P: Generative workspace doesn't work

I have the latest update of Photoshop beta installed. I have checked if my firewall was blocking the application and it is not. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Photoshop beta 2 times. I have checked my computer for viruses and it is not. After all these attempts Generative workspace, which was working perfectly at first, is still not working.

Hi @luraes first let's see what version of Ps beta you have. Launch Photoshop beta, and select Help >System Info...and copy/paste the text in a reply.

Try resetting Prefs for the Beta:
/Users/yourname/Library/Preferences/ Photoshop Beta Settings (Mac Ventura)
/Users/yourname/Library/Preferences/Adobe\ Photoshop\ \(Beta\)\ Settings (Mac)

Launch BETA Photoshop While Pressing The Keyboard Shortcut
With Photoshop closed, press and hold Shift+Ctrl+Alt (Win) / Shift+Command+Option (Mac) on your keyboard and then Launch Photoshop the way you normally would.

Another helpful thing would be to record a video of what happens when you try to open Generate Workspace so the team can see what you are seeing.

Hi

I am having a problem with Generative Workspace. Up until recently it was working fine, but now it won't open. I have removed PS beta and logged out, logged back in and reinstalled and it still doesn't work. All I get is the 'spinning wheel' - nothing else is 'clickable' (eg the cog icon). I have PS beta running on two machines and it isn't working on either, so I am guessing there is a problem with my account. Can this be resolved? Thank you in advance

I’m experiencing an issue with the in Adobe Photoshop. When I try to open it, the screen loads, but then I see a spinning hourglass, and after some time, I get the following error:

"There is a problem with the page - Try again later. You can also:

Open in a new tab
Refresh the page"

In small text, it says:

Error Code: Out of Memory

I’ve already tried uninstalling and reinstalling Photoshop Beta, but the issue persists. Has anyone else experienced this or knows how to fix it?

He encontrado una forma de salir del apuro pero GW sigue fallando. Cuando inicies GW dispones de aproximadamente 2 segundos para cerrar la ventana del prompt (a veces ni siquiera esos 2 segundos) porque luego no se puede. Si lo consigues el programa se desbloquea inmediatamente. Es eso lo que bloquea a GW pero no sé por qué.

We've escalated this with our engineering team, and they're actively engaged on working to fix it.

Your screenshots and detailed descriptions have been very helpful. We haven't yet been able to reproduce it, which is making it hard to track down. But we know from your reports this is a critical issue, and we're trying to reproduce this issue on our end so that we can fix it.

We understand for some of you, nothing inside the Generative Workspace window is clickable.

If some controls in the window do respond to your clicks, please try this:

Click on the Settings (gear/cog) icon in the top right corner of the Generative Workspace window to show the menu
Select "Reset preferences"
Then reply here to tell us if you're able to click "Reset preferences" and if this helps to bypass the endless loading spinner issue and continue using Generative Workspace.

Seperately, please let us know if you've used or uploaded Reference images in Generative Workspace before you started encountering issues. Or if you're seeing this issue and have never used Reference images in Generative Workspace. This will help us try to reproduce the issue. And as Cory mentioned, please upvote this thread (the number at the top of this page) to help us prioritize it.

Como ya expliqué en su momento el problema se produce porque la venta de prompts y/ó los archivos de referencia bloquean el programa. Cuando lo inicio, desde el momento que aparece la venta de prompts con un texto escrito dispongo de 1 ó 2 segundos para clickar en la "X" de cierre y si lo consigo el problema desparece inmediatamente y todo vuelve a funcionar. Si no lo consigo tengo que cerrar GW y volver a intentarlo hasta que lo consiga.
Ahora me pasa menos veces que hace una semana pero me sigue ocurriendo. Muchas gracias por su esfuerzo por encontrar una solución.
