Adobe Express: Storage full?

Adobe Employee ,
Apr 24, 2024 Apr 24, 2024

Hello everyone!!

If you have received a message in Adobe Express that you are
  1. Running out of storage or
  2. Have already run out of storage,

Then, you may need to permanently delete some of your assets to free up space in your storage.

Note: You must navigate to https://assets.adobe.com/deleted to manage your storage and permanently delete assets.

You can follow these steps to manage your storage:
  1. Navigate to https://assets.adobe.com/deleted
  2. Go to Files > Deleted
  3. Click … on any asset
  4. Click “Permanently Delete”
  5. Confirm that you want to permanently delete the asset

Stay tuned. We are actively working on adding functionality to Adobe Express that will allow you to manage storage within the Express platform.

Hi @default36844015gkotx1

Sorry to hear about your difficulties. All these areas count toward your storage quota

https://assets.adobe.com/cloud-documents
https://lightroom.adobe.com/libraries/
https://acrobat.adobe.com/link/documents/files/
https://new.express.adobe.com/your-stuff/files

Could you check if you have files in any of these locations? You might also want to check https://assets.adobe.com/deleted

It is saying that I need to update because my storage is full. However, I deleted over 20 projects and it is still saying that I have no storage space. I am confused as to why it still says I have no space.

Hi @default3689043247beil,

Thank you for your patience, and I'm sorry you're having trouble.

It may be that your Creative Cloud storage is full. You can free up your Creative Cloud storage by deleting unused files.

The example below is how to check how much storage space is left.

Please let me know how things are going, as I'm here to support you in any way I can, and looking forward to hearing from you.

Hi! I keep getting this red pop up at the top of my Adobe Express saying "Your storage is full. Remove files to free up space or upgrade your plan to keep creating" I went ahead and deleted all my files but the red storage bar still remains there despite having space. Is there anyway to get this removed? Thank you so much!

Also, whats with being able to select projects in adobe express and then theres nothing you can do with them after selecting them? Photo attached.

Please try clearing your cache and cookies, signing in and out of your account or testing it from a different browser or in incognito mode and then try to free some space up again.

If you are unable to use Adobe Express (Adobe Photoshop Express) due to "out of space" issues, it likely means that the storage space on your device is full or nearly full. Adobe Express, like many other mobile apps, requires available storage space to function correctly and perform tasks such as saving photos or applying edits.

Here are some steps you can take to address the "out of space" issue:

  1. Check Available Storage: Go to your device's settings and check the available storage space. On both iOS and Android devices, you can find this information under "Storage" or "Storage & Backup" settings.

  2. Delete Unnecessary Files and Apps: Review your device's files and apps and delete any unnecessary photos, videos, or apps that are taking up storage space.

  3. Clear Cache: Some apps, including Adobe Express, may store temporary files or cache data on your device. Clearing the app's cache can free up some space. In your device's settings, look for the "Apps" or "Application Manager" section, find Adobe Express, and then clear the cache.

  4. Move Files to Cloud Storage: Consider moving your photos and videos to cloud storage services like Google Drive, Dropbox, or Adobe Creative Cloud. This can free up space on your device while still allowing you to access your files when needed.

  5. Use External Storage: If your device supports it, you can use external storage options like microSD cards (on Android devices) or external storage accessories (on iOS devices) to expand your available storage.

  6. Update or Reinstall the App: Make sure you are using the latest version of Adobe Express. App updates can sometimes optimize storage usage. If the issue persists, try reinstalling the app, as it may resolve any potential glitches.

  7. Check for Other Storage Issues: If you've tried the above steps and still have storage issues, there may be other underlying factors causing the problem. In some cases, it could be related to system updates, system files, or other app-related issues. You may want to seek technical support from Adobe or your device's manufacturer for further assistance.

Remember that managing your device's storage space is essential for maintaining its performance and functionality. Regularly cleaning up unnecessary files and managing app data can help ensure smooth operation and prevent storage-related problems with Adobe Express or any other app on your device...........

Has anybody solved this yet?

I have this same issue from both my PC and laptop. My device memory is not full. My account memory is not full. Its not a cookies/cache issue.  I would really love access to this feature and have not been able to access it either.
