PANTONEブックに載っている色が Illustratorのスウォッチに表示されません

また、もともとPANTONEのスウォッチは全色が提供されていません。

以前はカラーマネージャーとして有料提供でした（今でも販売されてるみたいですが）。

PANTONEのFAQページ（https://www.pantone.com/color-finder のFAQをクリックしたところ）によると

という質問に対して

Within Adobe Creative Cloud, the last update made by Adobe to the Pantone Color libraries was over five years ago. As a result, default Adobe applications are over 800 Pantone Matching System® colors, and nearly 5000 Fashion, Home + Interiors Colors.

という回答になっています。over five years agoというのがいつの時点のことなのか分からないので、訳すのをあきらめました。

解決方法としてPANTONEが提示しているのは、Pantone Connect Extension for Adobe Creative Cloudを使うと常に最新のコレクションが得られるよということらしいです。詳しくはPANTONEに聞いてください。

単に近似の色成分だけを知りたいのであれば
