I was told to update my robohelp - checked, still couldn't save and check-in tried to rollback - the chalk.jpg was deleted instead-- can save but not really check-inmanually added a chalk.jpg file again - got back where I started.desperately need help!!!!Thanks in advance.

I'm not a Robohelp user myself, so please bear with me.  I've got a user who has a fresh install of Robohelp on her PC.  There is a website that she has created using Robohelp, but she doesn't have any kind of project file anymore.  The generated website does exist, though, and seems to be working fine.  Is there a way to import that site and its structure into a project so that she can resume working on it?Thanks!

I recently upgraded from RoboHelp 11 to RoboHelp 2015. When I now hover over the links within a keyword they sort of shake and create a movement. So, not when I hover over the keyword itself, but when a keyword contains multiple links to different pages, those links themselves visually shake. It can be quite hard on the eyes.Has anyone else experienced this? Would love any ideas as to how I might be able to mitigate this little glitch. Thank you!

Webhelp project was published using Robohelp 2015 as responsive html5 using the charcoal grey theme. When previewing the file before generation the Previous and Next buttons/icons were showing for all views (desktop, tablet, and phone). After generating the output though, the buttons are not being displayed.Does anyone have any idea why this is happening, and how to resolve it?Thanks in advance.

Sorry, I put my question in the wrong forumI'm working in Robohelp 8 and I have an existing Robohelp that I'm modifying.I have been provided a WORD document that's approximately 72 pages which has a table of contents that has bookmarks.I tried to setup a link to each topic that were bookmarked but it does not seem to work.   The previous link that I had setup in my Robohelp project, seems to take on the next link for a different topic that I had selected from the WORD document.Can this be done?Please advise.thanksSharon.

We are currently using Robohelp 10 integrated with TFS 2012. Our window/dialog level help topics match the name of the window and this is how the help at that level is called.  We would like to switch to Map IDs instead. Has anyone else made this switch and is it better for the programmers to feed me the IDs or for me to generate it in Robohelp and give it to them?

Hello ! It seems that MS Word is required to be able to produce PDF with the 'Printed Documentation' function... How should I overcome this, as I have no intention to purchase it just to properly use RH ...   Thanks !Pierre-Henri

Hi everyone,Not sure if this is a relatively common scenario. I didn't find a great deal after googling unless it was going from Robohelp to HelpStudio. Anyhow, I have just inherited a project which was created using the aforementioned HelpStudio (also known as Document! X). I would really prefer to avoid purchasing licenses for this tool and use Robohelp instead. Anyone dealt with this before that could advise me?Thanks in advance!

Will frameMaker 11 be compatible with Windows 10

When I create a document in Googles Doc and download as a PDF....I then select booklet for printing and the print size is so small you cannot read it.....I can't make the font size any larger or it won't fit on page.  I am using Calibri 14...I started with Calibri 11 and thought changing the font size would help....but it doesn't seem to matter....it gets a bit larger but not enough to be legible.

I have a page that scrolls when I preview it.  But, when I use View Primary Layout, there is no scrollbar.  Is this a known problem?

RoboHelp 11  Generating a Multiscreen HTML5 ,  When I generate my set of job aids I am getting a Stack Overflow at line 1 error when I click on any topic in the TOC.  I am working and generating locally.  I  read the other discussions about stack overflow errors but it looked as if the problems were with working on a shared drive.  MY project is not very large about 100+ pages.  Any help would be appreciated, thanks

How can I create page numbers for my printed documents in a Master Page setup ? I am using RoboHelp 11 .

I generated the Responsive HTML5 output and tested in on the iPhone and iPad and the topics look great. Is there supposed to be a TOC on smaller devices? Clicking any .htm file in my output folder displays the TOC on my laptop. The same isn't true for the smaller screens, just the topic displays. Can I create a link to the TOC for each topic? Thanks.

I'm pretty much a novice with RH, but have muddled through just about everything except the printed docs.  I did create a PDF in a previous version of RH (7,8,9)...not sure.  I have Word 2013 and have updated RH, but, here's what I get.  When I select printed Documentation, I occasionally get a 'Parameter Incorrect' error, but clicking OK, goes right around it.  In the first window, I get this:Empty TOC etc.  I click NextNow, this looks to me like I should be ready to go....but I click NextAnd here is where everything goes downhill:Now, when I originally created this entire piece, I selected the Microsoft HTML Help (CHM) function, however, when I did this in previous versions, it worked fine.  I am assuming since the 'section layout' is basically empty, there is nothing moving there?  Do I have to create this entire thing by hand?I've been looking in the forums, and the Help PDF, but cannot find an answer.  My best guess here is that something is

In a review of RoboHelp 2015, Willam van Weelden said "...scripts have access to the currently opened document. Scripts can modify text selection in topics and copy and paste selected content."I have tried to work out how to do this, but the RoboHelp object model seems to be very badly documented. Furthermore, the ExtendScript toolkit editor seems incapable of opening the full object tree in its Data Browser pane; it just locks solid for ages and then gives up. The ExtendScript Object Model Viewer is similarly useless, giving no useful information about data types etc.Can anyone give me some clues to the objects I need to access the content of the currently opened document? 

Hello,if I import Word-Files, which contain cropped Images, the Images appear in Robohelp without the cropping.How can I import these Images properly without modification?Simple direct copying works but this involves a great effort.Thank you in advance.Jürgen

I would like to print a full list of my topics, but I can't figure out how. I can't even copy and paste to a Word doc. Any suggestions?

We are using Rh v9 since long time and we now want to upgrade to Rh v2015. Which is the best option availble for us. We are not looking for Rh v11.

I would like to customize the phone layout in the multi-screen HTML5 output. Rather than launching a home page with options for index, glossary, and toc, I'd like the home page to be the TOC. There will be no index or glossary, as this is for a very small app. I just want to provide some quick help on a few screens.I saw the post regarding removing these elements from responsive html5, but I just want to remove them from the phone layout. I don't need all the multi-screens.Does anyone know how to do this?If not, do you have an alternative that will achieve the same goals?Thanks so much!  --Amy
