Every time Acrobat updates, I have to reset the preference to UNCHECK "Rely on system fonts only; do not use documetn fonts" in order for it to print correctly to a .pdf file.   This has been going on for more than 4 years.  I have checked the forum frequently for solutions to this problem.  This is an internal problem with Acrobat that needs to be fixed.  Adobe needs to have this permanently set to UNCHECKED.  Anyone else found a permanent solution to this problem?

Hi,Every time I try to "Save As" in Acrobat DC on my Mac, it just pulls up a blank screen - completely blank with no text or options whatsoever.  For example, if I create a PDF from multiple files, it will combine the files into a binder but won't allow me to save it from there.  If I then click to close the file, it will ask me if I want to save it.  When I click "yes" the blank screen will also pop up.  I have tried the following:- Uninstalling and reinstalling- Restarting my computer- Updating Acrobat DC through Creative CloudI am running OSX 10.9.4 on a 2.9ghz Intel Core i7 MacBook Pro w/ 8Gb ram and 80Gb of available spaceAny suggestions? I have an Adobe Acrobat DC 2017 license and I have exceeded the number of activations allowed by changing PCs over the years. Adobe technicians tell me that since the license is out of support, they cannot help me. Is there a solution or do I need to buy a new one?

Hello, I need help. Today I opened Acrobat and the pdf I was working on suddenly had a grey and white tiled background instead of white. Setting the color to Windows in Accessibility or Custom white did nothing.I opened the file in the mobile App and it looks normal. How do I revert the background to white?TIA! 

I have recently upgraded to Acrobat Pro,  mainly for the compare PDF function, but the program crashes each time I try to compare my documents. I have tried all the troubleshooting suggestions.

In Acrobat Pro, under Preferences > Content Editing In here you can choose your pixel editor, your vector editor, and your fonts. But... What is Reading Order? What does it do related to Content Editing? Why would I change it from Left to Right, Top to Bottom to something else? I cannot find anything in the Helpfiles about this setting.  Does anyone know what this is?

Hello! I am running into an issue with the Adobe Acrobat plugins for Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint. Any time I launch these products, I get runtime error 32815. After disabling the Acrobat excel add-in, the error went away. The issue persisted on Word and PowerPoint however and continues to pop up any time I open a .pptx or a .docx file.  I also tried running the apps in Rosetta mode, but that did not work. What additional steps can I take to remedy this issue?   

In the new features for Acrobat Pro, Adobe declares the ability to edit images in Acrobat using the Adobe Express function. I have the latest update and there is no such feature! Is this feature really available?

Hello, I work at a printing office that often deals with large architectural plans.  We charge by surface area, and although adobe displays the dimensions of a document we still have to calculate the surface area of it by hand, costing us valuable time. (e.g. height * width * price) I'd like to know if there's a function in Acrobat that can automatically calculate the document's surface area and display it at a glance like it does with height and width. If anyone can help with this it'd be greatly apreciated!

I have purchased Adobe Acrobat Pro 20.0.  The perpetual license, not the subscription.  I have installed it on my workstation and signed in with the Serial Number.  When I log in to my Adobe account online, it shows the product as being registered.  When I go to the Activated Devices screen, there is nothing there.  How do I get my workstation to show up here?

Hi all,   I have combed a ton of articles on this subject and I am hitting walls with every attempt.  I have a simple fillable form I built and want to submit the entire PDF to an email with custom subject line and reflect the attached document name.  (Just using the submit form option send a renamed pdf to the email just fine but a generic subject line.)I am using the following javascript and have tried a few other examples.  Nothing comes up in the console with errors but outlook does not open to send the email.  If I open in a browser I get a popup that asks if I want to send to the email in question but it opens a new tab in chrome what does nothing. If I open in MS Edge it tabs back to chrome but does not open a tab... Hi, I am new into pdf java script. Is there a way that I can restrict the user to input only ".5", ".75", and whole numbers only. I have searched community discussions but suggestions are not working to what I want to achieve. Like the input can only be:0.500.751.001.501.75or 2.00

We are having an issue with a few users when opening PDFs in Adobe Acrobat. When opening multiple PDS it can sometimes take approx 10 seconds or more for the second PDF to open. Adobe doesn't lock up while this is happening, you are still able to use it. It happens randomly, but frequently, with different PDF's regardless of if they are on the local desktop or a network location. Through testing I have determined it also frequently happens if you open a PDF close the pdf tab, without closing out of Acrobat, and then trying to open another pdf. We have tried the following to try fix the issue: Disable Protected mode at startup and enhanced security.Untick "Show online storage when opening files"Disabled new acrobatMade sure up to dateReinstalledDisabled Gen AI through registryDisabled page cacheRan with Antivirus turned off to see if that was interfering Tried running in compatibility mode Any other suggestions on what may be causing pdf's to take a long time to load with

I am trying to delete pages in Acrobat Pro. Everything looks normal, I can go to "Organize Pages" and select the thumbnail of the page I want to delete. Pop-up says "Are you sure you want to delete the page from the document?" Click ok and nothing happens. There are no error messages, it just doesn't delete the page. I have also tried the trash icon at the top of the page and right clicking on the page to select "Delete Page" and get the same result. I have tried multiple different documents. I have also tried saving a copy to my desktop instead of opening from the server. There are no security issues, all "Document Restrictions Summary" items are set to "Allowed". Also, I am able to insert pages and edit the document, just won't delete pages.

I am using a pdf form I created several years ago and recently noticed after I start entering data I can't tab from field to field.  Each press of tab opens a comment popup anchored to the form title at the top.Even if I mouse-select the field, tabbing to next field doesn't work.I've tried unchecking in Preferences opening the pdf with comments but nothing fixes it.Any thoughts?

Is this new or has it always been a limitation?When I use the "Save as PDF" out of Office 365 apps, i'm not getting this message."you can create 1 pdf for free every 30 days on a rolling basis"Would someone shed some light on this?Thanks

Typically, when scaling an PDF, I can adjust the measuring tool to metric and scale as require. Now when I open a PDF it does not give me an option and it is using the default scale. Anyone else had this problem?

Hi!I am creating a course where I want to monitor the progress of my students on a live organized editable form. I require:1.This form to be shareable with as many students I have2.To have a different link for every student (does this require to have additional adobe paid accounts for each student?)3.For me to able to access each individual link and check the progress they have made so far.4. The form to be editable even if it has been shared.5. The form should have drag and drop capabilities as well as to be able to write in the boxes. Is this possible with any of the adobe products_
