Can I disable the request to use liquid mode in the Android app. It asks me every time I open a document. It is so annoying.

Where was this acknowledgement? I've seen nothing helpful and I've seen nothing that I would consider acknowledgement. Could you please direct me to this because it is still an major annoyance, and a flaw.

The option to disable liquid mode completely is highlighted to the engineering team, and it will reflect in the upcoming updates.
I cannot guarantee a specific date, but this is in the pipeline and will be implemented soon.

Thank you. I've hated this feature for so long. Liquid mode isn't even good.

Hello Xavier,
Sorry for the delayed response. I totally understand your concern and thus we have shared the feedback to the engineering team to work on it.
Thanks,
Souvik.

Just checking in if theres been any news regarding this issue. You would think Adobe would just disable the pop up permanently. Seeing as theres so many complaints.

@WelderGuy Hi,
This feedback has already been shared and the changes are in the pipeline to be implemented soon.

@Paladin67 Hi,
I understand that you would love to know the exact date when it will be released. However, since it is in the development phase, I cannot yet provide you with a definite time frame.
Thanks,
Souvik.

" should be " ? and what about now - what about the screens on every device I own that are messed up now ? What about the automobile that I can not drive because it can not be controlled now ? What about my credit since things are not being properly paid now ? I never purchased , purposely downloaded, or even knew about any liquid or wave program. This needs to be corrected immediately, not worked on with a hopeful outcome. To date the financial cost to myself has been extreme. Since my automobile is infected , life is at risk as well any time I get into my car.

You've responded to an answer that I posted 9 months ago.
I feel all of your frustration, but I am not sure why are you routing your discontent through me.
I am an Adobe customer like yourself and I am helping other customers here outside of my real life work as a voluntary contributor.
There are two ways I would sympathize with you:
Go talk like that to your government with the same tone like the one you are addressing to me here and see what happens.
Go and complain directly to your employers, your software giants CEO's, stock holders, your state representatives, or senators, your vehicle manufacturer, the insurance policy holders.
Go and see what happens to you if go and talk like that to those who may have forced you to take a vaccine without knowing what the hell was in it or else you would loose your job.
You wanna vent like that?
Then go to Twitch or Twitter and don't single me out here in these public forums when all I am trying to do is help other frustrated customers on my own free will and time out of work.
You complain about being rude?
Well, here's the great punchline:
Nothing is going to change!
I've been awake for the past 28 years, and absolutely nothing that you brought up to my attention here is any different from the same human nature behind the same authoritarian software that have ruled technology since the mid 1990's through present.
The sooner you make peace with it the sooner you will be less stressed out.

Liquid mode is nuance and a tool to data mine. Stop pushing this garbage on us. If I wanted liquid mode I would intentionally click the button for it. Adobr at least owes us usability after years of anticompetitive behavior.

This feature is currently in the pipeline for development and the team is working to get it deployed at the earliest.
I request your kind understanding and patience.
Thanks,

Hello Souvik,
It has been several months since your last update, and this annoying feature is still present. I would like to reiterate previous posters' requests to remove this pop-up notification altogether or at least provide a "don't show again" button. I am a paying Acrobat user and this is interfering with my productivity.
Thanks,
Matthew

Every time I see this popup and see that it has taken almost a year to address, I consider canceling my Creative Cloud subscription.
I'm an Android software engineer with many years of experience including shipping apps with comparable numbers of users and complexity as Acrobat. So I am a bit baffled at how hard it is to ship this.

This is a very loud prompt. Knowing how software companies work, I imagine there is a software engineer or product manager whose promotion is tied to the number of taps that dialog box gets.
Did they get promoted yet? If so you can probably turn the dialog box off. Impact realized!

Hi,
In which Android device or Android OS version are you on that you still see the loud prompt and no option to turn off the Liquid Mode preference?
As @S. S suggested earlier, you can switch off the preference to start Liquid Mode automatically.
See slides below:
I just switched off that preference with a single tap and the slide below clearly illustrates how my selected document pops up:
NO LOUD PROMPT.
Is your Adobe Acrobat Mobile app fully updated to its latest version?

Thank you ls_rbls, it's taken way too long for this to be fixed and I'd stopped using acrobat for android. I wonder when they finally fixed it. Thank you for letting me know.

You're very welcome.
And all kudos to @S. S who originally made this suggestion and I took his advice.
I am not sure if that request was fully implemented yet, but it seems to be working fine with my Android device.
I can also download any new PDF from the web that hasn't been viewed or opened before with the Acrobat mobile app in my device and it doesn't acts up with the loud prompt.

Hi @Paladin67 ,
That is not an Acrobat Mobile app issue.
The go here is that you are on a newer version of Android OS with an Acrobat Mobile app version that is also reflecting two or more updates behind.
In which case, you must update the app and also manually force an update of the Android OS for that device to make sure that its kernel is also reflecting its latest version.
After the updates are applied (both on Android OS and the Acrobat Mobile App), you may also want to tap on Settings => Battery => Device Care => Optimize.
If there are any background apps that need to be put asleep, allow the Device Care optimization to do so, then follow with a restart of your mobile device.
See if this helps.
You should be able to see the disable liquid mode preference in the settings dialog window.

Thanks for trying but it didn't help. It took ages to get an updated beta apk because the play store wouldn't update anything. OS is latest from 27 May. Still no disable liquid option. Still really sux. But thanks for trying

This is exactly what preferences looks like on my Pixel 8 as well, almost a year later. Adobe is not interested is letting users disable this ridiculous popup that appears every single time you open a PDF. It appears the only solution is to use a different PDF viewer. Adobe does not seem to prioritize user experience.

Hi @Shantismurf,
Sorry for the experience!
Would you mind sharing a screenshot of what you see on the preferences page?
If the options appear differently, I would like to get it highlighted to the dev team for further investigation.
Also, the Android version, along with the Acrobat app version, would be helpful.
Thanks,
Souvik

Hi Souvik, nothing has changed for me since I originally posted the thread, so why would anyone bother. It is obvious to me that it is a waste of time and any 'efforts' to lead me to believe otherwise are futile. Here is my Samsug Galaxy Tab S7+ (SM-T970) with Android 13. Still no option in preferences:
Unlike my Samsung A31 running android 12 which has such an option:
Good luck. M
