Hi,I received an email supposedly from Adobe regarding an opinion survey.  Grand prize $1500 Amazon gift card.  Is this legit?  I poked around Adobe's site to see if they posted something about the survey but have found nothing.  And within the email, if you want to be certain that the email is legit, you can click on a link to verify.  THAT made me suspicious?  Anyone else receive this? Thanks,Ruth

Why Adobe, why? I WANT TO OWN MY SOFTWARE, NOT RENT. What makes you think that offering only rental software is a good idea? And yes, it is rental. From what I can see, there is no way to purchase and own the programs such as a Creative Suites. If there is no way to own, it can only be rented. So does that mean I can have my lawyer draw up a rental agreement? That way you can't "evict" me for what ever you see fit. If I join the cloud, and in 2 years can no longer afford it, I lose my programs. How do you expect to keep customers doing business like that. I was very excited for the release of CS7 after seeing all the great videos of new improvements to Premier Pro. It was a done deal, I was ready to buy. Now, I will stay with CS6 indefinitely, or until I find another editing solution. What I really don't understand is why you would do this, considering all of the FCP converts coming over. Adobe submitted a public comment to the copyright office arguing that training generative AI on copyrighted content without persmission should be considered fair use. But at best, making these arguments can only mean Adobe will wait until our work is posted somewhere outside of its software to steal it and generate content based on it.I would like Adobe to explain why it wants to enable tech companies to violate the rights of its customers.

Vehicle license plate cannot be recognized, please help

i am wondering if I should buy a pair of prescription auto change color glasses( indoor is a normal glasses, outdoor will auto changed to sunglasses).  do you have any expericne to share with me?  will that take too long to change color once i sit in my office from outside? or if my office is bright (have all the curtains up), will the glasses change the color? i don't want that bother my work, but i am so tried of carry two glasses ...please share your exprecie with me. thank you in advance.

I was commissioned to make a design for polo shirts for a company. Now they want the native files for their own use. I'm guessing they will possibly try to use these for other prints whether it be on fabric, or on other items like their flyers or employee stuff. Is charging 3x the design fee too much or too little ?

My wife uses Google Chrome on a Windows 11 computer... she is an individual user and our only 'network' is a file sharing link through our Xfinity modemIn spite of being a standalone computer Chrome was showing MANAGED when she would try to delete cookies that she didn't want   I did a search and found out how to fix the problem 1 - log in using Safe Mode (which has admin level settings) 2 - start regedit 3 - delete HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Policies\Google\Chrome   Now Chrome allows her to go to chrome://settings/content/all and delete unwanted cookies

In 2019 I signed up for an account and bought an Alaska Airline ticket to fly... after reading about digital boarding passes I installed the Alaska app on my Android cell phone and entered my account information... I then had to go to the app and manually enter my reservation code so the app would perform the linking process to display the boarding pass   My cell phone is off when I'm home, and 2 or 3 times a year it displays an updating message when I turn the phone on... I never pay any attention to what is being updated, I just let the update happen   A couple days ago I bought another Alaska ticket... when I turned my phone on today (going out shopping) I went to the Alaska app to enter my new reservation code... Lo and Behold... Alaska has updated their behind the scenes code and my flight has automatically been added to the cell app... progress is sometimes a good thing

Hi folks,   how is it cooking for you? Mind a little chat on channels and their outcome?   As I am on my way to my first conference in a lifetime, where I will give some examples on how to use Adobe Firefly, I was wondering if I should go back filming my examples and create videos as I did a while ago. Always found using video recording to be a great way to hear how it will sound for others.   Need a headset or something on that line, but I mostly wonder: I see YouTube has shorts now, which is a completely new reality for me: how would you rate them?   As a former me, I used Vimeo, not YouTube, but I think this last one is a good platform too. Are there any others that I am missing? I am really rusty and would appreciate some honest opinion from video creators. Better go back to good old Vimeo, or is it the MySpace of video content creation?   hope someone will jump in for a chat on this matter

Hi,I accidentally used a wrong email address to apply for job via Workday. This email ID does not belong to me and thus I do not have access to it. I'm also concerned that the other person now have access to all of my confidential ID info on my job applications. I registed again with my correct email ID but also could not submit the job application again because 1)one of the job has expired; 2) The systems says I have already applied to this job because the name and all other info are the same so I can not apply to the open job I want to apply to either. Can this be corrected? Can I get my application records migrated to my own, correct email ID? What should I do with all of my personal information?
