My Computer has now repaired and I have successfully accessed Creative Cloud but on downloading Photoshop and Lightroom this appears to be only a trial version.
How can I now download the version that I have purchased rather than a trial version.

Make sure that you had Signed in to Creative Cloud using Valid Email ID using which you had purchased subscription.
If not refer below link and Sign out from Creative Cloud and Sign in again,

Hi
Thought it was OK but regret I am still getting the 'Trial' window coming up even after carrying out the procedure you suggested and licensing it through the trial window. In Photoshop It does tell me I have 00 days left each time even though it seems to be continuing to work and in Lightroom, 30 days. I am using Windows 8.1
Hope you can assist further.
Regards
Bob

Hi
There are no Adobe entries in the Hosts file. The whole file is as follows:

# Copyright (c) 1993-2009 Microsoft Corp.

# This is a sample HOSTS file used by Microsoft TCP/IP for Windows.
#
# This file contains the mappings of IP addresses to host names. Each
# entry should be kept on an individual line. The IP address should
# be placed in the first column followed by the corresponding host name.
# The IP address and the host name should be separated by at least one
# space.
#
# Additionally, comments (such as these) may be inserted on individual
# lines or following the machine name denoted by a '#' symbol.
#
# For example:
#
# 102.54.94.97 rhino.acme.com # source server
# 38.25.63.10 x.acme.com # x client host
# localhost name resolution is handled within DNS itself.
# 127.0.0.1 localhost

Sure , let me know if you face any difficulties,
As you had performed System Restore process , there will be conflict with Licensing files or other Database files.
Hence I had provided the steps to clear out old license files.
Once you remove those , new files will be created .
This is typical scenario with back up installations, System restore process. In these after back up or restore some of necessary files will not be restored properly or they will be missing or corrupted.
We will check with above steps once,
