Hi,I purchased a license for Adobe Type Basics Opentype Edition. Two Font files seem to be missing from the downloaded ZIP file (Woodcut Ornaments and Bickham Script). I'm not sure if there was a glitch in the version of the file I have access to, or they were dropped from the package, but I have 63 instead of 65 fonts in there. They're not a huge loss, but they may come in handy at some point.When I tried chat support, I was told to call phone support. When I called phone support, I was told that phone support was not available for that product.Has anyone had a similar issue, or can anyone point me toward a support number for Adobe type that might be able to help?(The main support number at 800-833-6687 was the one that had no option for type, and told me phone support was unavailable after I pressed "Other" a second time.)

I'm trying to access the full range of a given typeface- Adobe seems to only offer a ridiculously limited amount of variations per font...Thoughts?

I have been a CS Design user for many years, more then I want to admit. I have always owned my own Adobe product's version and my own font collections. I have over a thousand fonts, some of which are very old. So far, using CS 5.5 Design and Web Premium, I have had NO problems with these fonts.My question is, if I go to the "cloud" version, what happens with my fonts. Will they sync? Will they have a problem with version'ing? I am a freelance designer and my clients have become a custom to the unique font options I provide. If I can't pull up 5.5 files with these fonts and have them work, it will be a VERY costly upgrade that I would NOT be happy about. Can someone tell me their experience going to the "cloud" versions of InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop with their personally owned fonts?Thank you.

Dear Adobe,I am all of a sudden missing my copy of the Arno font. It came included with my CS program discs which I can not locate. How do I get a copy of this font restored? I do not see it listed in any of my purchased products on the web site. Please help!Thanks.

Hello. Is there a free or cheap "upgrade" or fix for my 1990 Minion Regular and Minion Expert fonts? I had a beautiful book printed offset with those fonts in 2008to mention the latest publication I used them in, and at the time was using QuarkXPress 4. Now I've got QuarkXPress 10.5 and Microsoft Word 2011 which I'm usingon an iMac with OS 10.8.5.Thank you very much!

Hello - I wanted to be able to use Myriad Pro fonts (Regular, Semibold, and Bold) in PowerPoint, so I asked one of our graphic designers that's more familiar with acquiring fonts than I am to acquire these fonts for me. He did. I have tried both installing them and straight copying them into my Windows Fonts folder. They load within this folder, BUT I still can't access them from PowerPoint. PowerPoint is still only showing the Myriad Pro, Myriad Cond and Myriad Pro Light versions that originally displayed before I tried installing the other versions of the font. I have PowerPoint 2013. I can't find anything to indicate that Regular, Semibold, and Bold will not work with PowerPoint, so I'm wondering what the possible issue could be and why PowerPoint is not displaying the newly installed Myriad Fonts. I had our IT guy take a look, but he's not sure either. At the same time that I installed this Open Type font, I also installed a new True Type Font. PowerPoint is ready that font just fi

Hi all,I've just upgraded to Yosemite on my 2013 iMac. Some of the Adobe fonts no longer appear in my menus. So trying to fix that I redownloaded them from my Adobe account. When I try to install them by double-clicking, say, "UniveConLigObl", nothing happens. I was getting a message from Font Book that the fonts I was trying to reinstall were damaged, but since clearing out my font cache (both through Safe Boot and through a Terminal command), nothing at all happens.I've been on the line to Apple tech support and haven't found any resolution. We've tried:Clearing the font cache through Safe Boot;Clearing the font cache through a Terminal command; andRunning Disk Utility.Nothing has worked so far.Thanks for your interest.

Hi everybody,I am working for an advertising agency and we would like to use the font Hobo Std. Medium in several media for one of our customers. It will be on- and offline media, e. g. labels, displays, folders, website, social media. Is that possible or are there any restrictions concerning reproductions? Or do we have to buy a special license for enterprises?I have already read in EULA terms and font licensing declarations but I have not found yet anything about commercial use. I have files that I need to work in INDD CS6 and the fonts are not showing as available/open though they are. If I open same file in CC INDD, fonts are okay – but I do not want to work the file in CC. Fonts worked fine until just a few days ago. Very odd and inconvenient. Haven't changed anything on my system. It is basically ALL the fonts I use most often.Anyone know how to get CS6 to see the fonts?

I need to create a wide or extended version of my Adobe Palatino STD / Open Type font. I am creating ePub3 documents of books that all had fonts stretched 112% for easier reading and the paragraphs are justified. Browsers and eReaders do not support the style tag, so I thought I would just make the font naturally wider and embed that in the document. Decades ago we used TypeStyler for this (Showing my Age!) I'm organizing my fonts, and wondering if it's still the norm to keep the PostScript versions over the TrueType versions for print? I'm running Mac OS 10.10 using CC. Any info would be helpful

Hello All,I just downloaded the Arno Pro family font. I am trying to use the nang (combining dot) with this font and am having difficulty. When I try using the combining dot that is made for other fonts (ie. Times New Roman) it ends up being off-centre and I have to keep switching back. Any tips or tricks on this. I am using a Mac, in case that matters. Will ideally be working in Word 2011 for Mac and will be importing to InDesign for typesetting. Thank you.

I was looking at purchasing a few fonts that are in the Adobe Type Basics package, and it would obviously be cheaper to buy the package.One question though, is there a difference between the License and Files provided in the Adobe Type Basics Package and the same fonts purchased separately?Just wanted to ask before I found out that the files did not contain some features, or could not be used for commercial purposes.Thanks to anyone who may know.

We're currently developing an embedded system with a small LCD and a touch interface.Within this system we want to present some data for our customers but we don't have font we can use yet.Just to clarify, we've created our own operating system for this device, so we do not use an embedded linux solution.We make bitmap images of all the font characters and import them to our system.Is there any fonts for sale in the "Adobe Type" that matches this license?Thanks in advance!Best regards, Linus

How can I access swashes and small-caps for Adobe Garamond (or any other opentype font with these features built into the font file) using MS Office, specifically Word?  Swashes don't activate when checking "discretionary ligatures," and the small caps that appear when checking "small caps" are not "true" small caps-- they're just Word's poor fabrication.Thanks!

Hi all ! I wonder if i can pick some brains ?I'm a photogapher and i'm trying to design a new business card and look to my brand.At the moment I'm using Adobe Arno Pro font for my main logo which i quite like. It has a traditional almost classical look but with a contemporary twist - see attached pic.However, I'm not sure i like the look of Arno Pro for the main font text on the reverse of my business card  - see pic attached.I've also kept all text lower case on rear of card ... is this cool or not ?! If i keep Arno Pro caption for my main logo font, what other fonts would anyone suggest for the reverse / main type ?I photograph people, places, architecture, fashion, 360 panoramas and video so i'd kinda like the font to reflect this.Any advice or opinions would be much appreciated !Many thanks

I'm working on a Mac. American Typewriter comes with the computer as a system font. I've created a logo with this font. The client would like me to include the font in the "packaging" of the logo. Is this okay? It will be used in print, online and TV.

I'm trying to get a handle on font messes spread across several Macs running 10.7.5.  Lots of different fonts loaded into local hard drives, causing much confusion as we share projects and media on shared storage.  I've been trying to use FontAgent Pro's Teamserver central font library app to get around this, but as I test, I keep getting different and inconsistent results.  For instance, I just enabled one font in FontAgent Pro, and used it successfully in Photoshop.  I then quit Photoshop,  enabled a second font (same family--Helvetica Neue), opened Photoshop, and...it still only sees the first one I enabled.  Aaagh.  Similar results in other apps.My plan is to disable all unnecessary local fonts (which I did, using FontBook, and it was manual and tedious), and rely only on FontAgent libraries, but now I'm confused.  Any other ideas about how to minimize local fonts and get best results from FontAgent Pro libraries?thanks,Steve Tomich

As the website was giving me an error, I've contacted the sales dpt. more than once in order to get the problem fixed, and was constantly redirected to tech support. The attention and care of the staff was great, but no deal. Today, I got a call from tech support trying to fix the situation. Still no go. After rechecking what could possibly be causing the issue, the technician finally said to me that this product wasn't available in Portugal and that was the reason why I wasn't able to proceed to checkout.After a somewhat frustrating process, I have to wonder why sales didn't tell me in the first call the product wasn't available in Portugal, avoiding this week long process. And, what could possibly explain why this product isn't available in EU members (I've tried selecting different coutries, with no success), and why is adobe
