Nature Photographers and Illustrators Have the Secret to Better Health. Their work could be classified as “Ecotherapy.” There’s medical evidence that taking a walk in the woods assists with issues of depression and motivation. 50 doctors in 11 states prescribe it to patients and there’s signs of it working. So, that being the case, how does getting out in nature and capturing all that ecological beauty sound? Take a Digital Single Lens Reflex (dSLR) camera, HD movie camera, audio recording devices, or iPad/stylus.Your assignment? Try it!If you need more convincing, watch this 2 minute piece:https://www.nbcnews.com/health/health-news/dose-nature-doctors-prescribe-day-park-anxiety-n823421
My tablet worked fine until the fall update of windows 10 the other week, ever since then the calibration is off on my tablet display. I use an extended display but if I set to 'duplicate' or 'show only' the calibration is fine. It works okay with a mouse but when I use the pen the cursor will appear halfway across the screen from where I'm pressing. I was using it the other day and the cursor started glitching out, in the Windows Defender menu it had said there was an issue with a pen table bus but even after applying this and restarting I still had no luck.I've uninstalled the driver and reinstalled to no avail, I'm putting this down to a standard windows screw up (every time windows has an update it usually breaks an Adobe app on me.)Monitor is an Acer S220HQL - 1920/1080Tablet is an UGEE 1910B - 1440/900
are there loads of questions to be answered?
Looking for recommendations on some worthwhile design or marketing conferences in spring of this coming year.
I'm trying to access the FAQ websites linked from this new Lightroom CC community, but it seems the links are not working. I get "404 Page not found" errors for most of them. Also, one of the active links ("Bug? Feature Request? Add it here!") takes me to another site, a Photoshop family forum, where it seems I need to make another account to post. It's all very confusing. Why can't I make bug reports and requests here using my Adobe account?

What a great resource the Adobe Community can be! Tough, technical, detail-specific challenges receive multiple responses--plus even humor and encouragement! Many Community questions/answers are well crafted, application-specific, and well focused. I have more big-picture, macro questions. I’m editing/revising/rewriting about 10 Chapters of my draft book. My rewrite incorporates (what I consider) major graphic design elements, color and clip-art into my draft book. I’m considering both digital and printed versions of the book. Valerie Kirschenbaum’s book “Goodbye Gutenberg” is my springboard for ideas. Her book considers a younger, ever-changing market to be more responsive to a designer-writer approach--authors who incorporate art, color and layout variety to enhance their written message. I imagine that now also includes audio and video for books! I’m a Mac-user. I’ve been using Indesign and Photoshop for years, plus VERY simple projec
The first camera is a Sony Cybershot W830 20.1 megapixel 8X digital zoom that I got on ebay brand new for a paltry $100 USD. I bought it because my friend had one that he'd bought a year before for about $180 USD so I was able to benefit from seeing it function and the quality of the pictures...I was totally impressed with the images for such a small camera, it fits in the palm of my hand and slips easily into my shirt pocket completely hidden. The second camera is a Canon PowerShot SX700 HS 16.1 megapixel 30X digital zoom. I got this camera from the same friend as it had stopped working. He'd been keeping it in a dresser in it's original box. The original model he'd purchased was the PS SX280 which was frot with battery issues. To his frustration he returned that model twice to the point that Canon just upgraded him to the SX700 which also took a dump. To this day he hates anything Canon. After haggling with him he finally just gave it to me and wished me luck trying to make it work.
Why is Adobe Support so absolutely inefficient, sluggish and hugely frustrating? Anybody else feels the same way? Notice how they do not ask you to score their service? I wonder why![Title edited by moderator for brevity and because it was repeated in the body.].
Is this how Skynet started? How long till we are hunted down by Terminators (with very high frame rates )Nvidia Is Building Its Own AI Supercomputer You see, even when you do a tongue in cheek Google search about NVIDIA and Skynet, someone has already written about it. Need help with scripting want to hire someone to fix...
I am looking for statistical data or research supporting the benefits of providing college students access to Creative Cloud software by making the university a "Creative Campus." Does anyone have any tips or leads about where I could gather some information about some of the campuses throughout the United States that have already partnered with Adobe to supply the students with access? For the record, I am seeking this information as part of a technical writing assignment in which I will submit an internal proposal to my university. My group hopes to incite change on our campus through this proposal.
Stacy Sisson used to be an Adobe employee and managed the Adobe Freelance group and later manage the Adobe Groups and ACP in the beginning. Some of you still remember her! she was a great leader! Her life turned out a bit later and she is not doing great. She has health issues and as a results cannot work now.Her friend Patti Thompson (used ot work for Adobe as well) organized a Gofund me campaign. Here is a link. If you remember her and like to help! I am sure she will appreciate it. Sorry I am pitching it here on our forum but I felt the need to share it. If you think it is not appropriate let me know! Here is a link:Fundraiser by Patty Thompson : Let's help Stacy! Thank you. Chana
Is there any adobe software that will sync with google photos or flickr? I want to be able to make changes on my desktop that will automatically sync to all my devices and google photos or flickr. Google's Picasa used to do that, but the stopped supporting it. I have been on the hunt for over a year and can not find such a service. It seems pretty basic to me.Thanks!
Hi - I was at MAX (awesome) and I'm going to give a briefing to a camera club I recently joined on the new products for photographers. I was wondering if there is a channel for Adobe or partners to provide coupons or swag for such a group? I'd be happy to incorporate it in my discussion and promote it to the group (~75 members or so). Thanks for any thoughts. Also, let me know if this should be posted in another part of the community.
This was a pleasant surprise while I browsed the BBC Tech news this morning. It's a four minute video with the the focus on AI in Content Creation as seen and led by Adobe, and telling us this was a theme at MAX this year. I liked the lady at the end who when asked if AI was going to put creatives out of a job, was just a tiny bit hesitant before she said 'Nooooooo..... well probably not... Ermmmm... excuse me, I need to go find another job'. AI takes centre stage in new Adobe tools - BBC News I can't help but still feel a bit cynical about what I see as a relelentless pushing of Adobe Stock as a revenue stream. It was the same last year. So many of the Sneaks and tools recently introduced, make easier and easier to use Stock images, which you obviously then have to pay for. A single image can cost you the same as a month's subscription to the Photoshop/Lightroom Photography plan, so Stock is going to be a
The picture is a lot bigger and shows much more of the cloud and sunbeam they emerged from but I wanted to frame as much of both as I could. At times they buzzed our house just a few hundred feet high but they were too fast for me to catch a shot. My neighborhood has a lot of tall trees, by the time I heard the roar of their jet engines they'd passed and gone. There were four and then eight and four again. They flew for about an hour it was a real treat to see them zooming around having a blast and showing off their aerial skills.
I cannot get my user agreement small enough to sign no matter what I do. It is on my laptop. Any ideas?
Hello Everyone,I am going to be studying for my certifications for Print and Web. I am interested in hearing people's ideas on the best path of study. I was going to order in Classroom in a Book, but I was also am curious about Lynda.com and other published books that you might suggest. Thank you for your time,DaveP.S. I could not find a good forum for this post, so I thought I would start here and move forward.
Ok, it's just a silly question, but as I went through my pictures, I started wondering what happened of this year and last year's graffiti I left on that side of the planet.Do they just burn it or do they keep track of the collective art ?By the way, if someone wants to read some french : Back from MAX
