Bridge 2023 mouse issues

Hello,

just installed Bridge 2023.

- Scroll + ctrl does not resize thumbnails.

- "Additional Side Back button" of my mose does not send me back.

Both "features" worked with 2022. Therefore I downgrade. Well done, Adobe.

Regards

Jakub

And it's back. Second monitor used for Bridge. When reviewing images in full screen mode then returning to thumbnail/folder view my mouse disappears. Only a restart of bridge brings it back. Issue was fixed in prior update and is now back with 13.1.0583

I can confirm all these issues also for Windows 11. Just updated my Logitech Options, but didn't help...

Come on, Adobe, fix it please.

One Month after the First Report? Are you guys kidding? Paying that much, and than this slow reaction? I think this is obviousley the Middlefinger towards all our faces. Thanks for noting!

That kind of Problem had to be done after one day. We are all working. We have no time. That thing is so much more expensive. I cant understand this narrow-minded business practice. Over and over angain.

Hi, @Elias16B8 unfortunately, any change you make in software has repercussions.

A test period is needed for the fixes to make sure they do not create other issues.

If you are working on a production machine, a basic workflow recommendation is to configure your Creative Cloud application in order to disable updates, and not uninstall the previous versions, and wait for dot fixes before upgrading any critical piece of software...

You can reinstall the previous version of Bridge: https://helpx.adobe.com/download-install/using/install-previous-version.html

I have the same problem with the mouse and the back button.... I never thought that such a small change would get me so upset.
Drastic cut in the workflow and ... actually in my entire work life balance and my life philosophies.

Same issues with the side buttons of the mouse not working for forward / backward between folders. Giant inconvenience when you go in and out of folders as much as I do in my workflow.

Let me know if anyone else is experiencing this one: I have dual monitors, I used to be able to hit the space bar on a file in Bridge to preview it, I could leave the preview up for reference on one screen and move to work on a task on my second screen, mouse back over to the first screen hit space again and it would close out the preview and continue letting me browse in Bridge as normal. With the new update I can bring the preview up but once I leave to go to the second screen I have to manually hit the bridge icon in my toolbar before it will let the preview close out with the space bar. Again very frustrating when working on a workflow like mine with lots of back and forth and none of the short cuts you're used to are working. Those additional steps add up throughout the day.

I also have this issue.  I didnt know how to, nor want to take the time to figure out how to explain it, so thanks!

These issues are getting ridiculous!  Pay hefty subscription costs so we can constantly make you adjust how you work.

I'm still angry everytime I have to make two extra steps to save a JPEG (Save a Copy) in photoshop.

@Parksite Karl This change (Save a copy) was mandated by Apple, and for consistency, applied on PC.

the idea is that a save as should provide only formats that support all the elements of the image, Adobe had allowed users to save a 16bits file with layers to jpeg directly, but some users did not realize that they were losing some features, could not recover layers, etc.

In your preferences>File Handling (CTRL+K, CTRL+6) check "Enable legacy "Save As"  to get the behaviour you are used to. (but pay attention of what you do)

I can confirm both issues. This is an absolutely necessary feature of Adobe Bridge!
