Where is the "Enter Custom..." option from the old Lightroom and how do we get it back (see attachments)? I like to make my photos 1080x1080 for Instagram and was able to do this in the LR Classic version.

I just wanted to open a request for a crop ratio fitting the A-Standard paper side ratio (which is 1:sqrt(2)) for printing with desktop printers, but this seems even more useful and should definitively be possible.
Please add a custom crop ratio feature. I shoot for several businesses who use specific ratios for their online catalogues, based on the type of product they sell. One clothes provider uses a crop of 7*16, and I'm currently forced to split my editing between 2 platforms (classic on desktop and lightroom on Tablet) because this is missing. This failure to include such a basic feature means my own product turnaround time is longer and I cannot deliver the images without having to go to the office to complete my edits.
Just bought a one-year license for CC but will likely return and try Exposure X5. Perpetual license for the price of one year of Lightroom. And guess what, Exposure X5 has a custom crop feature. Given that this thread is two years old it's obvious it's not a prioritized request and so it'd be wishful thinking that the feature would suddenly be added.
Finally voted with my feet and cancelled my Creative Cloud subscription over this issue. It's bizarre that it remains unresolved - but hoping the others like me who are cancelling their subscriptions over this chime in here so Adobe knows it's a revenue issue. It can't take too many of us cancelling $600 / yr. subscriptions for the company to take notice, surely...
I understand that this still hasn't been fixed and I haven't been able to find any information from Adobe regarding this. There isn't a way for me to use Lightroom and be able to export a 5x3 ratio or anything custom. There is a custom option, but all it does is let you drag around and not actually type in a custom ratio. It's been several years of this and I'm about done with this workflow. Is Adobe still involved in Lightroom, or is it no longer supported?
It is lack of such an essential feature, just because of users so soft like you guys, if I'm Adobe I don't care either, the most you can do is to put such a cautiously question here, so wait for 10 yrs bro, like this is some company paying you monthly
I'm not sure what you are saying. You might rewrite this. I can't tell if you think this is a good idea, if you are for Adobe, against Adobe, Adobe is paying me?
Adam adobe definitely is still involved. Only been using for a few years but from what I can gather Lightroom is their baby, I felt like they wanted to phase out lightroom classic. Though Classic has many more features which is confusing.
It just doesn't seem like they are involved is the issue. I thought that this Lightroom would take over as well, but then it just seems like everything stopped. I've wondered if their Lightroom team has been more recently tasked with Photoshop for iPad. It still lacks features and I'm sure that is what they are really looking into as of right now. Lighroom works and they are okay with that until their other things that are not finished are done. Lightroom has been lacking this simple feature for over three years now, and that's the issue. It's something that should have been included from the launch. I love the cloud-based things Adobe has been working on recently. I was a sceptic at first, but this working from home that I've been doing has really put the cloud-based to good use with my team.
Oh and a custom aspect ratio would be heavily required in Lightroom for iPad too. The app is awesome but it is crap that I cannot set custom ratios by entering exact numbers.
Little things matter and it is infuriating that this functionality does not exist years after the original poster started this thread. Implementing this is a couple hours of work for any software engineer worth their weight. There is clearly demand so the only excuse for this to not exist is total indifference for the paying users.
I am using Lightroom and I would appreciate a function for cropping multiple pictures in the exact ratio that i need, I think it would be called user defined aspect ratio. So just add one button that lets me enter my ratio and then let me adjust multiple pictures with that button. Thanks!
Officially ended my adobe subscription. If Adobe ignores user requests after years of asking for the integration of a basic feature, I see no problem acquiring and using their old products without the processor-sucking Creative Cloud looming over us all. $0 more of my dollars will flow to Adobe until this one feature is fixed.
This is alarming! I just signed up for Adobe Creative Cloud today and am editing my first picture with Lightroom CC and want to export an 11x14 size and am unable to select an 11x14 size. So I google how to do it and come across this page which indicates this basic feature has been requested for over 2 years and is still not available.
My current work around is to have your album sync to Lightroom classic and change it there. It’s a crazy simple thing that should have been included by now, but unfortunately I do not believe Adobe actually monitors these requests anymore. Hopefully I am wrong, but it sure seems like they don’t.
The request is 6 years old. Read my post above. *facepalm* I lost hope a few years ago. My workaround is to crop one picture in Lightroom classic and on the ipad I paste only the crop settings.
