Video Download and Sharing Error, regardless of web browser.

Community Beginner ,
Dec 19, 2024 Dec 19, 2024

I have been working on a video for a few weeks that I need to download, but I keep getting a nonspecific download error. I have tried in the App, in the Google Chrome browser, and in the Microsoft Edge browser. I have also tried to Share the video to both my Google Drive and OneDrive to download from there, but in both cases I get the error message "failed to render." I need this video ASAP as it's for a work project.

Hey @Jessica32092787tmfi

Welcome to the community! We're sorry to hear about this. Please answer a few of the questions before we proceed. Do you get this error only for this specific project? Can you download files in other formats (PDF, PNG, JPG)? Can you download any other video file to see if the issue lies with this specific file or if it's happening with all projects?

Also, can you share the file with us to investigate further? If so, please drop the URL privately in the community DM.

Regards,

Amitej

Sorry the email alerting me to your response went into spam. To answer your questions:

I only have one project, so am not sure if it's the program or my project causing the error
I cannot download the video in any other format. I am happy to share a URL but am not sure how to do so privately.

This is for a work project so time is of the essence.

Actually, I was able to download it as a PDF just now. Obviously this is not ideal for a video file but does show the downloading works.

In addition, I just made a screen recording of the project (to reduce file size and get rid of individual transitions/animations), uploaded the screen recording into Adobe Express, added the music file I used, and am getting the same error when I try to download. I then tried to delete the audio file and just download the video I uploaded (with no edits) and am STILL getting a download error. This seems to be an error with AE specifically where long (1:56) videos is concerned.
