Legally purchased CS6 serial revoked
First of all, I am so glad I never gave in to the CC subscription model. Seeing what an absolute nightmare Adobe support is turning out to be I will be super hard pressed handing over another dime to Adobe.
I recently purchased a new machine, deactivated the CS6 suite on my old one, and installed my LEGALLY–for top-dollar–PURCHASED CS onto my new machine. Upon entering my serial number however, I get an error message telling me that my license has somehow been revoked.
I have been in contact with Adobe’s ‘support’ for hours on end for well over a week now, and was promised a resolution within five business days. This is after I was criminalised for having a ‘non-genuine product’ and send to a page that explained that this error message crops up when buying an illegal copy of CS. It is now well over seven business days and I have yet to hear back. I have full proof that I purchased my CS6 and all previous CS versions before that legally to hand over, with all software being registered officially, yet Adobe does not care about this. They send my support request from team to team, without any solution or getting back to me.
Nowadays I mainly design in Sketch and Framer X, but have to resort to Adobe products every now and again for old projects and third party deliverables. And of course at this very moment, well last week actually, I need to open old project files for me to continue working, rendering my business to a halt for this project.
As an ultimate solution I now seem unfortunately forced to acquire a pirated version of a software package that I paid multiple 1.000’s of dollars for over the years in order to continue working. This is absolutely outrageous Adobe!
