AvSbgl please remember that the U44M1P7 error only means that the installation has failed.  If you would like to post the errors from the relevant installation log I would be happy to review them.

Jeff ... I understand that you are very busy with all the single discussion here in the forum and that you can´t rembember all single discussions. But please - do me a favour and read all my posts in this certain discussion here and you will see again that i did post the link to my log-file allready and that i did wrote very clear what i think about the reasons for the countless posts about problems with Adobe Cloud and updates and all the post from unsatisfied customers here in the forum. And that i am very dissapointed about the policy, allways just to see the reason for the problems on customers side instead to consider that there maybe can be big problems on adobes developers side.

My membership will end in may. And - as i wrote - i will not renew it. And i just can hope that a lot of unsatisfied adobe-customers will go that way too. That maybe can help to bring Adobe back to see the worth of satisfied customers. And i repeat myself again - I pay 60€/month for software that helps me to do my job. And not to spend hours over hours to fight with software-bugs. My time is my money.

And maybe i should mention, that i am a loyal Adobe user since 2001 and the problems started 2 years ago with my change to CC. And now its enough.

Hi AvSbgl,

If you still cannot install CSXS Infrastructure patch for CC applications. can you try these steps?

1. Check current C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\CEPServiceManager4\CEPServiceManager.exe's version by right click > Properties > Details > File Version. Please tell me the version.

2. Send me a screen snapshot of CEPServiceManager4 when you show it in Windows explorer.

You can send to weiguo@adobe.com directly.

Thanks

Hi weiguo ...

thanks for your message.

Without any changes or activities from my side the updates went through without any problems (except PS - but after pc-restart that failure message was also gone). That happened allready last Sunday morning (Germany time ...). So i guess Adobe developers could fix that problem ... and i really hope the time of facing problems with adobe updates in CC will be gone (after 2 years of frustration and a lot of waste of time for me ...)

Hi fliplip1,

Please tell me your OS information. Windows 7? 32bit or 64bit? Is lauguage Germany?

Could you please try these steps?

1. Restart computer.

2. Make sure there is no prerelease of any CC application.

3. Make sure Adobe Creative Desktop application is latest version 1.3.0.322.

4. Install patch by Adobe Creative Desktop application again.

5. If the above installation fails, launch one of Photoshop CC, InDesign CC, InCopy CC, Illustrator CC, Premiere Pro CC or Prelude CC, open Help > Updates. Try to select individual patch and install separately. If CSXS Infrastructure STI 4.0.2 patch still fails to install due to U44M1P7, please try below steps.

6. Check installer log file "Adobe CSXS Infrastructure 4 4.0.2 ***.log.gz" in C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\Installers\. If you see something like this, you need to manually fix zlib1.dll. Please attach this log file.

    01/03/14 09:59:15:711 | [ERROR] |  | OOBE | DE |  |  |  | 3660 | DF022: File corruption detected. Re-install the product & then apply the patch again. (Pre checksum mismatch for file "C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\CEPServiceManager4\zlib1.dll")

7. Check current C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\CEPServiceManager4\CEPServiceManager.exe's version by right click > Properties > Details > File Version.  Please tell me the version.

8.  Take a screen snapshot of CEPServiceManager4 folder when you show it in Windows explorer. Please show all files and their name, data modified and size. Please attach the screen snapshot.

I saw this error on my Win7 x64 machine.  I tried over the course of several days and had the same error with seven different updates.  The log files complained about the CSXS infrastructure component.  I decided to reboot, and that fixed the problem; all seven updates succeeded after that.

I wrote earlier that the latest update from Adobe for CC failed.

Since then I have read a lot of comments and several suggestions how to receive the update.

I had a lot of other problems with CC and had to turn off and on constantly. I decided to carry out af test via the computer supplyer. DELL. Final result was a SYSTEM CHECKUP which have been carried out succesfully and by IOLO SYSTEMS (throught DELL).

I gladly paid USD 50 for 12 month service. Hope this might be helpfull to some of you.

For those continuing to face difficulties applying the update can you please try the solution offered in Error 213:19 | Problem has occurred with the licensing of this product | Acrobat X and XI - http://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/error-213-19-licensing-acrobat.html.  If you can please post the results of apply the three solutions available within this document it would be appreciated.

sorry, but english is not my native language ... so just for my understanding: should we try that way in any case? Even if there are NO problems with Acrobat and just the error U44M2P7 still appears when we try to update app´s like (in my case) ps, indesign, dreamweaver, illustrator, prelude and premiere? thanks beforehand ...

No AvSbgl please only try these solutions if you are facing difficulties applying the Infrastructure update.  Our Engineering team has reviewed the installation logs and we believe the solutions available in the referenced document should resolve the issue.
