Hi,Can someone show me where a list of releases/patches for RH and the release notes would be?I am current on the version of RH released, but I would like to find out when the last patch was applied and what it covered. I searched everywhere but must have missed this important information.thank you!
do we have a patch to remove cross site scripting issue from webhelp made using robohelp 9? The issue is robohelp 9 is not available and i am using robohelp 11. Any patches for that ? thanks.
Hi,I was doing some testing for TOC display errors I've been having in Chrome:WebHelp generated from RH11 has empty navigation panes when viewed in IE8, 10, 11, and Chrome. Any solution other than g…The TOC navigation pane is sometimes blank when viewing my own project in Chrome, locally, and usually, doesn't even display the first time I launch my project by clicking on the index file. If I click on my table of contents button, the TOC displays. I tested a sample project and I found these issues with Chrome:Project; SalesBuilder 2, webhelp. No changes were made to the sample.1. Search doesn't work unless I refresh the browser and it occasionally displays ,but sometimes doesn't display even when I refresh the browser. (by doesn't work I mean clicking on the search button does nothing!) 2. Repeatedly switching between content categories causes the navigation pane to suddenly be blank.3. When search doesn't display, it's almost always followed by an empty na
I have a publication that is made up of various sections embedded into other sections. The publication was generated from an .hhp file inherited from Help and Manual. I would like to turn some of these sections into child projects while retaining all of the existing links amongst the projects. Below is a sample of the publication structure for the purpose of illustrating this discussion. (For example, I would like to turn the section titled "What is System Five" into a child project). Any help would be much appreciated. I am working in RH11. Thanks!Gabriela
Actually have a couple of issues. We have a number of projects with lot of outside links so I found out that if I import instead of just converting everything looks fine. Takes a little more time because the TOC and Index have to be set up and all the topics need to be imported but the Webhelp output looks fine. This method works with all the projects but one. The problem project has spreadsheets that have to be made in excel and updated in alpha order a couple of times a month..on top of that it has lots, and I mean a huge amount of external links (over 100,000). First, I can't import it each topic in HTML....it locks up RH. I tried converting the HTML doc back to word and that locked up too. So first issue is how am I going to get the project from RH Word to RH HTML without causing RH to stop responding for hours. I know it is because of all the links. Some topics are 25 pages long and a few thousand links. Next, even
Hello,I am trying to create a merged help in RH 11. I am able to add the .chm child project to the master project (see snippet below). However, when I generate the master project, the child does not show. Is there an extra step after adding the .chm file to the master to allow the child to be viewed in the output? If yes, what is that step and how is it done? Thanks.(I should probably add that I have looked at Peter's recommendations re: setting up the merge (Merging WebHelp - RoboHelp 9 and 10). I am not sure, but from reading the instructions I suspect that the step I am missing is generating the .chm file. I am not sure how this is done. If this is indeed the step that I'm missing, please explain how to generate the .chm file after adding it to the master.)
I am using Robohelp 9, but will be migrating to RH11. In both cases, when I navigate in Robohelp to the folder that contains my Robohelp project, I can see folders, but the files in the project do not appear. The files do appear for one of my associates on her computer. Also, the various RH projects do not appear as they do on hers.
Hi,My team is facing an issue with the WebHelp output generated using RoboHelp 11 (11.0.1.235). When we try to open the Output in IE 10 and IE 11, they work fine. But, when the Dev and QA teams try from their machines, the pages are just blank. This issue continues after integrating the Help with the application. The Dev team uses a RoboHelp patch (a .exe file) to perform the integration. Can anyone guide us on what is causing this issue? We are not quite sure if it is because of any settings or configurations or because of the patch used by the Dev team. We tried deleting the cache and history on IE.As we have a release coming soon, any help will be highly appreciated.Thanks.
I am hoping that someone can provide a simple solution for publishing problems that I have been having with responsive layouts when trying to publish multiple sites with conditional builds. Essentially, I want to be able to have an index page which contains links to one of two variations of the published sites which I called "general" and "specific". When I click on the "general" link I want it to open the site that was published using a conditional build for all of those topics tagged as "general" and when I click on the "specific link" I want it to open the site that was published using a conditional build for "specific."Here are the steps that I took to create the sites and can't seem to get it to link properly:Table of Contents, Topic Creation and Tagging ContentCreated a Table of Contents.Added 2 topics to the Table of Contents. The first topic I called "general" and the second topic I called, "specific".I then right clicked on the "general topic" and selected Apply Conditional Bu
I am new to RoboHelp and I have version 11. The premise is that I have inserted a map of the United States and I have placed and image map for each state to direct them to the individual state's topic I have created. But I want to customize each state's table of contents. Is that possible? If so how is it done? Any help is much appreciated.Thank you.
I specifically "upgraded" to RH11 from 8 to resolve this issue. I have installed update 4 (11.04.291) and installed another patch from this location: WebHelp issues in RoboHelp versions 10 and 11RH11 is installed on Windows Server 2003 R2. I am merging projects, a parent project and 2 child projects, using the redirect very helpfully supplied on Peter Grainge's website, and am adding the MOTW to resolve issues with customers using IE enhanced security and am manually changing the MOTW from <!-- saved from url=(0014)about:internet --> to <!-- saved from url=(0017)https://localhost --> (see previous post Navigation panes empty with Internet Explorer Enhanced Security enabled). I have also tried generating the WebHelp without the MOTW with the same results.Despite having the latest version of RoboHelp with the latest patch (as far as I have been able to find on the Adobe website), the navigation panes are still empty in any version of Internet Explorer that I have (8, 10
I want my help window to operate just like Adobe's RoboHelp help: to open to what is essentially the phone resolution (including having the navigation controls at the bottom), but allowing the user to resize to typical desktop configuration. I tried just selecting Screen Profiles > Phone to my Screen Layout, but that produced bad results. I had to reimport the screen layout, because I could not seem to set it back to Desktop. I'm on Windows 8 and using RoboHelp 11.0.4.291 and a custom screen layout.Ideas?

So I have horrible stretched pictures How can I solve this problem?Does somebody maybe know it?Cheerio,Denis
Do I need Roboserver if I purchase Robohelp if I intend to host help documents or release notes...
Recently upgraded from RH10 to RH11 and now I noticed that all my inserted bookmarks show up in the compiled file (web help) as non-working hyperlinks (underlined and blue).See the image. They should not appear as hyperlinks. Can someone tell how to correct this?
I'll be generating WebHelp through RoboHelp 11. Can I successfully import an API document written in Markdown?
WebHelp generated from RH11 has empty navigation panes when viewed in IE8, 10, 11, and Chrome. Any solution other than going back to RH9? (This thread - https://forums.adobe.com/thread/1830443 - didn't help.) Thanks.
Every Filedialog has a combobox showing the recently selected filenames. But when I select a filename just via this combobox, the "Open" button does not get active.Win7x64 / RH11 / SP4
Hi, I am using Robohelp HTML 8 and publish project to Robohelp server 8, I using the webhelp pro to publish, then I view the project from the IE browser , everything works fine, except that, when I click on the search tab, the text box is not coming out and I am not able to type and search. I am not sure where I did wrong, anyone has any ideas? thanks
I am using Robohelp to convert MS Word documents to SharePoint ASpx pages. It works well in relation to the conversion of documents and graphics, but my issue is that I do not want to use the Robohelp help frame (toc/index/search etc), I just want the basic apsx pages and their associated images that were embedded/ now linked. How can I turn off the frame feature?ThanksSimone
Hi - two questions for issues I'm working on after recovering a Robohelp project. Background, lost my hard drive and backup. Using my published webhelp and an older backup, I've merged them and cleaned up graphic issues. I'm down to a couple of things I still need to clean up. Note, after this happened I upgraded from RoboHelp 7 to Robohelp 11.A number of pages have the old topic templates, which have been replaced by master pages. How can I update all these topics at once? I know I can find individual topics, or select multiple topics and apply the correct master page, but it would be great to apply it to all at onceI found a number of URLs which are incorrect. I thought there used to be a way to replace the URL once, and have it update all related URLs at once? As you can see, there are a lot of them...
I just updated to RH 11.0.4.291 (Windows 8.1) and discovered a couple of issues with Responsive HTML5 output I hadn’t noticed previously: opened locally in IE 11.0.9600.17728, then clicking a topic link to display a PDF file in the viewing pane, there is no escape from the PDF file occupying the viewing pane. Clicking any TOC entry, any Index entry, running Search…nothing will replace the open PDF in the viewing pane. There is no “X” and there is no apparent way to escape. The Home button doesn’t move it, even the IE11 back arrow has no impact. This occurs with all PDF files (I tested this head-slapper with well over 30 different PDF files). The same project output as a WebHelp project? Everything works just fine as expected.Am I missing something here?Opening the Responsive HTML5 output in Firefox 37.0.2, all the generally accepted escape routes work. Thanks for any suggestions and confirmations.
I have been using RH7 and Map IDs. I have upgraded to RH11, but I cannot figure out how to get my Map IDs to work. In RH7 it was a simple URL call, .../roboapi.asp?Context=Map ID What would the call be in RH11?
Is it possible to change the order of items that are found in the nav bar? I would like to create a custom button that is to the left of Contents. Thanks for any help!Steve H
The current solution is to use the following in the CSS.div.options { position:relative; width:100%; left: 860px; padding:2%; background:transparent !important; However, this solution locks the icons to the right and they do not move when the window is sized:Is there a responsive method I can use to accomplish my goal?I am using RoboHelp 10.Thanks - Dan
