When I create a document in Googles Doc and download as a PDF....I then select booklet for printing and the print size is so small you cannot read it.....I can't make the font size any larger or it won't fit on page.  I am using Calibri 14...I started with Calibri 11 and thought changing the font size would help....but it doesn't seem to matter....it gets a bit larger but not enough to be legible.

I have a page that scrolls when I preview it.  But, when I use View Primary Layout, there is no scrollbar.  Is this a known problem?

Upgraded from RH8 to RH11 (WebHelp), now search function brings no results, 'Error: Failed to initialize database' appears.Referring to the solution to a similar issue with RH2015 provided by Ankit (26Aug15), my generated output has no "topictable_12_xml.js" file nder whxdata.By stephenb21841505

RoboHelp 11  Generating a Multiscreen HTML5 ,  When I generate my set of job aids I am getting a Stack Overflow at line 1 error when I click on any topic in the TOC.  I am working and generating locally.  I  read the other discussions about stack overflow errors but it looked as if the problems were with working on a shared drive.  MY project is not very large about 100+ pages.  Any help would be appreciated, thanks

How can I create page numbers for my printed documents in a Master Page setup ? I am using RoboHelp 11 .

I generated the Responsive HTML5 output and tested in on the iPhone and iPad and the topics look great. Is there supposed to be a TOC on smaller devices? Clicking any .htm file in my output folder displays the TOC on my laptop. The same isn't true for the smaller screens, just the topic displays. Can I create a link to the TOC for each topic? Thanks.

I'm pretty much a novice with RH, but have muddled through just about everything except the printed docs.  I did create a PDF in a previous version of RH (7,8,9)...not sure.  I have Word 2013 and have updated RH, but, here's what I get.  When I select printed Documentation, I occasionally get a 'Parameter Incorrect' error, but clicking OK, goes right around it.  In the first window, I get this:Empty TOC etc.  I click NextNow, this looks to me like I should be ready to go....but I click NextAnd here is where everything goes downhill:Now, when I originally created this entire piece, I selected the Microsoft HTML Help (CHM) function, however, when I did this in previous versions, it worked fine.  I am assuming since the 'section layout' is basically empty, there is nothing moving there?  Do I have to create this entire thing by hand?I've been looking in the forums, and the Help PDF, but cannot find an answer.  My best guess here is that something is

In a review of RoboHelp 2015, Willam van Weelden said "...scripts have access to the currently opened document. Scripts can modify text selection in topics and copy and paste selected content."I have tried to work out how to do this, but the RoboHelp object model seems to be very badly documented. Furthermore, the ExtendScript toolkit editor seems incapable of opening the full object tree in its Data Browser pane; it just locks solid for ages and then gives up. The ExtendScript Object Model Viewer is similarly useless, giving no useful information about data types etc.Can anyone give me some clues to the objects I need to access the content of the currently opened document? 

Hello,if I import Word-Files, which contain cropped Images, the Images appear in Robohelp without the cropping.How can I import these Images properly without modification?Simple direct copying works but this involves a great effort.Thank you in advance.Jürgen

I would like to print a full list of my topics, but I can't figure out how. I can't even copy and paste to a Word doc. Any suggestions?

We are using Rh v9 since long time and we now want to upgrade to Rh v2015. Which is the best option availble for us. We are not looking for Rh v11.

I would like to customize the phone layout in the multi-screen HTML5 output. Rather than launching a home page with options for index, glossary, and toc, I'd like the home page to be the TOC. There will be no index or glossary, as this is for a very small app. I just want to provide some quick help on a few screens.I saw the post regarding removing these elements from responsive html5, but I just want to remove them from the phone layout. I don't need all the multi-screens.Does anyone know how to do this?If not, do you have an alternative that will achieve the same goals?Thanks so much!  --Amy

I inherited a RoboHelp project and realized instead of publishing the compiled project, they were simply copying any changed files to the server.  I began publishing the project and our software program began throwing an error related to the whtopic.js file.Error: The value of the property 'onSetStartPage' is null or undefined, not a function objectURL points to the whtopic.js file contained in Web HelpThe coder added the bold line to the code, which seemed to solve the problem.  gsPPath=_getFullPath(_getPath(document.location.href),_getPath(sPath)); if (typeof (onSetStartPage) != "undefined")            onSetStartPage();My first question, of course, would be, what causes the error and how did the code update fix it.  I also wanted to mention after reviewing WebHelp on the server, I noticed there are multiple instances of the whtopic.js file, as well as another instance of the WebHelp project nested in the original.&nbsp

My company upgraded to RH11 (from RH9). Since the upgrade, when we generate webhelp, the search feature does not work. We run IE11 and WIN7. Any suggestions on how to fix this issue?

In RoboHelp 11, information types only work in Microsoft HTML output. In more recent versions of RoboHelp, do information types function in other types of output in addition to Microsoft HTML? I really don't want to use that output type.Thanks!Tim

Is there any other way to collaborate with SMEs for RoboHelp besides Adobe AIR. It seems to keep getting confused with the Captivate Reviewer, and says it's already downloaded, but every time I check I only have Captivate Reviewer.

The main menu with File and View tabs is missing and I cannot open pages or pods.  I have uninstalled and reinstalled twice and restarting after each.  I noticed my main menu was missing and I closed my toolbars and now I can't access anything.  is there additional files I need to look for to uninstall manually so I get a clean install?  When I open a project

I have created a help system in RoboHelp and then output from RoboHelp in the Oracle Help for Java format. On using Oracle Help for Java to view html files under MS Windows in the default ICEBrowser, the fonts look ragged compared to viewing the same html files in Firefox or IE. It appears that anti-aliasing is not being used. I am generating output for Oracle Help. When the language is set to English (UK) in the output wizard, the generation of the Full-Text-Search fails. The search tab is present in the output but there are no search hits. The output pod contains an error message "Invalid ISO 3166 country code". It turns out that RoboHelp tries to use a country code for the United Kingdom of "UK" where according to ISO 3166 it is "GB", hence the failure. This error occurs for no other country in the language settings, for example FI_FI works fine. I tried replacing UK with GB everywhere I could find in the installation of RoboHelp but it does not help. Setting the language of topics to "English (UK)" causes no problems, but to create output I have to overwrite it with "English US" in the output wizard.RoboHelp HTML 11.0.1.235 on Windows 7Oracle Help for Java version 4.2 supplied in "ohj-12.1.3.0.0". Is this a known bug? I cannot find any mention of it.

I created an output on my laptop (15 in monitor), and on that screen it looks as intended, with the TOC displaying on the left and the search bar on the top right. I expect, since it is responsive, that on a smaller screen, the TOC and search will shift according to the size of the screen.  But when I look at it on a larger desktop monitor, the TOC is permanently minimized and the search icon is on the left.  It looks as it would if I were viewing on a tablet.  Is there a way to fix this?  On a desktop monitor, I need the TOC to display and the search box to remain at the top of the screen. Hi All Trying to download Adobe RoboHelp 2015, i believe the firewall on our corporate network are blocking the download. Each time we try to download the package it just comes back with 'waiting'. we had a similar issues with updating Adobe Flash player, getting initialization error. I wanted to know if there is any Msi files for Adobe Robo Help the trial version, so we can install the package for our external client.Any help is appreciated

Have been provided with a new PC to replace the old one running win 7 Pro. This new one is running Win 8.1 Pro.Having installed RH10 and all the patches, and copied my project files across to the new PC, attempting to use the RH ScreenCapture program is a major problem. When I select Capture - Region ( most frequently used capture type) ScreenCapture is minimised (as expected), and after 500 milliseconds (default lag) the image of the screen to be captured is increased in size to about 150%. Now, I don't want to capture images that are 150% bigger than actual; capturing these images and then resizing is also not an option as the image quality becomes degraded too much.Adobe support have observed this problem on my system. They have had me try to disconnect the extended monitor - no change, they have played around with graphics properties, all to no avail. The only success was by changing the main screen resolution to its lowest setting (1024 x 768), which is not really a viable option.
