Hello, everyone!
We are making some updates to Adobe Express. As part of this, older versions of Adobe Express, Spark Page, and Spark Video will no longer be supported, and the minimum system requirements for mobile devices are changing.
What you need to know!
Note: Migrated Spark video projects will no longer be editable but can still be downloaded. They will also be exempted from the Adobe Express storage quota.
Starting today, you may see pop-up messages about this update on your iOS or Android device.
The new app now requires at least 3GB RAM and iOS 17 or Android 10 to run.
We know change can bring questions, and we're here to help. If you have questions, please reply to this thread. If you'd like to learn more about these updates, here are some important links:

Hey @Chrisy_Tingle2464, thanks for reaching out! Can you please specify which platform are you working on, is it mobile app or the web app? And from where are you trying to upload the media, is it on the editor canvas or is it on the express homepage?
It'd be great if you can share a screen recording with us, so we can understand the workflow better and assist you.

Dear Adobe Express Team,
I hope this message finds you well. I wanted to express my deep disappointment with the recent update to Adobe Express. I have been a loyal user of the old app for six years, and I truly loved it. Unfortunately, the new app does not meet my expectations and has made my workflow quite challenging.
I find it difficult to perform even basic tasks without having the old version installed, which is frustrating. This situation is particularly disheartening as I risk losing all my work from the past six years.
I appreciate your attention to this matter and hope for improvements in the future.
Thank you for your understanding.
Best regards,
Vanessa

Hi Everyone,
I’m sorry to hear the update has made things difficult, @vanessa. To help preserve your past work, please try exporting or backing up your projects from the old app before fully switching to the new one. This can prevent any loss.
If you find basic tasks harder now, feel free to share specific issues—sometimes we can offer workarounds or tips to make the new app easier.
Also, as @John T Smith mentioned, you can get more detailed help and connect with other users in the Adobe Express forum here:

We’re listening and hope to improve your experience soon!

I truly miss the old version. There's just so many bugs on this one. One of my biggest issues is selecting multiple A jokes there's just not an easy way to select all with just a swipe whereas in the old version I could've done that and grouped and move things around together with this one is a big challenge selecting individual objects and at times you miss one the selection process is not as precise as the old version

Updated- and was initially excited- but everything that made the previous app most usable - seems to no longer be a priority?
Is there a way to access the previous version?
This new one is so frustrating in every measure. And I've given it every single patience.
PLZ help.

Literally EVERY. SINGLE. FEATURE. And ACCESS to said feature is OVER-COMPLICATED.
why do I have to tap four times and scroll to search, for a feature that used to be at my fingertips?
why is even creating a new project so much more complicated I close the app?

I know Adobe is profit focused- now seemingly more than ever, (why so desperate? Who competes with you sis?)
but what made your name is mass notoriety, the less accessible your basic tools become- the further you will fade.

To anyone with a "shut up and be grateful" attitude - yes, even a free app makes one a customer- I'm giving you my data and various permissions for free as long as the app is on my phone.
that is very very valuable, whether you realize that or not- because it makes someone else money. In perpetuity..

At this point- with the other free tools available to people- with the RIGHTS AND PERMISSIONS (again in perpetuity) you demand to simply use your services- AT MONTHLY SUBSCRIPTION cost to the customer- (Adobe got in :sparkles:early:sparkles: YALL), GET BENT. Capitalist mindset will ruin this company- and it was built for people without it. BOO!

Creativity should not be made more inaccessible EVER- only more accessible, especially by you. A child should be able to use this app, and I mean that.

Hi @carole_3091, Welcome to Adobe Express Community! Thanks for posting here.
We hear you and understand that it can be tough adjusting to a new version, especially when the old one felt easier to use. Unfortunately, it's not possible to switch back to the older version of Adobe Express.
That said, we'd be happy to help with any feature you're stuck on or even guide you through the new version.

The old version was great! Why did you have to change literally everything and now you're about to lose alot of users. I have no idea how to navigate the app and editing or creating something has become a major headache, and I know there's more people that agrees with me on this. If you want to keep users happy, please revert back to the old version.
