Bonjour,nous avons un projet en multi authoring sur SharePoint (contrôle de version). Nous avons bâti des Page principales et lorsque nous créons une nouvelle rubrique avec une page principale et que nous l'enregistrons nous avons toujours le message :Pourtant, il n'y a eu aucune modification à l'entête ou au pied de page.Est-ce que ça peut être un problème de toujours sélectionner le choix #1? Pourquoi ce message s'affiche s'il n'y a pas eu de modifications à l'entête/Pied de page?Merci!

This might be more of an iOS question than a RoboHelp question, but I'll ask once, anyway. A developer on my team redeployed Multiscreen HTML help output for an in-house app, but I keep seeing the old help output when I try to view it on my own iPad. I tried clearing history and website data in the Safari settings on my iPad and I uninstalled and reinstalled the app that launches the help output. I still see the old iPad help files, but the developer sees the new ones on his iPhone. I will peruse the web to find out if there's anything else I should do with my iPad settings. Thanks.

In my help output, I can see the glossary hotspots expanded by default when I initially open topics. How can I generate help so that they are collapsed? I want people to have to click on the glossary hotspot link in order to show the definition. I think the topic looks cluttered and confusing when the definition is displayed in the middle of a sentence. Thanks.

I have several files under File Status tab that have the status:  Doesn't exist.ADV.ppfpblsvrs.sssXML Output.sslADV = the name of my help project.  I output to CHM.  RH10What are these files and now can I fix, delete or remove from the File Status tab?

Hi everyone,I'm using Robohelp 2015 and have been compiling a project as Responsive HTML5.  It has been working great until today.  For some reason Robohelp decided to make my life miserable by not including the Azure_Blue css.It used to look like this...But now it looks like this...Any idea how to fix this and why Robohelp decided to do this?  Keep in mind that I haven't touched a thing in regards to css.Thank you.

Hello, is there a way to display the total number of pages in the footer of a generated Word document (page x of y)? I discovered the variable "page-number" that can be used in master pages, but is there something similar to "last-page-number"?

I'm using RoboHelp HTML 2015 to author user guides for software products.  My workflow for authoring often involves capturing and adding images as I am writing text in RH.  For example, I mightWrite several paragraphs on a topic in RHCapture a screen shot of the software product using SnagIt to save a PNG file into a project subfolder named Images.Return to RH and click the Image button to insert an image in Design view.This is the point where my workflow slows to a crawl, and I'm looking for suggestions on how to reduce the number of steps/click.  The next part of the workflow looks like this:In the Image dialog, I navigate to the subfolder containing my images and the new PNG file.Since I haven't used the new image in any project document yet, the file name does not show up in the list of files.I click on another PNG file that has been used, and manually edit the name to match the name of my new image file.Now the Preview window shows the new image, and I click OK to i

Using RH11.9.4.291I'm doing some Responsive HTML5 output, and testing the results for Desktop/Tablet/Phone by resizing the browser window, and I've noticed that;Images resize properly (yay!)Tables resize properly (also yay!)Images in tables don't resize at all (boo to this!)Any ideas?

I've noticed that tables don't resize when you view topics on a tablet or smart phone.I'm wondering...1. Is this a bug that can/will be fixed2. Is there a setting I've missed that makes the tables resizable, or3. Are tables incapable of resizing?

This is a little off-topic, but I didn't see an install forum.I am trying to install a trial of Robohelp 2015 onto a Windows 7 (64-bit) VM.  I have installed MS Office 2007 (Word only) and am running the Robohelp 2015 install (RoboHelp_12_LREFDJ.exe directly).  At first it had a hard time logging into my Adobe account.  That cleared up after running it several times.  Now, it gets to 48% ('Currently Installing Microsoft .NET Framework 4') and just hangs.  The time remaining keeps increasing, but nothing happens - it's up to 53 minutes remaining now).  Any ideas?

I am sure this has been asked before, but my search skills are not rewarding me.  My company is (finally) upgrading from RoboHelp 8 to 2015.  I'm using WebHelp with my existing style sheet from my RH8 project.I am finding that while my topics all look fine in Design view, the bullets and numbered lists are all indented far to the right in preview and after generating.Here is an example:Design view - all is well:Design view drop-down, looks OK:Preview and output - the paragraphs are all OK, but the lists move way over:Any idea of how I can fix this so that what you see actually is what you get?  If I just edit the style sheet to move the lists to the left, in Design view it's so far to the left that I can't see all of the text.I created a brand new project with no style sheet, and manually adding a bullet or number from the Edit tab, and the design view does look like preview.  If I add my existing style sheet the new project and use my lined up styles,  I get t

When I click any Import option (Word, HTM, merge XPJ), the browser window does not open to allow me to select files.  This happens on ALL import options.The RoboHelp screen freezes up and I get an error sound when I click any other option.  This requires me to press ESC in order to continue.The same error occurs when I use the Open file option from the RoboHelp started.  If I use Windows Explorer to browse to the project, I can open it.  If I click Open file, I get the same screen freeze-up and no browser.I am working via VPN.  The Import works fine when I'm connected to the enterprise server in the office.  Is there an option or setting I can select to enable the Open file, Import > Word, Import > HTM or merge options via VPN?  I've tried several different log-in options and reviewed by Windows file set-up and security.  I'm totally stuck.I am using Office 2010 and RoboHelp 10; our office uses Subversion, but the files are checked out prop

Hi, all,I've run into this problem with projects in the past, starting with RH 11. Once again, the font drop down is flashing when a topic is open, making it difficult to work. In addition, I noticed that the CSS stylesheet drop down field is flashing and shows "none", even though a style sheet is assigned to the topic (the assignment shows in both the properties and the HTML header for the page).Does anyone know of a way to fix this issue?

Hello,I am trying to use the PDF Review feature in Robohelp 2015. (Review > Create PDF).  The issue is that drop down text is not formatted correctly in the PDF. It displays like this:However, images within drop downs display perfectly. I have tried this with multiple topics, but it always comes out the same. Any help would be appreciated! Dawn

Hi,I use Adobe Experience Manager to host my RoboHelp files. Initially, all the RoboHelp files are uploaded to Adobe Experience Manager the first time. Because it takes so much time to upload all the files to Adobe Experience Manager, topic (HTM) files are then updated individually after the initial upload.Updating the search, index and TOC gets a little tricky. I used to use RoboHELP 2011 and simply replaced all the files in the whxdata and whdata folders to get the search, index and TOC updated. However, when I switched to RoboHELP 2015 and used the same process, I now get an error message and experiences issues with displaying the topic pages in the entire help.Which individual files and entire folders need to be replaced in RoboHelp 2015 to get the TOC, index and search updated?

Hello!After using RoboHelp and creating printed documentation for several years, today I cannot generate Printed Documentation anymore, and neither can my colleague. When we select Printed Documentation > Properties, we get an error message: The parameter is incorrect. The message goes away after I click OK and it pops up again several times. But, then, after I set the Properties and click generate, the output is not created and nothing seems to happen. Does anyone have any ideas what is going on? I tried deleting the PSS file (I found that idea on an older discussion), but it did not change anything. I also located the Normal.dot file and is not read-only, we have the user profile on our hard disc, without admin rights. Our admin, however, gets the same error message.

Background: I have created Responsive HTML5 Help using RH 2015 for a web-based application. I have organized the Hep by Role, then by pages users with those roles can access, and then by tasks users can perform on that page. In several cases, a topic is listed under multiple roles and for re-use and efficiency, I’ve just dragged that same topic from the topic list into the TOC where applicable.I’ve also used conditionalized text on the TOC level by role. Using the example below, I have conditions for Physician, Nurse, and Patient but I don’t think that’s part of the issue though. Conditionalized roles were created for filtering purposes. The issue: I have Overview topics that include hyperlinks to the topics in red in the example below for each role. When a user clicks on the hyperlink in that Overview topic, it brings them to the FIRST occurrence of that topic in the TOC, not the link that is associated with their role. We use snippets extensively in throughout multiple topics. Everthing works as expected when we build CHMs and WebHelp directly from the RoboHelp interface, which means the snippets are included in the output; however, when we build the same help (from the same projects) using the command line functionality, the snippets are not included.Anyone have a clue about why that might be the case?Thanks.

Hi all,Two questions about RH2015:-  Is there a way to change the interface of the Related Topics popup? I don't see how I can do this in the code. It's a bit small for my taste.-  How can I bring in my template from RH11? Will everything from my existing Project come into RH2015 when I open it in RH2015? (I hesitate to open existing projects until I see if there are any bugs in RH2015. I have also gone through the entire RH2015 manual, and I have to say I am very disappointed that they copied and pasted from the old manual, and a lot of the procedures and icons are incorrect.)Thanks,Pam

I upgraded from RoboHelp 9 to RoboHelp 2015 this spring.My company's products are SaaS cloud-based applications. I generate Web Help output for a product. I deliver the output to our Product Development team, who then commits the content and all RH output files to their SVN source control project. The help system is then deployed together with the application as a WAR file to a web application server. Context-sensitive mappings are maintained in a properties file.After a deployment to our pre-production server environment, it was found in QA that my web help content would not open using Internet Explorer 10. It threw the following message: "Object doesn't support property or method 'registerListener2' " and it references the whproxy.js file.The help file opens fine in Internet Explorer 11, Mozilla Firefox, and Google Chrome.I downloaded and installed the 12.0.3.428 patch for RH 2015. It did not resolve the problem.Can anyone suggest a fix?Thank you

I have a page where I placed numbered items (1. instructions...., 2.  instructions..., etc.). When I preview the page in RoboHelp 2015 the numbered list appears with numbers and everything looks good. When I view the RoboHelp output file, the page with the numbered items looks fine. I inserted a hyperlink to this page (page A), from another page (page B). When I click the link to the page A from page B, all the numbers for the list don't show on page A.The numbered list was created using multi-level number list icon. All lists uses a style.This problem doesn't appear on every page that was done using the same structure and formatting. As long as any of our RHelp authors are Updating an existing topic – checkout, edit and then check-in all is good, in that those changes are visible from RoboSource Client Explorer along with the history and other users/authors can see the changes made by any other author via RH2015.  However, when Author X creates a new Topic and checks it into Version Control, there are no errors on the checkin BUT Author Y can only see the original newly created page and not any edits that any other Author has created. Author Y can do their own edits but only the person doing the updates can see their updates and not edits made by anyone else. PLUS when viewing the DB/Project from the RoboSource Control 3.1 Client Explorer while logged into the actual machine where RoboSource Control Server is installed, Only the original copy of the new Topic/Page is visible with no history of the edits made by any author.Existing topics/page work as expected. (checkout, make edits, checkin) all updates/histor
