I have used the student adobe package for over a year now and was just billed for renewal, but it was over $100 more than my last billing. Did my student discount expire? Does it only last for a year? I need help!

@Melissa32989619yg4m student discounts are not perpetual, you need to validate with your plan Admin at the school and have a valid email ID.

I am currently verified that I am a student though Adobe.

if you manage your own plan (vs your school managing), contact adobe support. there are 2 ways to contact adobe; chat and twitter (now x):
chat:
use a browser that allows popups and cookies
and click here, https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html?rghtup=autoOpen
in the chat field (lower right), type AGENT
be patient, it can take quite a while to reach a human.
twitter/x:
tweet @AdobeCare
p.s. if you're contacted by anyone (via email or private message), it's much more likely to be a scammer than an adobe representative.

If you have taken a subscription of Creative Cloud all apps for Students and Teachers, you got for the first year a super reduced plan. And for the second year and each subsequent year, you get a reduced plan of about half of the regular price.

Melissa, sorry for any confusion, but @Abambo is correct. You still receive a discount during the second year from a full Creative Cloud plan membership, but there is an increase in cost. Please see https://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/global/graduation-education-discount-expiry.html for more information.
If you are still actively enrolled, please bookmark the document, Melissa, as it provides information on validating your status per @Kevin Stohlmeyer 's suggestion above.
Finally, if you would like to discuss this matter with a human, then please follow the suggestions offered by @kglad and click on https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html?rghtup=autoOpen to open a secure chat session with a member of our support team.
