We've created custom Back and Forward buttons in a skin that appear in other help projects but when I import the skin into two specific projects, the custom buttons do not appear. when published as WebHelp Pro on the server. They do not appear on the Window Properties window to be selected. They do appear if I generate WebHelp output. They also appear when I view the generated WebHelp Pro project within RoboHelp. But the buttons do not appear when the project is published to the server. I have two projects where the custom buttons do not appear.I'm using RoboHelp 10 on Windows 7. After generating a PDF for review, there are a couple of images that are missing:A GIF that is a GPS 'point' and that is used as part of a list style.A note PNG that is used in a 2-cell Note table. The icon is in the first cell, the note in the second.Anyone have this experience and find a resolution to the problem?Thanks!Carol Levine

Our application uses Flash and one of the files allows a URL parameter to direct it to receive content. An attacker can exploit this by tricking a user into visiting a crafted URL making it look as though it’s our company’s content, but actually from the attacker.Further attempts to exploit this, such as with cross-site flashing, failed as only content could be displayed, but no code was able to be executed.

Hi Peter GraingeI am trying to open one .xpj file in RoboHelp 11 which was originally built in RoboHelp 7, but when I try to do that it asks me upgrade my file. Below are the details.So when I click on 'Upgrade', it gives me one Error pop-up (See the Error pop-up below).And now when I click on OK it gives another Error (See the Error below) So this is what happening. I am unable to open .xpj file. So could you please give me the solution.Its really urgent.

I'm using RoboHelp 2015. I have created a numbered listing using the numbered list icon. No problems. If I need to change the line to non numbered, I can click the numbered list button to remove the numbering and style, but the number isn't removed. Is there a way to fix this?Thanks,MDawn

Hi all,More of a best practice question really.In RH 2015, I have a lot of list procedures that have screen shots. Looks like I have 2 options with formatting the images either using breaks <br> to get the image to the next line without incrementing the number in the list, or creating a new P style that will have the image indented to line up with my list. The only down side I can see to using breaks is that Word output doesn't keep particularly nice before/after spacing as it just treats it as a line break. Not the end of the world but is there anything else I should consider? Or perhaps any other methods that people use? Sure this must be a very common issue.Thanks,Nick

I have some legacy topics with Drop-down Text, in addition to topics I've created, in which the Drop-down Text boxes (with text and/or graphics) do not work. That is, when you click on the link, either CHM or Web, nothing happens.I downloaded and installed van Weelden's link_to_dropdown.js file, which didn't help.Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

How can I have the title as clickable link?

My company has transitioned from Help-N-Docs to RoboHelp 2015.  I am learning RoboHelp and need to know if there is a way to convert the existing Help-N-Docs on our site to those for RoboHelp?  Is this a manual, page by page process, or can it be done all at one time?

I am working on a new project. I have three topics and I want to generate to the see how the output looks. Generating finished successfully, however no content shows. The screen in the browser window just flickers non-stop.Thanks in advance for your help.MDawn

- In 1st image (90% zoom), the topics are all displayed and you can navigate through with keeping the full view- In 2nd Image, (100% zoom), clicking any topic takes you from the full view to the sub-topics.I need to keep Image 1 view in different Desktop zooming..Any advice?

HTML file(RCPlateSections.htm) I had added to project before disappear from project manager. I confirmed the real file(RCPlateSections.htm)  is saved storage by checking Windows explore.Following is the status of project manager and the contents of FPJ file corresponding the directory includes target html file.I had tried to delete CPD file and restart RoboHelp. Hi,Currently I am using WebHelp output and the breadcrumb feature is available. But in Responsive HTML 5 output, there is no option to add breadcrumb links. Is there any other work around to add breadcrumb links in Responsive HTML 5 output?Thank you!Kshitija

The TOC navigation behavior in RH 2015 HTML5 is confusing to some of our application users. I need the TOC to be in "Book" view like "Clean Tangerine" in WebHelp. Is there another layout other than Azure Blue & Charcoal grey that support Book-view TOC?

Hi all,We're using a responsive HTML5 output for our help and I noticed there are no accessibility 508 options in the output like there are for WebHelp outputs. I don't see much within the Adobe Community about it unless I've missed something in my search (entirely possible!). Is anyone making responsive HTML5 output 508 compliant? I tried searching the forums, but couldn't find anything related. I apologize if this is a recurring item... I have just started using build tags for topic contents, and I generate a WebHelp system. I have a procedure (numbered list) that among other things contains a list of popups (field descriptions). When I apply a build tag to the text below the popup links, the last popup no longer works. I tried inserting som text (withut build tag) below the popup link, but this doesn't help. I have checked the HTML code in TrueCode, and the build tag does indeed start after the popup link. Has anyone encountered this problem before? Is there a way to avoid it? Regards, Rannveig Østevik

(Please forgive the lack of technical terms you are about to read.)In November (somehow) saved my project with a different name (I can't remember if I "Renamed Project" or if I just changed the Output Folder and Start Page).  After doing this I no longer have the xpj file for the new file. I have made substantial weekly updates to the new file without realizing the xpj file was not being generated. (The Language, Screen Layout, Skin Sub Folders are also not generating.)  How do I get an xpj file to generate for the NEW project? (If I could get the other files to generate again as well that would be fantastic too...but right now I am mainly concerned with the xpj file.)When I open the "old" xpj file I am able to see the most recent edits to the "New" file. No one else is able to open the old xpj file from any other computer though. My user cannot see the contents or search in the left panel but others can. I have had this issue before and I thought it was an active x or java issue.  We are using HTML 7.

Need training recommendations for learning how to optimize RoboHelp 11 features and employ "best practices" (if there are any) for our content development efforts. Our output is WebHelp. We use basic features such as pop-ups, links to external docs. We author inside RoboHelp.We want to make efficient use of RoboHelp features, but do not know where to start. Docs/training tell us what the features do, but finding little guidance on which features we might want to use to get certain outcomes. Hi ,I have observed that a broken code in the html page will get auto corrected when we view it in design mode. How to disable this functionality?My requirement is i need to have  snippets likeFirst snippet  :  <div id='snippet'>.........Text set 1  <!-- opening div in first snippet -->Second snippet : Text set 2</div> <!-- closing div in second snippet -->Current problem is when i save the first and second snippet and after viewing it in the 'Design' , a closing div(</div>) got auto created in the first snippet and open div(<div>) got created in the second snippet.Is it possible to disable this functionality of RH?Thanks,Remesh

Hi all,I'm somewhat new to RoboHelp and I need your help in managing monospace fonts and different types of fixed spaces in code samples.To be more specific: I have several code lines that display wonderful in FrameMaker 10 when set in a monospace font, such as Courier New or Lucida Console, as you can see below:However, as soon as I import them in RoboHelp 9.0.1.262, it looks like the the fixed character width miraculously vanishes and no matter what other monospace font I use, the result is pretty much the same, i.e. the lines (and "faux columns") are no longer aligned:I tried using the Frame object via Insert > HTML > Frame > Frame, but the result is exactly the same.Moreover, when I try to tweak the space amount by replacing the regular blank "&#160" with (fixed) en-dash spaces " " or hairspaces " " in the HTML source, as shown belowit looks like RH is not able to recognize the codes:So, did anyone face a similar challenge? Any idea about how to fix
