P: Auto masks not working when accessing shared Lightroom photos via browser

1. Edited on app version v71

2. iPad Pro M1 - iOS 15.1

3. I edited photos through the iPad app & utilized subject detection & color range based masks. They appeared fine when accessed through the iPad app & I am able to render them properly through the app. However, once I share the album of photos through Lightroom & access the shared album utilizing the generated link, the edits get messed up where the masks described above are utilized.

4. I expect the masks from Lightroom to be properly applied when accessing shared albums via the browser. They do not appear to be applied. (see example photos of in Lightroom app and in browser attached)

Note - I have tried accessing via browser on safari & chrome on multiple iPhones, an M1 iPad, & a MacBook Pro with a discrete graphics card to no avail.

On the device which performs the edits, what is its current sync status [Cloud Icon].  A screenshot showing the sync dialog would be great if you can provide it.

Additionally, is it possible for you to share with us a URL for one of the affected shared albums for our engineers to review?

Hi Rikk,

Please find the screenshot attached (the sync appears complete). Here is an example link: https://adobe.ly/3GGsiJb

Thank you.

The team has requested more information:

  1.  Does the image look different in Lightroom Web from your personal album view to a shared album view (you may have to log in with an incognito browser to properly view the shared album)
  2.  If you perform an edit in Lightroom Web to the image (Exposure +.01 or similar) does the image re-render properly?

1. No, it looks the same either way & when I check via the browser on others' devices.

2. The image re-renders with the increased exposure, but the issue persists.
