A PDF can be opened successfully in Edge and saved but when try to open in Adobe Pro, it is failing with error, "There was an error processing a page. There was a problem reading the document"

Hi, I am using the most current version of Adobe and am using Read Out Loud to give accessibility to my documents. Numbers are not spoken correctly. We have policy numbers that look like this "11-2020" but is read as "January 2020". In another document the paragraphs are numbered. When the document gets to "5.1.10" it is read as "May 1st ten" and "5.1.12" is read as “May 1st twelve". I would like to change these occurrences. How do I? Thank you,Diana

I am trying to do a simple task, but keep running into a brick wall.  I need my client to select 1 radio choice out of 3 buttons, and have whatever choice the tic, display in a text boxt at the end of the road, automatically.  My radio group is called Payment Date.  The 3 choices are: 1st/month, 3rd/month, 10th/month.  That is the actual name of my three options too.  Whichever chosen needs to appear in the text box as the same wording.  I have tried several calcualtion scripts but it only shows the first option.  I don't know how to add the other two, so they will show when chosen.  Last script attempted below.  See pics for details.var showField = (this.getField("Paymentdate").valueAsString=="Yes")if (showField) event.target.display = display.visible;else {event.target.display = display.hidden; event.value = "1st/month";}

Hello I need help as I am no longer able to print out documents on my printer that are downloaded

A pdf file that I downloaded has some text that is not displaying. The text displays in other apps like Apple Preview, and it's all there when I open the file in Illustrator.  See examples posted (top is in Preview, bottom is in Acrobat)

Hellowe found that we have more than 300 pc that not auto update even update is enabled. All pc have 21.001.20135 version.All pc were distributed with sccm and acrobat is installed during osd task. The installer is 21.001.20135 but the normal behaviour is that after some time acrobat reader auto update to latest version. For some reason this not happen anymore.I already updated the adobe installer in sccm, but I would like to resolve the issue in these 300 pc.I enabled verbose log and I try to start an update search from acrobat reader gui: the response is always no update are available.Is there a way to force update from 21.001 version or i need to force a new install?

I created a form and would like the text to appear on the predawn line when clients are filling it out. How do I do this in the editor. Please help!

Hello, need some help not sure what went wrong. If i check the box and uncheck it again, the editable box went missing.   

It seems that this issue has been raised before, but Adobe continues to be quite resistant to addressing it. Why is it so difficult to download previous versions of Acrobat? Version 25 simply doesn’t work well for me, mainly because I rely on Enfocus Pitstop and Switch, which currently function best with version 24. While most adobe software is supported to download older versions, Adobe doesn’t seem to offer this option for Acrobat Pro. A quick search online doesn’t provide any solutions either. Adobe, please consider making previous versions easily accessible to your users! Does anyone have a solution where I can download older versions of the Acrobat Pro CC app? I can find some but they are bound to a license code!

Hallo, ich habe unter Windows 10 Acrobat Pro aufgerufen, dort Erstellen > Einzelne Seite genutzt um eine XLSX-Datei in PDF zu konvertieren. Der Vorgang startet, bricht dann aber ab. In der Meldung erscheint der Hinweis, das möglicherweise keine Leseberechtigung vorliegt. Gleicher Vorgang mit XLS-Datei funktioniert. Habe neue XLSX-Dateien erstellt und auch verschiedene Speicherorte ausprobiert. Bei einer Bekannten, die auf einem anderen System arbeitet, das gleiche. Versuch, den Vorgang auf einem anderen Rechner (hier Microsoft Surface, Windows 11) durchzuführen, verlief erfolgreich, es wurden die selben XLSX-Dateien genutzt, die beim Windows 10-Rechner zu Problemen führten.Ebenso tadellose Umsetzung unter Mac.Ich konnte ebenso auf allen Rechnern über Adobe.acrobat.com die Konvertierung vornehmen.Selbstverständlich jeweils mit aktiven CreativeCloud-Zugriff. Ist das Problem bekannt? Gibt es Lösungsansätze? Danke im voraus Frank

I have a link in an "LBody" tag.  After running it through the PAC checker I receive the warning: "Link" annotation is not nested inside a "Link" structure element.  From what I can see it looks like it's nested correctly.  What am I missing?  Can someone help?  

Hello,  Since the latest update 2024.005.20320 , received on december 17th 2024, we are not able to print PDF files attached in an email (Outlook 2402) nor from Adobe Cloud storage.Our only solution is to download the file locally prior printing which is creating frustration among our users.Does anyone have the same issue? So far we tried to uninstall Adobe Acrobat using Adobe's cleaner as well as Outlook and our printer driver with no success. Tested with the old and new acrobat also.We can print without issues all sort of document and PDFs only if we have the file locally on the computer.Thanks for your help

Acrobat pdf document containing hyperlinks are validated in PAC it shows 'Alternate description missing for annotation', to resolve this executed the 'Fix problems in PDF tagging structure' in preflight option acrobat,  the issue resolved but in the pdf tool tip text highlights have extra texts for the url links. Hi all, Ive got a problem where when ever i try and reduce a file sizxe the font dissapears and gets replaced with little square boxes. I can only assume there is a problem with the font being used (Century Gothic). Would any one have any suggestions of how to actiually fix the problem...(not just work arounds)??

My serial number for Adobe Acrobat 2017 expired, so I bought a new one for Adobe Acrobat Pro 2020. I downloaded and installed the software and entered the serial number. When I try to open Adobe or a PDF document, the screen starts to open then crashes immediately. I can't get past this issue.Per advice on another thread, I deleted Acrobat Pro, restarted my system, and then installed Acrobat DC. It worked fine. The next step was to upgrade DC to Pro, but the software asked me to purchase the upgrade - it didn't give me an option to enter my serial number. I uninstalled all instances of Adobe products from my system, restarted the computer, and did a clean install of Acrobat 2020 Pro. However, it is still crashing on startup. I did see the registration screen flash up briefly before closing this time.How do I solve this? I need more functionality than DC provides. I don't want to get a monthly subscription, especially since I already paid for a standalone serial number.Here are the

Hello, I have mocked up a sample form of something I am trying to achieve. On the first page, selecting any check box activates the section page associate with it. My question is this. If I select the Section B check box, or the Section C check box, but not the Section A check box, and I tab from this page, the tabbing will tab to the email hyperlinks on all section pages. I am trying to figure out if there is a way that if a section check box on page 1 is not activated, that the tabbing will skip the page completely and not tab the hyperlinks if the form fields on that page are deactivated. There may be scenarios where all 3 check boxes on Page 1 could be selected by the user, or just some. They may select A/B/C,  or A/C,  or B, etc... If it's not possible, no worries. I'm just not sure if it's possible based on the fact any combination of the 3 check boxes could be activated. I am attempting to create a fillable PDF form that will be used to fill-out routine documents in an office environment (let's call it "Fillable Form Template"). Ideally, the end-user will be able to use the fillable form to create a finished PDF document, which will then be saved into a specific folder on their computer in a non-flattened format. From there, the end-user will press a "reset" button to clear the form fields, allowing them to reuse the form again and again until they have generated however many finished PDF documents as they need. Since the completed PDF documents that this form creates must be non-flattened, end-users cannot use the "Print as PDF" function, but must use the "Save As" function in order to save the finished PDF document in the appropriate folder on their computer. Unless of course, the PDF/X file had a specified Output Intent, where it will default to that Simulation Profile. The ink values in the Separations are consistent with the exported file. I know I'm not imagining things, but it used to be when you changed to a different Simulation Profile, the view of that color breakdown would change, showing how that ink formula would appear in that other printing condition. All the numbers stayed the same, but their chromatic appearance on screen shifted to simulate the other condition. I scanned an old recipe book and when the pages are printed the background prints, gray or off white. I've tried removing the background, painting it white etc. I am at my end! Is there a way for just the text to print?I tried PDF and JPGThank you!

All,This shouldn't be this hard, but maybe I'm oversimplifying things...I am creating a form; in this form, I'd like the end-user to select(using the ctrl key-like "normal") multiple options. For example, if you're choices in the form are: Apples, Oranges, Pears, I'd like the end-user to be able to select any one or multiple of those options. Apples, pears or Oranges, Apples, etc.  How do I do this?If I need a javascript to do this, Adobe is really missing the point of ease of use. Thanks!...

I'm sure that this is a simple solution but I can't get figure out how to resize the blue field to match the black field. The dots surrounding the blue field do not allow me to resize it horizontally or vertically, any suggestions? When I click on the blue field, the program is identifying it as an image but I don't want to insert a picture. Do I need both fields? I just want people to be able to enter numbers.   Thanks so much!
