I keep getting single gray line artifacts on top of my UV decals. See attached. Any way to resolve?

Hi,Two days ago I was rendering by GPU (NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX2060 super) and was working perfect.Suddenly yesterday started to face problems with the GPU, I don´t know why, but now GPU option is not available even. Driver version is STUDIO 471.41 (19/07/2021)...It could be previous driver was better?I´ve tried to reinstall starger again, but looks like is not compatible with it nowAny suggestion? Thanks in advance,Jorge

Hi, I create game assets for Second Life.  My current workflow is Substance Painter, using the baked light filter to render my textures with some lighting and highlights on the diffuse (2d window export for diffuse).  I have been wishing for something like Stager for a while because it can be difficult to get the baked light filters "just so" to achieve the results I am looking for.  Because SL is not a proper PBR environment it is necessary to fake bake the textures a bit to be sure that everyone is seeing the item the same way, whether they have a high end graphics card or are on a craptop with a low end card.  So my burning question is this: can I bring fully textured models out of painter, into Stager and create all the exported texture files with the lighting I want in there?  And, if not, could you please please please consider making that possible?  It would be a MAJOR boon to those of us creating for SL. 

Hi all,My work flow depends on modeling at luxury modo,then import the object file--(.obj)-- to Adobe Dimension. Though, the following question is about Adobe Sustance 3D Stager as well.When I import the object to Adobe Dimension or Adobe Substance 3D Stager, it is imported perfectly. However when I apply a texture to the model I find it got distorted in the way I attach here.  Could you please check the attached images and advise me on how I can fix this problem? I attached 4 images: 1- A screenshot of the model in Modo. 2-The UV guide test texture. 3- Screenshot of applying the texture in AD. 4-Screenshot of in AS3DS. 

I'm trying to apply an image to this simple plane which I've added a brushed metal material to. But the option under Import > Place Image on Model is greyed out.Adobe: Instead of simply greying out functions and leaving users guessing as to why it's greyed out, why not save everyone the trouble and put a ? next to the greyed out item giving a reason why it's greyed out, and what to do about it?This is the first time I'm using Stager, and if it's this hard to do a simple thing like add an image, I'm never going to subscribe or buy it. I'd rather use Blender.  

I know this isnt necessarily the programs point but are there any future plans to include video exports as well as animated camera movement or even animated positioning of objects (bobing objects or even spinning, simple movement)?

In the stream today it was mentioned that the new Substance tools (Stager, Painter, Sampler, etc) would be included for users with an EDU "all applications" license. However, in the Creative Cloud app I'm only seeing an option to start a free trial. Any direction to sort this out would be appreciated.

Is it possible to use any kind of distributed rendering (two or more machines in order to boost the rendering time) or any other possibility?Thanks!

Can Substance 3D Stager be used while in VR? If not, can it at the very least be switched to "VR mode" after the scene has be completed in the normal desktop mode?

Hi Guys With lockdowns and working from home becoming the normal, studios and artists are moving their workstations to the cloud and connect from any low key laptop or computer. I routinley work like this, especially that as an indie artist it wouldn't make sense to invest in tens of thousands to purchase several RTX cards machine and instead I utilise the cloud to pay for what I use only when I am using it. The options on the cloud are much better of course.To that extent I use AWS Accelerted Computing instances, these are Xeon workstations with 1, 4 or 8 Tesla Cardds that I can spin up and use as fluidly as using my own workstation. Netflix animation team uses same solution on AWS.The problem I am having is that I tried to install Substnace 3D on one of those workstations, but creative cloud wouldn't allow me because somehow the condition to install is looking for windows 10 specific version or more. Well Windows 2019 Server is windows 10 for Enterprise. So would it be possible

Hi all. I can't seem to find any info on what types of files can be imported into Sg.  Is there a list of compaible file types anywhere? can I only import assets built in Ds? Thanks!

I've used the new stager for about 8 hours now, and have some feedback (Build 1.0.0-20210616.r.5070-67fda79, Windows 10 21H1 x64, Razer Blade 15 laptop with NVIDIA RTX 3070, 16GB RAM, Samsung SSD 970 EVO Plus 1TB storage). - First, the Help->Give Feedback... option isn't working. It goes to a page with a 404 error.- If I start a render then alt-tab to another application, I can go back and see the render status right up until it is nearly done. However, if the render finishes while I'm in another application, it says 'Render status: estimating...' for a LONG time before finally coming back. The rest of the UI is responsive, and the render is actually done and saved, but I have to click Cancel All or wait >10 minutes for it to figure it it.- Stager is a major memory hog. I added 16 cubes each with a material on them, mostly variations, but it uses 100% of my 16GB already. Seems like memory management could be better implemented in Stager for improved performance? Hello,   Is there some tutorial to explain how Collision Work? Do we have to ungroup objects? is it possible to also add "gravity" to the physical engine? I'm trying to make a "Chain" and even if I can move some "link" manually and get some constraints but to lay "natural" I guess a little gravity will give more realism.

I just carried out tests with a Quadro RTX 4000 in egpu but I find that the quality of the denoising is not up to par. While rendering in cpu denoising works well.

When I apply a material to an object from the Adobe Library or draw a primitive in Substance Stager and apply a material it applies with the correct scale. However, when I apply the same texture to an obj or fbx model that I have created and imported, the material seems to shrink and pattern. I can't work out how to scale this to fit properly. I have done nothing but dragged and dropped the same material onto the different objects. Thanks,Gavin

Hi, It looks that like Dn Stager is not able to export directly to USDZ. I'm trying to do it with Aero using the exported GLB but Aero quits alone with a bug report windows (on PC)the textures looks exported quite well but the USDZ file is just created but empty. Is that issue known?the only way to export USDZ is going though Aero on iPad

Hi all!I guess the software is at it's first initial steps but I am wondering if is already possible to import our Substance Source materials in a library form so we can have the sphere preview of them + each time we add new items the library is automatically updated, same thing as we have already in Adobe Substance 3D Painter. Thanks, Dionysios -

Hi Jeanette and team,Can someone clarify the distinction between the regular subscription for an individual and the enterprise version of Substance 3D Stager which includes the additional new CAD import formats? They are listed here: https://substance3d.adobe.com/documentation/sg/import-export-formats-213060294.htmlI just added the new Substance line items to my individual Creative Cloud account and it definitely does not support those import formats and I'm not really clear on where/what I would need to do to enable the Enterprise variation to gain access.Thanks for any insight you can share!Rob
