Hi,

Idon't know if you can help me here but I got a strange behavior. I wanted to try out your Android App (Version 9.0.1) created an account and now everytime I load up a picture it shows totally blue. I can edit it and export it then everything is fine. Same if I try to take a screenshot. In the screenshot all fine. I don't know what's happening.

Is it possible that's a feature of the free version?

Can you help? 😊

Thanks.

Mike

Please update to Lightroom Mobile for Android version 9.1.1 as soon as it is available in your App Store (note - it may take a few days to appear).

Thank you for your patience.

The moment I upload a photo and attempt to edit, all photos become brown/blue prior to any editing taking place. I've deleted/reinstalled Lightroom, reset my phone and checked all display settings. Any idea what might be causing this?

Today, the app suddenly stopped launching and Google PlayStore is now telling me that it is not available on your device.

For those who can still launch it, I have seen posts that enabling "Disable HW overlays" from the development options improves the situation, so please try it.

However, this may affect the battery, so it should only be used temporarily.

I am seeing the same "blue" behavior on my pixel 8 pro.  I noted that rotating a photo to landscape in edit mode "fixes" the issue.

I'm having the same issue on my Pixel 8 Pro. Worked last weekend perfectly. Noticed the issue after the December Pixel Drop firmware update.

Hi everyone.

I need some help. I am using Lightroom mobile but all of a sudden from today I see some strange issue. After importing the image , color is getting messed up for all the images.

I take all images from my cell phone. Currently using pixel 8. It was working fine till yesterday.

Also I don't play with settings.

Attaching sample images.

Clicked image

1000008776.jpg

 after importing

1000009803.jpg

one more weird thing is that I tried to take the screenshot from same device, while taking screenshot it shows the correct image. Also same imported image is flickering in between this weird colour and original colour in Lightroom mobile app.

Any suggestions how can I fix this. It's really bothering me.

I went to play store. And I see hundreds of users are reporting this issue. Is this issue under observation from Adobe side?

Is there any update on this bug. Or Adobe has decided to ignore this.

If yes, let us know. I will be happy to cancel my subscription, instead having this frustration.

Can confirm that turning on 'Disable HW Overlays' is a workaround. You can find it in Developer Options.

After update to the newest Android 14 (AP11.231117.006). Behavior still there and yes the workaround works but it isn't the solution... Hope they fix it in Lightroom soon.

Yes, THIS! I have a Pixel 8 Pro and after the update the same thing is happening to me. Also the same when taking a screenshot to try and demonstrate the issue. I'm happy to see that someone else is experiencing this in hopes of a corrective update.

On the pixel 8 pro when I load a photo it's all blue or negative colors. When I screenshot the image  or export it looks fine though. It just makes it impossible to edit. Any help?

Guys, fix this asap, real people are paying real money. The app doesn't work, buy a pixel for the devs and let them test properly.

Dame problem. Lightroom mobile does not allow the correct display of the photo. Could it be due to a bug in the latest update of the Pixel 8 Pro December dropfeature. The problem appeared after installing it.

It works. Disables the hardware overlay must be activated. But you have to activate the developers option on Android. That shouldn't be a final solution. Although at the moment it makes lightroom mobile work on my Google Pixel 8Pro. It is an Android bug because it has happened to all of us when updating to the last update in December. Those who experienced this problem in November were because they had the beta of the latest Android update that was released via OTA on December 5.
