P: Compare View on 2nd Monitor shows no image on Zoom.

After LR Classic 13.0 and update 13.0.1 Lightroom is behaving weird on my second monitor.
Before I could use the compare mode on the second monitor when in the develop module on the first without any issues.
Could zoom in and out on the comparisons.
After the update this behaves odd.

Sometimes it will zoom in and out as before but most of the time it doesn't and one of the selected pics for comparison won't even show (just black) or sometimes even zooms in at a different percentage compared to the other. This only occurs when in the Develop module.

Switching from Compare to Loupe on the second monitor sometimes won't work either - display goes black.

When I switch to the Library module on the first screen there's no issue.

I've got a very robust Windows system with 32 GB of RAM and a NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Ti 8GB of RAM which before (v 12.5) just did the job without any trouble.

Seems like Adobe rushed to do this update but forgot to test it thouroughly.

The bug is affecting my second monitor also. Any attempt to zoom in geater than 100% results in a blank screen or an enlarged image shifted down into the lower left corner of the display. I have an NVidia GTX 4070 in a brand new MSI Aegis R. I just upgraded the driver (Game ready) today and there's no change. I then loaded on their new arts and graphics dedicated driver and still no difference. It only goes away if I turn off  the Graphics Acceleration. It has to be related to LRCC's use of the graphics accelerator.

I am also experiencing the problem of the screen going black when zooming in on the second screen. it actually zooms in to the wrong place - the image is magnified out of view at the bottom left and the view is of the black space to the top right of the image. Additionally, and this is not mentioned in the other comments on this thread, the image turns rather redish orange when in Develop mode on the second screen. when I reverse monitor functions the problem stays with Lr Classics second screen - ie the problem moves to the other monitor. Uninstalling 13 and reverting to LrC v 12.5 the problem disappears.

as stated in subject.

in some cases, not always, second the quality on the secondary Monitor is extremaly bad.

in some cases 100% view works partially, but the screen shows only the upper or lower part of the picture. Can't move to see the upper or lower part.

This was introduced with the latest major update. 13.x

I too have the same issue as everyone else on this thread.  Second monitor loope-view zoom in the develop module only works on the bottom left quadrant of the image (I suspect that some who are getting a completely black screen are clicking on the upper right portion of the image).  Using Lr 13.0.1, Windows 10 with Nvidia GeForce GTX 1070 and latest drivers.  Like others, the problem goes away if I disable graphics acceleration and it wasn't there until the 13.0 upgrade.

Further to my earlier post, I observed that loupe zoom only works on the bottom left of the image but it seems that is only for landscape images.  For portrait images it only works on the bottom right of the image.

Oui, cela fonctionne. Le fait de désactiver complètement l'accélération graphique permet de récupérer la focntion zoom sur l'écran secondaire. C'est un bug avéré en V13.0.0 et en V13.0.1

I have to agree!

Not being able to use two monitors makes this version of LrC unusable for me. When will a solution be available?

Unfortunatly this has completly screwed up my workflow and I've had to resort to using a different product and a painful work around to get work out. My machine is acting exactly how @Job56 describes. I really hope they sort this quickly, as it is a complete nightmare at the moment.

If you disable gpu acceleration all works fine, admittedly slower but at least it works in the interim.

I turned it off and turned Gpu for image export off too. Restarted, turned them on and restarted again. Now the second monitor works like it should.

Sadly that hasn't worked for me. The only thingthat makes the second monitor work correctly in the Develop module is having Use Graphics Processor set to "Off".

Unfortunately, I have it off. I tried to do the GPU off and export off and did the restart a few times. always the same results. GPU on always sends image off the screen.

when it's off, it works just fine

also- Nvidia GeForce GTX 1070 with the latest update.
