Whenever I type a character (whether in Edit PDF or comment), I get a popup error saying "No dictionaries were found. your installation might be corrupted." When I close the popup, the rest of the session runs fine, and I don't get the error message until the next time I start a session and try to type something. I have run the repair tool from the installation software, and it didn't fix this error.Any idea how to fix this?

Buenas tardes:Hemos creado un formulario para ingresar información crediticia de nuestros clientes, necesitamos protegerlo para que no pueda ser editada la estructura por aquellos usuarios que dispongan Adobe Reader Pro pero que si pueda ser editado y firmado con un certificado digital.Para este propósito, hemos configurado en la opción Proteger PDF una contraseña y definido los diferentes parámetros de seguridad que dispone la opción. Sin embargo, ninguna de ellas permite activar las dos necesidades que requerimos: bloquear con contraseña la edición de la estructura del formulario y permitir la edición del documento y firmar digitalmente. Solo se consigue una de ellas, bien se bloquea el acceso a la edición de la estructura del formulario, se puede editar e ingresar la información solicitada en el formulario pero no firmar con un certificado digital y viceversa.Agradezco su asesoría para poder lograr este objetivo.Saludos cordiales.

I very frequently need to do this routine: choose Organize Pages, select all odd pages, rotate 90º CW, select all even pages, rotate CCW. I'd like to create a Custom Tool to do this but don't see how to select odd/even pages. Any advice?

This blue box pops up every time I open a document, and the need to X out of it every time is intrusive to my workflow, it has no relevance to me whatsoever. Please tell me there is a way to disable this notification? Thank you.

I am writing to request an enhancement in Adobe Acrobat that would greatly improve the user experience for many of us. Currently, when editing text in PDF documents, Adobe Acrobat defaults to Minion Pro 12 pt. Despite changing the font preferences to Arial 14 pt, the software does not retain this setting for future sessions, and I have to manually change the font every time I edit text in a new document.This repetitive task is time-consuming and can be quite frustrating. It would be extremely beneficial if Adobe Acrobat could allow users to set a default font and size for text editing that persists across all documents and sessions. This feature would streamline the editing process and enhance productivity.I appreciate your consideration of this request and hope to see this improvement in a future update. Thank you for your continued efforts in developing and maintaining such a powerful tool.

When trying to combine six pdfs, I got the error messages "could not organize", "pdf that could not be combined, password protected." Four of the six pages worked fine. What do I do?

I have a number of MP3s in an interactive PDF which I have set the following Lauch Setting property for: Disable when: 'Disable Content' is selected from the context menu. However, whether the MP3 is set to play on the page or a floating window, it stops playing when I leave the page. This happens on both a Mac running Big Sur and a Windows 10 machine.The PDF was put together in Indesign (the latest version that will run on Big Sur - possibly 2023? Sorry, I don't have my Mac with me atm). I've uploaded an example file. The MP3s can be played from the various boxes on the second and third pages. The main box triggers the MP3 to play on the page, whilst the icon with an arrow will play the same file in a floating window. This seems like a bug rather than user error, though I'm not sure if it's due to Acrobat or from Indesign. It worked fine for me a few months back. Thanks for any help that might be suggested!

In new Acrobat X Pro, when I open this program a window appears listing "recent" files that I have previously opened.I cannot clear this "recent" listing. I have deleted some of those files, and do not want them to appear in this window anymore.I cannot find any option to clear this damn listing. Only option I found was to reduce this listing from the default 5 to 1. Zero is unavailable.The crude way I found was to delete this registry listing:HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Adobe\Adobe Acrobat\10.0\AVGeneral\cRecentFilesI cannot believe that Adobe will design and release a brand new version with such poor design.If you do know how, maybe I am blind and cannot find this elusive option, please post it here so we all can learn.But if I am really correct and there is no option, Adobe MUST fix this oversight ASAP.Thank you for helping.

Hello, we recently updated the Adobe Reader solution in our Citrix virtual desktop environment (Windows Server 2016), but since then, whenever our users or even directly on the server try to use the Fill and Sign function, the following error message appears:I have already tried uninstalling and reinstalling the solution, changing languages, etc., but without success.The solution is installed on a different partition than C:Thanks for your help. 

In Adobe Acrobat Pro I am trying to add fields depending on different column. I have no idea where to start. I already tried to use the Sum fuction of Adobe but here I can only select fields. Can someone please help me here? Maybe JavaScript or another solution?Tha Table below shows what i am trying to achieve.Col1 Col2 20A30B40C50A60BCol1 ist contains number fields Col2 contains only one Char e.g. A, B or C.I am trying to add all values Col1 where value of col2 is for example A. Thanks

Hey ☺️I'm desparately trying to figure out how to insert an "Invisible Rectangle" using Acrobat Pro (subscription).  All searches suggest I should find a "more" option under the "add content" menu.  I don't.  I only have "text" and "image".  I did manage to find an "add link" option when I highlight text,  however this only allows me to convert text to a hyper link (either to a webpage or to a page within the file), and does not offer the "invisible Rectangle" option.  I wouldn't mind using the hyperlink option, except that it is not compatible with the foreign language text I am trying to link and turns it into gibberish once I convert the text to a hyper link.   Please help?

Good afternoon everyone, I'm looking for the best/most straightforward (cheapest?) way to populate a dynamic pdf form (made with pro DC) using Power Automate. So I have a form with fields like:and want to fill the fields using power automate.What has everyones experience been with this? Any tips/tricks? , I'm looking at the Adobe PDF Services | PDF Tools APIs | Adobe Acrobat Services - Adobe Developers but I dont see populating/filling dynamic pdfs on the list so I'm hesistant to look further. Thanks for informing!

I just updated to OS Catalina and the latest version of Acrobat Pro DC and InDesign. I was previously using Sierra. I've never had crash issues in Acrobat Pro DC until this update, but it seems I only have this crash problem while working in PDFs exported from an InDesign 15.0.2 doc provided to me from another designer. The crashes are specific, too. They only happen while working in the ORDER tab for Accessibility. I try moving items up or down in the list and it crashes Acrobat. I can open other PDF files and reorder items with no crashing. Acrobat has always been finicky when it comes to making PDFs read in a particular order for Accessibility, but I've not had crashes before now. Any ideas of how to remedy this?

I need a security comparison of the following: Scenario 1 - Using Adobe Reader I add a signature to a document.  The document does not have any fields and is not an electronic form. Scenario 2 - Someone sends me an electronic form created using Adobe Pro. I click the signature field and sign it. Does the signature in scenario one have the same digital information as the signature in scenario two?  What are the advantages of scenario 2 type signature over someone just adding their signature using Reader? And finally, if someone adds their signature to a pdf document using Reader, does the file automatically lock down so that it can't be altered like it does with an elctronic form? Background:We have many documents that only require a signature and a date.  We need to know what the drawbacks are of not creating an electronic form with a digital signature field and just letting the recipient use Adobe reader to sign. 

I was given an  online Acrobat Pro license from my employer (See attached photo).  Using the email sent from Adobe, I downloaded the Acrobat Pro 64 bit software and sucesfully installed it.  I launch the program, sign into my work Microsoft Profile but when the Adobe screen opens I get propmted to buy the software or start a free trial.  There is not option to validate the bulk license or to close the pop-up without closing the entire program. How do I fix this? 

Hi,I can no longer see the option to add a password to pdf before sending for signature with Adobe Sign. You normally add this when setting up the PDF for signature - that option has gone. This is not the same as password-protecting a PDF - it's something that is done as part of the process of sending it for signature.It is usually under the Options section when preparing the PDF for signature, but there is no longer an Options section. This functionality was there 2 months ago.Could you please advise?

I am having an issue in an enterprise environment where the account that applied MIP labels is no longer around and now people are unable to open the files the labels are applied to. The label requires security group membership which does still exist, it is just the document owner account that was deleted.  Is there a way to bypass or fix this issue since the label controls are based on the security group membership or are these files going to be locked forever since the labelling account is gone? 

As you can see, the black lines are after redacting and accepting changes.  We tried doing it again on the original file, but we encounter the same issue.

I have an editable PDF. I copy the text but there is nothing to let me paste it. No button, nothing on right click. Nothing.

Over the last month or so nearly all PDF's open with the menu bar above the top of the screen so menus are inaccessible and the window can not be moved without resorting to keyboard. Very frustrating.

Hi, I’m working with a pdf form, the first page is an input page with fields for various info like Employee Name, Title,  Telephone Number, and Cell Phone Number. The second page is a business card with the information entered from the first page. On the second page, I have a text field named Employee Block which combines the employee name, title, telephone number, FAX number, cell phone number and email address. The telephone and FAX number fields are drop-downs with numbers to choose from, (in this format: (xxx) xxx-xxxx), the cell phone number field is completed by the user. The Format properties of the CellPhone field is set to Special under the Select formatting category and Phone Number is chosen for Special Options so when the user types in the number in the CellPhone field it is formatted as (xxx) xxx-xxxx. However, the cell phone number shows as 10 numbers all together, no () and no – in the Employee Block field. I need assistance in the coding that wo

We're experiencing significant issues with the Adobe E-sign feature.We've used it without any problems for over four years, but over the past year, the issues have escalated from being merely annoying to rendering the feature unusable.Initially, we encountered problems with the application, but we managed to complete drafts and send them for signatures using the online version.Now, even the online function has become unusable. Whenever we try to access the "Request e-signature" tool, it simply doesn't respond.We've taken several steps to resolve this:- Reinstalled Adobe Acrobat Pro- Cleared the cache for the online portal- Verified that the client license is active- Tried multiple devices on both our network and on 4G/5GDespite these efforts, the issue persists across all platforms.I've seen numerous discussions suggesting reliance on the online portal, but should a product this expensive be so unreliable?

Hi All, I've got a user who has received a new laptop and has reinstalled Acrobat DC Pro v2025.001.20577 but the patterns for redacting are missing. Any ideas as to how to resolve this issue please? Thanks.
