I updated the Adobe app for iPad today, and now images fail to display in the PDF I was reading.
I have tried killing and restarting the app, and I have tried rebooting the iPad.
Neither resolves the problem.

Looks to me that the graphics non-display issue I had has been fixed! Yay!

Hi I'm having the exact same problem: images in PDFs that always opened fine suddenly stopped tin some PDFs . Not all but some includind some new PDFs I just received which open fine on my windows laptop but not on my iPad Pro. Seems to have been since the 24.08.00 update last week. Is it possible to fix or go back to the previous version at all?

Hello, same issue, only on the iPad version.

Same issue. None of the teams that use iPads can go through their workflow.
Are there any workarounds on iOS?

I downloaded the App "PDF Expert" today and it opens everything just fine.
You can also link it to your OneDrive etc so I'll use this free app for now , may not have to come back to adobe at all now, it even lets you edit the pdf's and it's free.
No sign of anyone from Adobe on here yet?

"PDF Viewer" seems to be a fine alternative. No new account or payment required, and easy access to the PDFs previously viewed on your iPad with Adobe.

Yes that may be a good alternative too.

Same issue on my iPad Air 13-inch M2, iPadOS 17.5.1. Adobe Acrobat Reader V24.08.
In preview, images are seen perfectly.
Open In Adobe Acrobat Pro (licensed), and the screen is white.
Search, and the search moves to some new location -- but screen is white.
You realize: the free preview is working better than the paid product.
How is that a thing?

Same issue here. Had Adobe Reader on one iPad updated to 24.08, then had the image displayed as some texts issue. Had Adobe reader on another iPad on version 24.07 and image displayed fine. Updated it to 24.08 and image displayed badly too. Definitely something not working properly in version 24.08. Please help to investigate and fix! Thanks.

Adobe,
Since it is taking so long to, presumably, fix, test, and release this issue, why not, in the meantime, just rollback to version 24.07?

Same issue here. Adobe support's response (after 7 different chat redirects) stated the ios product is not meant for large pdfs and then redirected me to sales - although I have a full licence / subscription.
All we see are blank pages where the images should be. Its only on the iphones and ipads, no issue on web, Windows or Macs.

Did they say what they consider to be a large file? I've got a 700 kb file that opens blank in Acrobat Reader for iOS. I don't consider that a large file.

I had said it happens to different sized files but mentioned some larger files used to present to potential clients have recently stopped being usable. It's very repeatable and even on a freshly built iPhone / downloaded the software to it.
It seems very much like it's the app, not the files or their size!

I had a large file that used to be visible in Acrobat Reader, but just about two weeks ago I was unable to read the very same file. Based on that, I don't think the problem is the size of the file but rather a recent change in the software that has disrupted Acrobat Reader's previous capability.

Agreed.
Today has taught me to never use the support chat again. Managed to screen grab the conversation as they wouldn't send it to me. Then being redirected to sales was the icing on the cake.

I have an open support ticket with Adobe at the moment who tried to tell me there isn't a problem. I've referred them back to this thread to review. They shared another smaller thread with me, so I've linked this thread in the other one so hopefully we get noticed.
Once the ticket is concluded, I'll report back!

Hi Everyone
I was shocked when I went into my Adobe App yesterday to only find that no images were showing up on several of my Pdf Quilt Pattern which I was saving to make next year. I hope this issue will be solved sooner rather than later by the amount of messages I am reading since the last update I guess. Help, not good for this pensioner. . Lyn

Just as extra information this problem is ongoing for me also. As creative professional I would love to hear an update and timeline on a patch and fix?

It has been almost 4 weeks since I reported the problem and still no update.
As a software professional myself, I'm aware that it takes time to verify and fix an issue, and that it can take a week or more for the AppStore to release a new ersion, but this length of time doesn't speak well for Adobe's handling of the problem.
At the very least, they should have been able to rollback to the previous release.

I agree - if the fix cannot be made in a reasonable amount of time at least revert to the previous version in the Apple store so that the App is at least useable.
