Trimming to the right NOT working when there's a gap/nothing to the right of the clip

So, this has been posted by someone else already to which tread I replied confirming the same thing.
I just updated Premiere to version 23.2 and this has not yet been corrected.

When you try to trim a clip/multiple clips and there's just a gap to the right side of those clips, you cannot trim it to the right more than one click/shortcut has it immediatly drops out of trim mode and you have to click on the cut again. It's fine if you trim by dragging the cut with the mouse and everything works to the left of the clips. But to the right, when trim through a gap, this happens everytime.

This issue makes editing slower and should be addressed A.S.A.P.
