, but when I try to download from my GoPro directly into Elements, I get a "not supported device" error message.

Is there a method in PE 14.1 to be able to superscript text e.g. within Default Text?Such as for the 2nd January where the "nd" would be raised up.Back in 2011 there was a similar question asked but the response was that for PE 4 it was not possible (at least pasting in from MS-Word did not work).Maybe things have moved on with PE 14.1 or later?A search of the PE 14 Reference Manual produced no hits.

Holding down the control key while exiting most programs will save the current window size and will open to that size when you execute the program next.  Premiere Elements won't do this, am I missing something?  It needs to be fixed.Thanks

ADOBE PSE & PREMIERE ELEMENTS 13—ACTIVATE & DEACTIVATEQ—        My new ASUS computer, Win 10 OS, 4 hard drives, very fast, tons of storage, had to go through a “clean install” of Win 10 (corrupted).  I am now having to reinstall all apps, including  Adobe PSE 13 and Adobe PE 13.  With both apps reinstalled, I followed Adobe instructions to launch PE 13 and go to Help, Activate or Deactivate.  That option is not available.  Since these two apps are already activated on our two computers, I realized that Adobe was not recognizing my desktop computer that had crashed.  (See Screen Print #1)    I went online to my Adobe account and navigated to a help page to deactivate one of the two licenses, but a message appeared;“Have you lost access to your previous computer? How can I open a project in premier 14 with a .prv extension in the saved projects?

Hi,I have a clip that I want to speed up (400%) and which is quite shaky - that means I also want to use shake reduction.But if I want to use both it says "Shake Reduction and Speed can't be used on the same clip".Is there any workaround? I couldn't find anything about that in the internet 😕😕I just started to use Premiere Elements 15 (trial version), I used iMovie before and I didn't have this problem in this very amateurish program.This is essential for me, because I need that feature quite often and I would like to buy PE15, but it doesn't make sense for me without this feature 😞Thanks for your help!

Very suddenly the animated titles will not load onto my PC...right in the middle of a project!!  Is there a trick to get it unfrozen?  Could Geek Squad help with a problem like this. 

I am struggling with file size. I have an old video that is 62mb and 4:15 long. After loading it up in PE15, I cut out about a minute. When I go to export it, even clicking the "Match Source" button, the file size balloons to 121mb and the bitrate has tripled to 6Mbps. Isn't the "Match Source" supposed to match the source?How can I get it down to a reasonable size?

Dear all,I recently had to change to a new computer and am facing problems I didn't have before though this laptop has a faster CPU than the one before (i5-6200U/2.30 Ghz). Simple video files are being played sometimes slow and bumpy. After rendering everything is fine, but I only need to do a tiny change in the clip (a cut, changing the opacity, changing the lenght, etc.), and again the problem is back. I didn't find any setting yet that could change it. PE13 is running here on Windows 10.I will be grateful for all suggestions!Thanks & Regards

How do I select a particular clip for my movie to start with? It currently starts on one of the clips in the middle of my movie.

I have been working with home videos that I converted to Mp4 without issue, merging clips. Tonight my project wouldn't render. I did change the project name through "Save As" a few times, so did I run into a glitch or did I inadvertently change a setting. My previous projects have allowed mpeg and mp4 on the same project, the media I have added this time is all mp4. The selected file cannot  be linked because its type (video) does not match the original file's type (audio and video). Both video and audio show up but they are red to indicate the files cannot be found. If I try to import a new mp4 through add media it is only bringing in the video.I have kept the files that I am working on linked. Although I am familiar with unlinking frames.Thanks for you help!

I have been trying to download this program since 11am today.  It says it is 63% of the way done and the minutes left just keep increasing.  It now show 158 minutes left to download.  Does anyone know why this could be? Is this normal?Any information will be greatly appreciated.Thank you,Lindsay

I am lookin at Premiere Elements 15 and need to know if it will do what I need to do.  I have clips of battery operated dogs.  The eyes and tail light up when it is in motion, but not when it is still.  I want to have 2 of the dogs standing still in the background but with the glow in the eyes and tail.My question is, can I add a layer and put the glow int the eyes and tail and have the glow show up throughout the clip?

For the first time, a clip I imported into my project has my granddaughter's singing out of synch with the video.  I played the video on the Mac from the original folder and its fine. so the problem seems to be following the import.  All the other clips I have imported into the same project are fine.Can anyone explain this or suggest a solution.
