P: If I have parenthesis in file path, post-processing action doesn't fire up

I just updated both Lightroom Classic and Photoshop to the latest versions (11.1 and 23.1)

I'm in Lightroom and I have an export action that ends with opening the current image in Photoshop (see screenshot below)

If the folder path where the image resides has parenthesis in it (even just one bracket, actually), Photoshop fires up but no image is open.

Could you please look into this?

I observe the same problem on my LR 11.1 / PS 23.1 / Windows 10. With these export settings, PS launches but doesn't open the exported photo, which resides in the folder "cop(ying)":

But Photo > Edit In > Edit In Photoshop works correctly on a catalog photo that resides in the same folder "cop(ying".

Thank you very much for taking the time to look into this, I really appreciate your consideration.

As you pointed out, "Photo > Edit In > Edit In Photoshop " works as expected (which is why it took me quite some time to figure this out..)

@John R Ellis I hope this doesn't bother you, but could you please confirm this other issue I have?

I've been using LR since version 4 and for the first time, with this new version, I'm seeing development settings applied whenever I edit an image, although outside LR (i.e. in Photoshop). Many thanks in advance.

Any news on this issue? I updated to the latest version (11.4) but even after six months the problem is still present...
