354GB available of 750GB hard drive
2.7GHz Intel Core i7 processor with 4GB RAM (1333Mhz DDR3)

Lightroom CC requirements, as far as I know:
Intel® or AMD processor with 64-bit support
4 GB of RAM (8 GB recommended)
1 GB of Video RAM (VRAM)
10 GB of available hard-disk space

...just realized... using AMD Radeon HD 6630M 256MB graphics

Thanks. That is  up to date.

Try this.

Uninstall Lightroom via the Creative Cloud App.
Restart your computer.
Use the Creative Cloud App to reinstall.

What version is installed now? (2.4.1) is current.

Go to Help>System Info... and verify you have installed version 3.1 (Current). Then restart your computer.  Launch Lightroom again. Do you still see this message?
