Hi,I have an issue with the scroll bar. I want to remove scroll bar from the multiscreen HTML 5 output. I want vertical but want to remove horizontal scroll bar? This means the screen should be fixed. Can someone help me in resolving this issue?

Member  in our work group use RH 11.  If a new member order RH 15, can all members work on the same files?

Two of the three master pages contained in my project have disappeared from the Master Pages folder in Project Setup.  They are still "assigned" to the topics where they have been used, and those topics look fine, but I am unable to select them when creating new topics.  When I look at my local project files, I see them in the folder for this project so they are not completely gone.  I did try to re-import them into the Project Setup, but got no results.  How do I get them back into the Project Setup so they are available for use?  Thanks!

I am experiencing extremely slow printing of pdfs in Acrobat Reader DC. I print from an HP Office Jet 8610 and I did not have this problem printing from XI Pro or Reader. I see that there are many complaints regarding this issue. Have there been any solutions?

I'll be meeting with a developer tomorrow to discuss possible solutions for the Browser history issue, where calling RoboHelp using the CSH JS API creates an entry into the browser history (for IE, at least), and then clicking Back recalls a CSH Help topic instead of taking them to their previous page in the browser. It appears that I will need to spoon feed them a solution in order to get a fix implemented. I understand scripting enough to muck through HTML, but I will definitely need assistance. The developer has told me this so far: "The events that are causing it to be an issue are that the project is sitting out on a file system (rather then web) and second that we are using an IE4 browser, the combination invokes an 'iFrame' instead of a pop-up window and stores a history record in the parents browser history." This doesn't quite make sense to me, unless the iFrame is the "IE 4 browser", because they've got us all on the same patch and same version of IE 6 at the company. Als

I just upgraded from Robohelp 11 to Robohelp 2015. We normally generate our output in the Webhelp format, but I want to try Responsive HTML5 to take advantage of the Dynamic Content Filter feature. After converting my project and customizing the Responsive HTML5 settings, I've tried generating the output. When I open the output after Robohelp generates the files, Internet Explorer crashes/stalls, and a message pops up at the bottom of the browser stating that the "The webpage is not responding due to a long-running script." When I open the file in Chrome, I do not get this error, but the project lags and starts becoming unresponsive if I click around enough. I've tried tinkering with the Responsive HTML5 settings and even going back to the defaults... but I can't seem to get it to work. Oddly, out of the 15-20 times or so that I've tried generating the project files, one of them seemed to work... at least better than the other times. I have a master project that houses external links to many projects (over 70) and all index entries combine to create a master index for the help system. After I upgraded to RH2015 and I have generated both the sub-project and the master project, the keyword/subkeyword relationships have disappeared. Index entry keywords are listed without any subcatgories although the project has them. Like this:So, now I have a giant list of keywords without the indentations to delineate the keyword groups. I did much of the index by hand using the Topic Properties and the "keyword\subkeyword" format. Has that delimiter changed? Anyone know or have the same issue? Am I missing a simple setting some place?I've been through the What's New and Forums here, but am not seeing anything.Thanks in advance.

I had a PDF document which had to be converted to a word document( as I had to edit some content). As we  don't have a PDF converter, I decided to import the document into Robohelp and generate a  word document. But all the pdf pages were converted to images when I imported into Robohelp and generated the printed document  all the content were displayed as images.(I was unable to edit the text in Robohelp as well).How should I do it. Please help.

I am using RoboHelp 2015 to generate HTML Help. In my tri-pane window definition, I DO NOT have the Browse Sequence check box selected. When I generate HTML Help and view output within the RoboHelp interface, the browse sequence does not appear. However, when I view the CHM file outside of RoboHelp 2015, the browse sequence pane DOES APPEAR in the tripane window. Is this a bug? How can I get the browse sequence to NOT appear? We are using RH 2015 and would like to know how to create a link from a context sensitive help topic to jump out to or launch the output TOC accessing all help topics. In other words, the generated webhelp output. I've seen this done before but do not know how it was done.

I use RoboHelp 11 to create AIR help. My AIR file is digitally signed in RoboHelp by specifying the certificate file and entering a password. However, my company requires that I only use a certificate that is installed by the company in my PC's Certificate Store. There is no longer a file or password for me to enter into RoboHelp. Does anyone know if there is a process for doing this? Can RoboHelp (2015 release) allow this source for a certificate?- Kent

RH11 Version 11.0.0.179My company just redesigned their website and the Home button on the CHM now throws the following series of errors.  If you click 'Yes' to continue, it will eventually launch the website, but in a mobile view.  For instance, it has a menu button instead of the menu items across the page.Script Errors:These are all Line:0, Char:0, Script Error### Links to js files removed.Then you get:Line:6Char:31Error: Bootstrap's JavaScript requires jQuery### Links to js files removed.Followed by:Line: 5Char:1Error: 'jQuery' is undefined### Links to js files removed.The website is www.epis.com.Any thoughts on how to fix?  Is this something the web designer needs to address?Thanks,Jonell

One of our RoboHelp 9 projects is not opening up with the TOC open on the left.  It does have a link that says "Show", but the preferred opening would have the TOC already expanded.  All other projects open this way.I do have the box "Show Navigation Pane Link in Topics" under the Navigation page of the WebHelp settings. I matched all webhelp settings with another project that is opening correctly.What else can be done?Deanna

Every time I try to generate a PDF for review, RoboHelp 11 shuts down. I've tried all different ways, locally, send as an email attachment, send for review. Show files in Project Manager, Table of Content. I've tried sending it to a shared server. Everything come up with a problem in RoboHelp looking for a solution which it never finds and I have to shut down. Need help big time! Thanks

I'm using RH 9 and I have a CHM output.We redid our intro page and it is markedly different in style from the other pages. It doesn't have a master page.It has a dark background from its css.But all the other topics have a standard.htt master page and they have a white background from their css.I'm trying to figure out how to control the breadcrumb style on the initial page so that it respects the style sheet of the current .htm. The Breadcrumb comes from the layout definition:You can see the breadcrumb here in the top right is a nasty blue color. Yuck. My other pages it looks fine because the background is white:Ideas on how to style the breadcrumbs on just that page?I know the workaround here is to probably remove the above check box and instead apply the breadcrumbs inside the .htt header. But I'm working in a source repository and that change makes a change to all 1400+ htms that use the standard.htt, and I'm trying to avoid that.

I have RoboHelp 11. I recently upgraded from FM 12 to FM 2015. After the upgrade I can not import FM books (12 or 2015) into RoboHelp. On import, I get the message "This operation cannot be completed without Framemaker. Install Framemaker and try again".I've tried re-installing both FM 2015 and RH 11, but problem continues.

I was happy to see the Show/Hide widget in the RH 2015 Azure Blue layout. I assume it invokes the expansion/collapse of the DHTML content on a page. However, I have not successfully implemented it! What is the correct procedure? Edit the Topic (Default)] in the Azure Blue layout.Select one of the Text Box divs  (This is probably the issue. Where should the widget be inserted?)Select 'Dual State Show/Hide' from the widgets menu.Save the project and generate the Responsive HTML5 output. it is unsuccessful.One of two things happens:  Either Help system will not launch--the loading graphic does an endless loop, or the system launches with a damaged TOC. The instructions say to disable auto save, deselect "Save Without Prompt" in the General tab, but that option no longer appears in RH 2015. Is it now deselect the "Check in all files when closing the project"  in the Version Control tab??

RH2015 - After generating user help via Responsive HTML5 output, no vertical scroll bar is appearing on topics longer than the screen length. I am also unable to click in the topic and use the down arrow key to view entire topic contents.

I've generated an HTML5 output and I would like to add dynamic content filtering on it.However, I've tried but it didn't work. I would like to understand step-by-step how to configure this feature. Maybe you'll know a guide or something, because even in Adobe material I didn't find anything.See my steps:1st - When generating a responsive output, I enabled the option "Use DCF in the output".Next, I clicked "Customize".2st - I filtered by menus (because that's the filter I am creating, by different menus of a software).At last, after I've generated it, the output shows up the filter icon. RoboHelp 9 is creating two entries for every single topic in the Search tab. One link is correct, the other gives a "This page cannot display" warning. This behavior began recently after making a copy of the entire file to begin a new phase of the same project.I've searched a great deal online for an answer (including P. Grainge) and have tried many approaches suggested. From generating a new .chm to a different folder, up to and including trying to edit the various system files, such as "projectname.hhp." (In this file I found topics duplicated, but editing out the duplicates made no difference.)I would greatly appreciate suggestions.I'm running Windows 7 on a 64bit OS.
