I do NOT follow the prescribed order from Adobe:

Edit -> Light, Color....

My normal flow is to eliminate distractions first. So I

1. Crop/Rotate.

2. Enable Camera Optics

3. Geometry

4. Then start the Adobe flow of "Edit (global) > Light, Color.....

It would be nice if we can change the order of the icons/panels to match how we think.

In both Lightroom desktop and Lightroom Mobile, I would like the ability to rearrange the edit tool panels to suit my workflow.  I'm constantly having to scroll down and back up, then down, then back up, etc.

It would also be nice to split out some of the individual tools from some panels.

My workflow when editing:

  1. start with Detail for noise reduction, sharpening
  2. go to Optics for chromatic aberration, lens corrections, and defringing
  3. up to Profiles to set the color profile
  4. down to Color to set the white balance
  5. up to Light for tone adjustments
  6. down to Effects for texture, clarity, and dehaze
  7. back to Color for vibrance and saturation
  8. back to Light for tone curve
  9. then back to Color for color mixing, grading, and once I understand it better, point color

Usually I'll do local adjustments with masks, and healing after all this

@Rikk Flohr: Photography just curious, but why was MacOS removed as a topic?  I mentioned this idea would be good for both desktop and mobile.  I'm new here and don't know the intricacies for posting Ideas, so want to learn.
