RoboHelp 2015Windows 7I have an older web help system last produced with RoboHelp v11. I made a copy of the folder that contained it, renamed the top folder, and opened it in RoboHelp 2015. Responsive HTML5 was not an output option, so I added it via the Create Output button. I then generated the RHTML5 help system and saved the content. There were a few expected issues with the layout, but RoboHelp 2015 hangs and does not save the additional output type. When I restarted RH2015 and tried to reopen the Help file, I first had to delete the .cpd file.I can edit the topics and make layout changes, but if I try to delete an output type I have no need for or add RHTML5 to the list, it hangs. I can add RHTML5 and generate before it hangs. Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong?I would like to pull this older Help system into RH2015 and convert it to the look and feel of a RHTML5 Help system I created from scratch. The original system was created at least 5-6 years ago. I'm not sure what
When you right-click the Skins folder, and select Import from the Web, you go to https://creative.adobe.com/addons. Once there, you can type "Robohelp" or "skins" in the search field, and nothing comes up. Not too much luck on Google either. What did Adobe do with downloadable skins? I'm looking for webhelp non-animated skins, if that helps. Thanks!
Hi all,I work on a team of six using RH9 and VS'12 as our source save. It seems to be only my account that has the following problem, so I wonder if it isn't some setting in my instance of RH or VS:I make changes to a RH topic, both text and image changes, or to a shared file, like the Glossary, and then save/check-in. When another user accesses it, they perform a 'Get Latest' and unbeknownst to us all, my changes don't appear for that user and other users. When I open the topic, the changes show for me in both RH and VS. The other user goes back in, does another 'Get Latest', but still does not see my changes. It only happens periodically; not every time I make a change (so perhaps it is something I am doing?). Our workaround has been to have someone else copy/paste the image file, make the change for me, etc. But, as you can imagine, this is time consuming, frustrating, and dangerous; we can only fix what we happen to catch!Any help is much appreciated.
Hi All:I have long ago given up single sourcing from FM into RH and am now generating my guide directly from RH. I've started tinkering with the track changes, which is fairly handy in that it does not spray the content with formatting change indicators. However, I can't seem to get the printed output to have the changed text look differently than the normal text. I *can* if I use ctrl-P and print to PDF within a topic or if I use the Review menu's Create PDF for Review. Then the changed text has the color/pattern to indicate that something is different. I would rather *not* use the Review menu option since I need to tinker with it in Word first. I can export it to Word from the PDF, but all the styling is garbled. Has anyone found a way to get the track changes style to appear in Word output? ie: single source printed output with Track Changes indicated? PeterGrainge

I had an existing topic for which keywords had been entered.Original topic name: "Submitting Purchase Orders to Non-Ricoh Vendors"New topic name: "Submitting Purchase Orders"I changed the topic's Title and File Name accordingly...(See "Toshiba" listed below for this topic)When I generate the project, the Index still shows the old file name...What do I need to do to get the filename to update in the Index? Thanks!Tim

When selecting a portion of a displayed topic to copy using Crtl A for the whole topic or highlighting a portion of the topic, if the text contains an expanding definition, the copy will include the expanded text. See below for the definition of offshore and operator. (the highlighting is mine). That must be deliberate on the part of Adobe, but not wanted in my case. Can it be turned off? Is there any other way to copy?I notice that printing a topic does not include the expansion (d) Except for offshore Beyond the line of ordinary low water along that portion of the coast of the United States that is in direct contact with the open seas and beyond the line marking the seaward limit of inland waters. pipelines, pumping equipment must be installed on property that is under the control of the operator A person who owns or operates pipeline facilities. and at least 15.2 m (50 ft) from the boundary of the pump station.

Hello, everyone.I am trying to embed a Youtube video in one of the topics of my CHM file.It was working perfectly so far, but now it displays a script error everytime I open it.I am using Robohelp 9 and I want to export it using Microsoft HTML Help (CHM file).Below, you'll find the message displayed:I don't know how to solve it, because I cannot upload videos directly to the topic (company rules), I have to embed all of them. I also don't know what this URL is referring to.I will be glad if you can help me to solve it. Thanks in advance!

Hey all,During my latest project overhaul (1100 pages, touched everything to correct styling and changed incorrect file name / title matching, I had a thought about numbering. After 500 pages or so, It get's old having to click the multi-level list button, restart numbering at 1 and apply the style. Is there a shortcut for setting numbering back to 1 for faster numbering edits? Thanks!
Why can't I print my document?
I'm using RobHelp 7.0. I'd like the .CHM output by RoboHelp HTML to have a different name. How can this be done? I know that .CHM filename is based on the the project filename. (.XPJ)What I've done:1. Open the Project2. Select File > Rename Project3. Project Name, I typed in the new project nameThen I did:1. Select the Single Source Layouts Pod2. Right-click the Microsoft HTML Help. Select Properties3. Select Output Folder and Filename, I typed the new name for the .chm file)When I compiled the file, I still see the old .chm filename. I checked the !SSL! folder and the new file name is there. What did I do wrong?
Does RoboHelp10 offer natural language search mechanisms after project is published?
When we go to publish our changes for a project, it is publishing the whole project which is taking a substantial amount of time. Is there any way we can just publish the changes only?
I have created a CHM file via the Generate CHM from WebHelp function. Everything, including the context-sensitive elements works as planned. However, when a topic is called from the application via the F1 key, the topic appears in a window that does not contain a TOC pane.Is there any way to display the TOC on individual topic windows?Thanks-Lauren
I am no expert in Robohelp having picked up support for our product's help fairly recently so I might be missing something obvious to experts here. However, I had a project in Robohelp 8 and upgraded to version 11. The upgrade seemed to run fine and I could generate my HTML help file. But when I open the file, while I do get the correct default topic the window caption is incorrect. It actually uses the same caption for all help topics. I am also missing the Contents, Index and Search pane. I compared my generate options to those in version 8 and everything looks exactly the same. Help!
How do I add a robohelp 11 project to version control where we have subversion but not RoboHelp SharePoint Connector?I created a new project and selected File, Version Control, Add to Version Control. The only option I have is RoboHelp SharePoint Connector. It does not give me to option to point directly to the repository server. We do not have RoboHelp SharePoint Connector. We have Subversion on our new server but we do not have PushOK. Can we use version control with subversion and not using PushOK?
I think it removes the styles from all the topics in the project but am looking for confirmation. I think it was deleted by one of our RoboHelp 2015 users and when they realized it, copied it back in. I can't think of another reason why all the topics in the project would lose their styles. Is there another reason this would happen?
When my help file opens, I am taken to the Index page and none of the hyperlinks work (TOC does not work and I can not open any help files). I have published before with no issues at all. When you use the search bar, find and open a topic, all of the links and everything work perfectly how they did before. When you check the console in Chrome it says "Uncaught ReferenceError: gTopicFrameName is not defined"It seems to be a RoboHelp error. Is there a TopicFrameName property in RoboHelp?Thank you
I'm looking for a way change the font of the show all help topics link in RoboHelp 2015. Is there a way to do this?
New to the forum, but I didn't see anything specifically that addresses my question. Background: I work in a two person shop. We use RoboHelp 2015. Our developers use GIT and now require us to check in our files similar to their workflow. We use GITeye user interface to work with the GIT repositories. Issue: The web help that gets cloned from GIT is stored in the GIT directory on my C drive. However when I try to publish WebHelp back to this folder, it goes to a folder called RoboHelptoGITModifed. I've tried changing the file path to the Help file folder in the GIT folder, but I get an error. Has anyone else experienced this? If so, how did you get RoboHelp to publish to the GIT folder or what did you come up for a workaround?
On a topic page, I have references in my H2 elements pointing to H3 level items to serve as a sort of TOC within the topic page:<h1>Installation</h1><h2><a href="#Windows">Windows</a></h2><h2><a href="#OSX">OSX</a></h2><h2><a href="#iOS">iOS</a></h2><h2><a href="#Android">Android</a></h2><h3><a name="Windows">Windows</a><h3><h3><a name="OSX">OSX</a><h3><h3><a name="iOS">iOS</a><h3><h3><a name="Android">Android</a><h3>Obviously, it's over-simplified here for demonstration purposes, but in essence, the end user that looks at the public facing help files can click on the Heading 2 element, and it will automatically scroll down in the page to that particular OS installation instructions. My problem is that the first H2 element is visible after the H2 elements and could confuse end users...I
