Questions

I am creating a form and am having issues with multiple YES/NO questions on the same line, removing the previous YES/NO already selected.  I know nothing about  JAVA scripts(and have seen a few suggestions on what may help but idk) i am a beginner to this, nothing complicated, and unfortunately need this fixed today, or I have to move on to using something else.  Below is an example of where it messes up. In the 1st, and 5th rows if I select yes on Have Photo ID, AND THEN GO OVER to Have DD-215 and click NO, when I get to Recv'd resume, whatever option i chose will REMOVE the previous YES or NO checked on either one of the boxes.  It appears to not allow the same value selection within the same row.   But on lines 3 & 4 I am able to select as many options as I want or none (which is how I want it).  I am not even concerned with a YES and NO selection both being able to be checked, although the other fields which are fine on other pages do hav

I have a multipage PDF document of which one page only needs to be a fillable form. How do I make only that one page, and not the entire document, fillable?

Hi! I need help creating a form in adobe Pro Dc. I want to creat a Dropdown List and when the final user select one option in other field will show up a text not editable. For example: If you choose a Country in other field automatically appear the zip code of the country that you chosen. I´ll appreciate your help! Hello, I have this issue for print using Adobe PDF from Adobe Acrobat Pro. Usually I use this function and it will lead me to "Save As" the document and final product of file .pdf.However, I encounter the issue where the Adobe PDF print was saving the file as .ps (postscript) instead of .pdf. I have to run Adobe Distiller for so many times and it's not convenience for me. Could anybody please help? I read some article in adobe help that stated "In many authoring applications, you can use the Print command with the Adobe PDF printer to convert your file to PDF. Your source document is converted to PostScript and fed directly to Distiller for conversion to PDF, without manually starting Distiller. The current Distiller preference settings and Adobe PDF settings are used to convert the file." Really appreciated if I could go back to initial condition when print as pdf will give me .pdf file instead of .ps. Thank you !

Hi all, today I noticed that there is presumably a bug with the Chrome Extension of Adobe Acrobat when having the Chrome Developer Tools open.When you open the Developer Tools (F12) and open any page on the internet the network traffic shows a call to chrome-extension://efaidnbmnnnibpcajpcglclefindmkaj/data/js/extn-utils.html. This is triggered by the element<iframe id="adbe-cookies-checker" src="chrome-extension://efaidnbmnnnibpcajpcglclefindmkaj/data/js/extn-utils.html" style="display: none;"></iframe>that the extension embeds on every page. It becomes fairly easy to see if you enable "Group network log by frame" in the settings as the call is made by the iframe.This request never finishes when the developer tools are open. I’m building charts in Illustrator (100% vector, no effects, no transparency, no filters, no spot colors, Im' working in RGB in Illustrator) and placing them into InDesign 20.3.1 on macOS Ventura. I export to Interactive PDF (RGB). On my Mac in Acrobat and in Dropbox’s inline preview, everything is crisp. Two clients on Windows + Acrobat see (apparently) the same charts as pixelated, as if Acrobat is showing a low‑res proxy (similar to InDesign’s “Typical” Display Performance setting). When I import the same PDF into Illustrator, all elements are still vector paths. We’ve used this workflow for ~8 years without issues; the previous project 2 months ago (earlier InDesign version) was fine. I can't get a sign off on this project until we settle this issue. Cuando intento leer el valor del "recuadro de recorte", el texto aparece cortado. Por ejemplo, se muestra algo como:Tamaño del recuadro de límite de página: 2.000,03 x El problema parece deberse a que la traducción al español utiliza frases más largas que en inglés, y el cuadro de diálogo no se adapta correctamente al texto.Adjunto una captura de pantalla para que se vea claramente el problema.¿Alguien más ha experimentado esto? ¿Existe alguna solución o ajuste para que el texto se muestre completo (sin cambiar el idioma del programa)?Agradezco cualquier sugerencia o solución.¡Gracias!

Ho provato a toglierla dal menù preferenze, ma continua ad esserci rallentando il lavoro. Qualcuno riesce ad aiutarmi?

Hola a todos,Estoy experimentando un problema peculiar con la firma de documentos en Adobe Acrobat. Al firmar ciertos documentos, Adobe los marca como erróneos. Lo curioso es que estos mismos documentos pasan la validación sin problemas en otras herramientas, como el validador de la Unión Europea, el del Gobierno de España y otros programas de terceros.Parece que el problema es específico de Adobe. ¿Alguien más ha experimentado esto o tiene alguna idea de por qué podría estar sucediendo? Hello, recently I have been having some issues with Acrobat crashing consistently when I try to place a MP4 into a PDF document that I previously exported from InDesign. I use the "Rich Media" option to then add a video that I select from my computer. However as it is "connecting" it crashes 10/10 times. I have done this same thing on a different computer that I had. I only began encountering issues on this new computer I got. I'm running on all the latest versions of adobe programs through the CC subscription.

By scanning a QR code or data matrix code, three text fields in a form should be filled in. The QR code contains the model, serial number and calibration date. The values are separated by tabs. When scanning in Word, the information is transferred correctly. In the PDF form, some of the information is not transferred correctly in the first text field and it does not jump to the next text field.What could be the reason for this? 

Two problems with my Adobe Acrobat, and tons of old emails saved as Adobe files. 1. I have a series of old emails from a Microsoft Outlook folder. When I first saved these emails years ago, there was a drop-down menu, and I could see each email and its attachments. That doesn't work anymore, and now when I open the PDF file, it only displays one email instead of multiple emails. Is there some setting to restore this?2. When I'm trying to save new groups of emails to a PDF from an Outlook folder, the same thing happens - it looks like there's only one email, and it's a small file. Any say to fix this? 

Why can the AI function in Adobe Acrobat be used in the free version, but when a Creative Cloud subscription is linked to the registered user, Adobe Acrobat prompts you to purchase the AI function?

I am Very frustrated with Adobe due to not allowing me to install my copy of Acrobat XI Pro to my computer.  While I have always been a fan of Adobe, I am very upset currently because I am not being allowed to use my hard copy of Acrobat XI Pro. Making contact with a real person other than in the "chat" process is very frustrating. I'm a 68 year old semi retired man, that still has a need to use my Adobe Acrobat and Photoshop CS6 programs that I purchased many years ago. I have not asked for technical support because I know how to use them in my own limited way, but due to having to replace a couple of old computers due to them crashing, one being destroyed by a lightning strike surge, and a laptop that was not capable of being upgraded to windows 11 because it was too old. I now am being locked out of my hard copy programs which I purchased, because when I click on the "Retry activation. I have already deactivated one of my other computers." it will not accept that option. 

Beim Umwandeln eines Worddokuments in ein pdf/a fehlen verschiedene Buchstaben (f, t, i, l. usw.) im pdf/a. Die verwendete Schriftart ist Calibri. Meines Wissens ist dies eine Standardschrift, die auch in Adobe hinterlegt ist. Ist das Problem jemanden bekannt und gibt es eine Lösung oder wird das Problem durch ein Update behoben werden?

We have two licence keys for Adobe Pro 2020 tied to the same account and we would like to move one key to a different account.I have found these instructions.Transfer an Adobe product licenseBut it says you need a case number. So I asked the support bot for a case number and this is the response it gave me "To continue with agent assistance, please sign in with an active plan. I found no record of an active plan linked to <Email account>". We don't have any active plans, but we did purchase these licences. When I tried to get support from a human it just repeats itself. This is absolutely brutal support.

Since the virtual assistant was no help and there are no options to escalate me to a real person to assist me, I guess this is my last resort.   I had Acrobat Pro XI on my old PC.  When I tried to deactivate it before installing on my new PC, the deactivate option was grayed out.  I logged into my Adobe account and downloaded Acrobat XI from my products.  When it gets installed and I try to launch, I get error : 'Serial number already in use' [P.I removed by moderator]   I found a thread in here from 2017, but it references creative cloud, which I don't have installed, and all of the links in the thread are no longer valid.  I purchased Photoshop Elements (subscription, don't get me started!) and installed it when I got my new PC.  Don't tell me I need to uninstall it and do all sorts of crazy stuff to make my Acrobat XI work...

I have a subscription to Adbobe Acrobat Pro and get this error when I use Microsoft Word.Run-time error '70':File not found: /Library/Application Support/Adobe/MACPDFM/MacPDFM.framework/Versions/A/MacPDFM None of the solutions posted online work. Can anyone help? Thanks.

All the PDFs were uploaded by others to a server folder for the coworker to make changes.The Error msg were there for a long time but it was only once in a while, recently with the OS and acrobat update it gets much worse.I see there are post suggested to save the file to local drives but with the workload the coworker's doing it is very painful to do that for the current frequency (yeah if you have the error once in a week like 1 pdf within 1k+ pdfs then that's ok, but now the error shows up once every 10-20 files, with that rate the coworker needs to save 200+ pdf to the desktop and edit and save then upload it back to server per week instead of just edit and sa

Hi when i go to open any PDF now with double click or "Open with" i get the following error Adobe Acrobat could not open '20220322_&flow.pdf' because it is either not a supported file type or because the file has been damaged (for example, it was sent as an email attachment and wasn't correctly decoded). This has only started recently and is causing me serious problems. Im using a Macbool Pro Monterey and Adobe Acrobat Pro DC Version 2022.001.20085. Any advice woudl be really appreciated. Sean

I've received a document with some information redacted, however the sender has confirmed that some data was redacted that should not have been.   They have said that it is a software error where '...the distinction between two lines of text isn't properly detected by Acrobat in a particular page or document owing to the file size or quality of the particular page.'This doesn't sound right to me because it is not the whole line of text below /above that has been redacted incorrectly, and in some instances, the redaction occurred where no other text is redacted above or below the text.Is this statement correct?  Will Acrobat really redact random words on a page?

I am having a problem where the content in my tags is being deleted. This happens after I use the "Edit" functions and save my progress. After I do this, my tags remain but they are now empty--the content in the tags has been deleted. This is very frustrating, and it wastes a lot of my time, as I have to go through and retag everything. How do I fix this issue?
