MacBookPro CRASH - MacOS Ventura updated WITH Adobe Premiere 23.0

I have a Macbook PRO 2019

Since i updated its macOS VENTURA i am having big crash problems since 4 weeks ago.
Every time I work on my video projects with Adobe Premiere 2023, after several minutes while I'm working.
Only happens since I updated to macOS Ventura last version and only with AdobePremiere program.

After several minutes working on my project, laptop gets totally froozen not letting me do anything and after 1minute aprox. you can hear the fan and laptop crashes completely.

Is this happening to anyone else with similar laptop-programme version?

My Macbook Pro 2019 running Ventura 13.2.1 keeps crashing when tryingi to export a simple 1 hour video in Premiere Pro 23.2, to 1080p, using H.264 with hardware encoding turned off (or on).  Any chance of this getting fixed any time soon?  Should I switch to Final Cut Pro?   Trying to turn back my MacOS version seems like a bad solution to me.  Any other solutions?

thanks,

Chris

To me it's happening especially when dragging clips around. Can't tell you
how convenient it is editing without dragging...!

Same with me. Making it infuriating to try to edit. Anyone found a solution? I've noticed it is happening for me specially when dealing with captions.

Same here, and it's showing up on both Premiere and After Effects on a MBP with OS Ventura and the latest Premiere and AE versions. My collegues, who hasn't updated to Ventura yet, don't experience this issue - so I think it's related to the OS more than to Adobe. Hope this will be addressed shortly because it's getting harder and harder working this way.

Tomas,

You may want to check Adobe Folder Permissions. Going back to OS X 10.9, this has been necessary to check. Set every folder Premiere Pro touches to R/W (In the Get Info dialog box via CMD + I) and use the drop-down menu to do that to all enclosed folders. Avoid updating major projects if you can. Try and get those done before committing to an OS update. Let me know if you need help.

Thanks,
Kevin

Yes, It also happens with a brand new project.

Tried to work with an old project (that is 1 year old with around 10Tb footage conected to it, also to a project of 1 month life and with a new project created from 0 and crashes in the 3 different situations

Same to me. I think its not a problem from Adobe Premier PRO last version is more about MacOS VENTURA last update that creates a problem between laptop and the App. Just tried to work with last version of Premier in a Macbook PRO with a older version of MacOS (just the one before Ventura) and dind't give any problem.

Lets si if there's any new update for MacOS soon

Yep. Same here mostly when rendering a timeline and sometimes when exporting in Media Encoder.
