I use Opera 10.53 as my primarily web browser. The problem is that i never can write or reply in any Adobe forum with Opera. (See attached image)The text field i write this text in is very small in Opera and i cannot write in it. So to post questions and/or post answer i must use another browser, such as Internet Explorer in this case.Since Adobe changed to this forum software i have never been able to use Opera to write in the forums. I can read posts in Opera, but never reply.The question is Why and will it be fixed?/Roger

hello there!I wanted to individualize the Adobe CS icons, but InDesign doen't let me. I can change all the others accept InDesign.it annoys me a bit. I already checked the read&write rights in the Finder, but it does not help at all...any ideas are welcome!cheers and thanks
The Reply button on forum postings is not available for me when using Firefox. At first, I thought it was AdBlock Plus. But, even with AdBlock Plus disabled, reloaded forum pages had no Reply button.Thanks,Drew
My question is sort of complicated but i will do my best to explain it, I have finally cleaned up the keyword list to where it makes sense. I want to know if there is a way of creating a subfolder with unique keywords that are not linked to the main keyword heirarchy? I just keep running into the same problem when i add certian keywords to a perticular image, or synonyms everthing is added to the main list. Is there a way around this, and if not is there any other system that could be recommended? Thank you
Hi all,I have 2 question that hope can be answer by others here.1st: if I was developing an interactive presentation or elearning application using Flash, how do i protect it from being copy. I heard that we have to set the CRC seting ect' but I'm not so sure how or is it working.2nd: if i already burn it into a CD, how do I make sure its hard(if posible prevent 100%) for the others to copy, but they still can acces the file?I did try few software it did lock the CD but also lock the application and cant be acces...thats it..thanks.
Apologies if I'm polluting this place and the question has been brought up before and answered, but my search didn't turn up anything of relevance, so I'm asking. During the last two weeks I have severe performance and log-in issues every day during around 8.30 to 10.30 AM local time (CET+1, should be something like 2 AM PST). I'm assuming this is because some backup is going on somewhere (not necessarily on the forum itself) and would humbly inquire if someone knows something about it and if there is any betterment in sight. This has only occured recently, perhaps after some backend software has been updated and it really bugs me as I often start a reply only then to lose it due to the problems, having to type it again at a later point. I can also verify that it happens with different browsers and on two different connections, so I would rule out problems on my end and really blame it on the servers. If anyone has any info, I'd appreciate it.Mylenium

Ok I came here a few days ago with a question regarding Photoshop Elements 7. Since then I have been getting e-mails telling me about every single question that every single person on here has asked and even thought about asking !!!! I followed each link ( on about the first 20 or so) to the "STOP E-Mail Notification" icon but as of just about 1 min ago I am still getting SLAMMED with replies and questions about things that I never even knew existed !!!!!!! Anyone have any ideas on how I can undo whatever has been done......and QUICKLY !!!????
I've been trying to ascertain why a client using Adobe Reader has been unable to save a PDF with form fields that I generated with Livecycle Designer.I've spent several circuitous hours reading unhelpful Adobe help posts (which I marked as such), the most frustrating of which advised me to select a nonexistent option from a drop down menu -- note that this was not an option that was unavailable to select (grayed out), but rather, it was not an option.I finally found a post on a third party site indicating that I'd need to upgrade my software in order to allow a Reader user to save their data.I need to pay more for more features -- that's fine. What has me incised is the amount of time I've wasted reading inexplicably irrelevant Adobe help files only to discover that I need to download something else entirely.To add insult to injury, after downloading the Free Trial of the version I need, I am prompted for a serial number and am unable to open the software. There are a few Adobe Forums I visit regular. I often use the search function and would like to search only in the forum I am visiting at that moment. Currently we have to search in ALL 560 or so forums and have the option to fine-tune the search by searching and selecting the forum in a huge unhelpful ordered list. This isn't convenient.So hence my request: could we please have a "Search This Forum" search box (besides the current "Search Forums" in the top right)?

Hi, I can't get the 3rd party plug-in filters used in CS3 to work in my trial of CS5. Is there a restriction, or am I doing something wrong?
Today, after several weeks and just for the sake of it, I decided to try once more the whole routine of logging out, moving to a non Adobe site, deleting cookies, restarting, re-logging in, and trying to change my Adobe ID to my email address. Well, this time there were two noticeable differences:1. Changing my Adobe ID to my email address did work,and, most important:2. I have stayed logged in after two browser restarts in Safari/Vista!!!I am not aware of having done anything differently, so I think something must have changed in the site/software.I am touching any wood in sight. And I guess that now I will only experience the "normal" logouts other users have been reporting...
Can somebody please help us with this big issue.Web Gallery didn't work on CS4 and we gave up, got Capture one, but now we upgrade it to CS5 and still DOESN'T WORK??? How this people never fixed that issue? can you please get real????ThanksPablo
My forum ID is "Jim Lester". I did find the FAQ post on spawned IDs and how to fix it, and that seems to have fixed most of the problems (at least my history and PMs are still with the "Jim Lester" account), however afterwards when I posted this message: http://forums.adobe.com/message/2784668#2784668A new account was spawned: Jim Lester-XOegig but at least it didn't take of the history of the original account this time. Subsequent re-runs of the login/logout/login/logout procedure did not appear to merge the account, and it will be interesting to see if a new account gets created when I post this question.
Whentyping in the original forum text entry box, the system breaks lines in very strange places. Hopefully, this posting is displaying the way it originally showed up while typing it in. No, really. I think it's actually...... functioning correctly in the new version of Opera 10.51 (PJ confirm? I know you got it installed, hehe.) when running under Mask as Firefox mode. Exciting, isn't it? It's fast too!!! (Although, that's probably more thanks to Opera than anything.) Opera > Chrome again!The forums are still mickey mouse point-counting silly places, but I think I can live with that. I may have to retire from serious anti-Jive campaigning until the next version comes out to break things again... Hope I don't find any unexpected bugs, but it seems we can change the forum (decent) compatibility list to:ChromeOpera
Everyone, I encourage you to voice your opinions and (surely) disgust with Adobe's Customer Service. Voice it here, voice it in every single one of their forums, and voice it in forums all over the web - you'll find them, NO ONE ever has anything good to say about Adobe's customer service. I won't stop here, I'll find the appropriate channels and report this. Is it a known issue with our highly touted Jive Forum software that new posts to ancient (I.E. one, two, more year old) threads send the orginal thread post out to e-mail subscribers instead of the latest post?An example of the most recent incident of this for me was a post today to this thread [http://forums.adobe.com/thread/209449] that was started on March 6th 2009 sent me the following email of the original post, not the reply submitted today. I find this quite confusing as I use the e-mail as a primery filter on whether I am going to come to the site to answer a question or not.
