P: Watermarks rendering darker than preview

Participant ,

The new release seems to have an issue with watermarks.

What looks still okay in the watermark editor (as it did in previous versions) gets messed up during export, with light color watermark turning to grey.

I've updated to 11.5 with the watermark fix but honestly, my white watermark is still not as good as before the previous major update. I'll same there is some improvement, but not the quality I had before. Somewhat disappointed.

Lucky you. Not so much for me. It's a little better, but NOT the quality as before the issue started.

Dear All,

For me, the rollback to the previous version worked really well.

I hope the next fix will solve this issue. Until that, I will use the older LR version.

Hello Rikk, thank you for your post.

Do you know with which update the watermark issue should be corrected?
I am still not getting a watermark at all on my exports (Win11/LR Classic 11.5.0.4/PNG Watermark with transparency). According to Creative Cloud Desktop LR Classic was updated 2 days ago and it is on v11.5. Ctrl+Alt+R restarts Creative Cloud Desktop but does not show a new update. I am based in Switerzland - don't konw if this is relevant for roll-out timeline of updates...

Thanks, Dominik.

Updated to 11.5 and bug still NOT fixed, I've tried different exports with different watermarks and none of them worked. I'm wondering when this will be really fixed.

That's weird... did you update and reboot your PC? In my case, I first updated Adobe camera RAW + Adobe Photoshop + Adobe Lightroom, all 3 software, restarted my PC and the problem was solved. Operating system: Windows 10 - 64 bit. // Eso es raro... actualizo y reinicio su PC? En mi caso 1ero actualice Adobe camara RAW + Abobe Photoshop + Adobe Lightroom, los 3 software, reincie mi PC y asunto solucionado. Sistema operativo: Windows 10 - 64 bit.

LR CC PNG Watermark problem.

On PC:

The browns in the PNG file are turning dark blue, and the yellows are turning bright blue.  About 1/4 of the images were exported correctly.

What does not work:

1. Updating and reloading LR

2. Changing PNG file from 8-bit to 32 bit

3. Both PNG and LR Export files are RGB

On MAC:

No problems
