I have just updated my indesign and have lost half my Myriad Pro fonts?

I am working with Adobe CC on two Windows 7 computers. I have installed the OTF version of the Anomoly font family (10 faces) on both computers and installed it from the same source files. On one computer when choosing a face style all 10 show under Anomoly but on the other it shows as three separate groups, with Light and Black in the separate groupings. Also, Anomoly Regular does not show at all even though I can see it in the Font folder. I have deleted all the Adobefnt*.lst files. I have nuke the Windows font cache and any other font cache files I have identified. What is the issue here? This is causing a big problem.

I'm trying to create a mailer for a group with about a thousand members, and the client wants to have each image personalized with the member's name such as you may have seen on those "my name in the picture" calendars. Here's an example for clarification:http://www.americancalendar.com/intheimage/The graphic design is no problem, but I'm certainly not getting paid enough to manually arrange every name on the list. I'm sure these companies have some way of automating the process. They must create the "font" then be able to auto-fill the right name/messages, but I can't figure out that workflow in my head. If the names were written in simpler fonts this would be a cake walk, but some of these fonts look more complicated than I know how to easily automate (in the example above, the blocks-of-snow and hay bale fonts, and I think there are environmental lighting and shadow effects on the lilypad and apple fonts). Hi everyone,I have a question about fonts that I hope you can help me with.I am about to purchase the Adobe Type Basics collection, and I believe that after I purchase this pack I will be able to do "Preview and Print" permission-based stuff. For example, I'll be able to embed the fonts into a PDF that I can send to a commercial printer in order to get the document turned into a physical product (i.e. a paperback book).However, do I have the permission to embed some of these Type Basic fonts into a PDF that is meant to be sold or distributed to the general public as a PDF eBook? In other words, can I embed the font (for commercial purposes) into a PDF file meant to be sold "as is" as a digital product? Is there a separate license for this? And or PDF eBooks?Additionally, if Adobe creates a new license in the future, does that mean that my current license is replaced? For example, say they create a "PDF eBook license" in the future, does that mean that I have no choice but to buy that l

so im only a student and i dont really know about this kind of stuff!i was asked to create a band logo, and in it i used a Didot medium typeface, and Futura medium.These are going to be used a number of times by the band for example on CDs/t shirts and band merch. what do i and they need to do to be able to do this legally and without getting sued basically haha.what sort of licenses and stuff do we all need etc?thanks!

Someone deleted my question about Adobe Font Folio 7. I am looking for informations related to adobe font folio 7 released March 13, 1995 and I can not find much (not even a picture of the original packaging). I would like to know if, like later versions, it was called 7.0 or just 7. Thank you very much.

I purchased CreativeSuite 3 in 2008 and upon registering it was given the option of a bonus—I chose Hypatia Sans Pro font set. Fastforward 6 years. I am now purchasing a new computer (I use a computer until it's in peices). It does not appear as though Adobe recorded the font as a "purchase" in my account, but I would like to download the font (as I really do like it) onto my new computer. How do I go about "recovering" the font? Is it as simple as syncing my font files from one computer to the other, or since it is a licensed font, does something different need to be done?Thanks for any help,Michael

I am a graphic designer intending to design a portfolio website in Adobe Muse. I plan to use TypeKit web fonts to design my website. Upon completioin of the website I intend to design business cards and my resume to match the look of my website. I would like to use the same fonts as I used on the website. Is it possible to use web fonts for printing purposes? If not, what do people typically do in this situation. The last thing I want to do is use a font that "looks" like the ones used on my website.

Does anyone have a copy of the Roberto de Vicq de Cumptich's "Words at Play" video where Bonaparte, Beckett etc typographic portraits assembled on the screen like kinetic type? I like to show that to my Digital Design class and the link I had doesn't work anymore.Thanks!

We've been having problems with Adobe Arabic fonts in the very useful composite font feature now available in ME versions of Indesign. Arabic text either doesn't compose at all (see Myriad Arabic in attached image), or has composition problems (see Adobe Arabic - the bottom one I think is Adobe Naskh). I would first suspect this tø be an Indesign issue, but we use other non-Adobe Arabic fonts and we don't recall ever having the same problem with them. And the fact that results vary with different fonts also point to it being a font-related issue.

I'm using Adobe Text Pro as a replacement for Times New Roman in a series of books we've published for years and years -- a nice update but not too drastic a change.Here's the error report: the glyphs in Unicode slots 02BE and 02BF are switched -- 02BE should be right half ring, and 02BF should be left half ring. I do not understand how to install the Leander Script that I received as a gfit with my purchase of Adobe.  The instructors say navigate to the folder where the fonts are.  Then it says to select the fonts.  I do not see how to select the fonts, then right click the fonts and choose install.  I do not see these aspects of the instructions.

HI I have been trying to save PDF and ai file with PDF compatibility. I used the ai font brand new era outline G98 , and it shows me message that the font could not be embeded, and safe with PDF because of licensing restrictions....??? What do I do? I am not an expert in illustrator.
