Hello Community support!We are using Adobe Pro.We do not want to use e-signatures. I created a form for our vendors to fill out... check boxes Yes, No, N/A, and fillable fields. Once they are done, they sign the form. There part is now locked.When it comes back to us. We have additional check boxes and fillable field to mark compliance and notes.. then we sign.  Only then ALL fields are locked. When designing the form, I could specify the cells or checkboxes that would stay open after the vendor signs at signature 1.This would allow us to complete our part, then sign off on signature 2. In the end the form is then locked completely. This works successfully last year.Why can I not seem to make this work this year, what changed in Adobe, and how can I do this again NOT usig e-signature??? See attched where you could specify "NOTHING HAPPENS WHEN SIGNED" then you "PICK" those check boxes or fillable spaces. Thank you! 

When trying to combine files I get an error saying that "the pdf is a PDF Portfolio that contains multiple files.  The files within the PDF Portfolio have been added to the file list."It is NOT a portfolio, it is a simple one page document (converted from Word to PDF).Why do I keep getting this error?

How do I stop Acrobat from being the default for all pdf documents

I'm working with a transfered engineering drawing that I need to make edits.  These red boxes with a green pointer appear when I attempt to click somwhere around I assume something detected on a document.  And when I click on it, it acts like a hyperlink forcing me somewhere on the page and it will cycle through spots.  It also makes it so I cannot work/delete edits in certain areas. Need to know how to disable.  Otherwise I'm forced to play whack a mole at work or restart from last save.  

I have spent a total of 18 hours over 3 days and talked to five people at Adobe and I'm puzzled that I am coming up with better Solutions and options than the people that work there and I'm not even in the computer field. It seems like I know more about computers than they do. I don't have time to fix your software. Then they yell at us for being nasty. What do you expect it is very frustrating. When I fall short at my job people yell at me. This is more than falling short though this complete failure as I cannot use the software im paying for with scrambled text. You need to provide sequential prompts not missing a single step on how to fix this. 

I have added a signature via fill and sign, but the " - " icon to remove the signature appears to be greyed out. It wont allow me to remove it.My program is purchased through my employment, and therefore the instructions noted on this page don't work (I just don't have those options).Is there a way I can remove the signature? Initials are already set so I cannot use this instead.Can anyone help?

I am using Adobe Acrobat Standard Continuous Release with the latest update.I have a pdf that has JPEGS. Sometimes Adobe Acrobat Standard lets me resize, crop or move the JPEGS and sometimes it doesn't! It lets me rotate or invert a JPEG but not resize or move.It may have something to do with my changing the document size but I can't be sure.Why does Adobe Acrobat Standard allow me to change JPEGS sometimes and sometimes not!It's very frustrating. Getting 'there was an error processing a page. there was a problem reading this document(18)' error when  i open a PDF in a certain page( the image that exists does not show up) using Adboe Reader/Acrobat. The same PDF opens with out error in all browsers and other pdf readers. 

I need to delete some old templates that were shared by someone who no longer works at the company. These templates are obsolete and make it confusing for current users to select the right templates. As an admin I should be able to do delete or update them, but every entry I'm seeing in this community regarding this subject is years old and the current interface doesn't match the instructions. The only other "solution" I'm seeing is "this is not possible".... Adobe, are you listening? This is an entry level feature that should be included here.Can someone help?

Hi everyone, Is there a way to switch from Adobe Acrobat Standard to Adobe Acrobat Reader in a corporate environment without fully uninstalling Acrobat Standard? We want to downgrade or revert to Reader without removing the application entirely.We use MS Intune for software deployment, so any guidance on managing this transition efficiently would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

When I view shared files, any comments that are marked as "Resolved" have their markups (highlights, strikethroughs, etc.) disappear from the page. This is happening on two separate machines (Windows 10), both in the app and online. I had Adobe support spend an hour on one of my PCs updating and reinstalling the software, and in the end, their conclusion was that that's the way it's supposed to work. BS!I can view the resolved comments in the righthand pane, but the markups on the page do not show, unless I specifically select one on the right. (Only one shows at a time--whichever is selected.)Is there a setting that I have been unable to find that will allow the markups for resolved comments to continue to show?

Hello, When trying to install Acrobat Reader it repeatedly fails. Stalls at around 55% - 60%OS: Windows 11Version: Latest i could find on website or auto downloadInstall method: Creative Cloud, manual download, updating I am installing with Admin rights. Furthermore tried the cleanup tool and this does not find a Acrobat installation at all. What else can i try here besides a full reinstallation of the clients Laptop?

After using this program for 3 years, I'm at my wits end.  Hopefully someone can help because Adobe IT can't even figure this out.  When I create a page size in another program (i.e. 2.625"x8.625") and view it in Acrobat DC Pro, it automatically rounds the page size to 2 decimal points (i.e. 2.63"x8.63").  If I use the crop tool 'custom' in Acrobat, it rounds the 3rd decimal to 2 decimals.  If I use the measuring tool, click on scaling and ratio, enter 3 decimals spaces, it still rounds the pdf to 2 decimals.  I need 3 decimal points.  I tried Photoshop Express App and the same thing happens; always rounding to 2 decimals.  I need to create pdfs with .125 bleeds added to the measurements. If I use the print production mode, the bleed box reduces the document, instead of adding .125" to the document.  IT tried to help by using prepress settings to no avail, as it isn't an option.  There should be a simp

Using book-scanning services, I have books scanned into pdf files as 300dpi images. Using Acrobat DC Pro, I run the Recognize Text tool within the Enhance Scans category (which actually decreases the file size). I then, within the Redact category, try to Remove Hidden Information or Sanitize Document, and the file size explodes upward. As a representative example, this is what happens: Step 0: Book as received from scanning service: 19MBStep 1: Book after running text recognition: 13MBStep 2: Book after running Remove Hidden Information: 53MBor: Step 2: Book after running Sanitize Document: 22MBIncredibly, not only does the file size increase dramatically when removing information/sanitizing document, but, to put salt on the wounds, the image quality also decreases noticeably! This always happens, with no exception.1) Why does this happen? Intuitively, I would think removing hidden information would actually reduce file size, especially if the image quality deteriorates.2) Is there any

Hello,Not sure exactly when this started, but I have noticed recently that when I add an image into a PDF file, I am not able to resize OR move the file with my mouse. Moving the file with the arrow key is fine. But the resize issue still a problem. Please let me know if you have this issue and if you have a solution to what seems to be a bug.

Hi!Our Create Cloud users do not have local admin rights on their computer.Photoshop, InDesign, ... is working fine.But Adobe Acrobat wants on each opening PDF file a local admin login.How can i disable that?Thanks,Bernhard

Every time I save a word doc as a pdf, the work expands. I have when saving a word doc to a pdf the work expands. For example - I have a two page document that must remain two pages but saving it to a pdf, it turns into three pages.

Installed the most recent version of Acrobat Pro DC (2015) from Adobe's website, and every time I try to open it I get the error message "An error has been detected with a required application library or file and the product cannot continue. Please reinstall the application." When I close out of the error window, Acrobat crashes, and I get another box that says "Quitting" at the top of the window, containing the message "Raise without Handler!" Neither reinstalling nor repairing Acrobat has any effect. I've used the Acrobat Cleaner tool to wipe out any old files from the Acrobat Reader DC I used to use, then installed Acrobat Pro DC, but hasn't helped. I can't find anything useful online regarding this first error message; all the forums complaining about it are in regards to Acrobat 7 or Adobe CS2. The forums regarding "Raise without Handler!" are equally outdated, and imply that this message only shows up on Mac systems. However, I am running Windows 10. Can anyone help?

Hallo liebe Community! Ich brauche eure Hilfe für ein PDF-Formular! Und zwar geht es dabei um zwei Formularfelder, bei denen die Eingabe einer Mengenanzahl in das linke Feld (s. Beispiel im Anschluss) die Menge des rechten Feldes in Dreier-Schritten erhöht. Also ab einem Wert von 10 im linken Feld steht rechts eine 3. Ab 20 eine 6 usw. Der Zähler rechts daraf sich aber nur um 3 erhöhen, sobald der nächste Zehner voll ist. Bei allen Zahlen dazwischen (also alles von 11-19, 21-29, 31-39 usw.) bleibt rechts gleich. Ist das ein Fall für Javascript? Hatte vielleicht jemand so etwas schonmal als Aufgabe und vielleicht die Lösung parat, wie man das im PDF-Formular umsetzen kann? Had to move a virtual machine that we use to create PDF files to new hardware.    Cannot activate because the activation servers have been shutdown.   Has anyone found a work around from Adobe [abuse removed] trying to force us into a subscription model?
