I have subscribed to the Adobe suite but find myself in difficulty when I have to manage the location of saving documents.
My typical workflow on Android 14
I take a pdf from OneDrive. I open it in Acrobat.
When I have finished working on the file I need to save it in the source location. Here the pains begin.
Is there a way to do this?
Is there a way to do this without saving a duplicate in Acrobat?
Last question. The log of recent files does not match the source of the files that give rise to the list of recent files. In other words, when I delete a file from the recent list, do I delete the source of that file?
Thanks

I hope this message finds you well, and thank you for reaching out!
In order to assist you more effectively, could you kindly provide a short video recording of the steps you're taking that lead to the issue? This will give us better visibility and help in diagnosing the problem more accurately. Additionally, please share the version of the Acrobat Reader mobile app you are currently using. You can find this by tapping on the profile icon and selecting About Adobe Acrobat.
Regarding your query on file deletion, please note that if you delete a file from the Recent list, it will also be removed from its original source location. If you prefer to remove it only from the Recent list without deleting the file itself, you can select the option to Remove from Recent.
Looking forward to your response!

Hi Amal,
I figured out how to save the PDF file to an external location after editing, now only two questions remain.
App version: 24.9.3.35572

Hi there
the small icon as shown in the screenshot attached indicates if the file is stored on the device locally or on the Adobe Cloud
Also, using the option 'Remove from recent' only removes the file from the recent list, it will not delete the file from the source location.
