P: Photoshop (Beta 26.8) does not save file if Camera Raw plugin is on Smart object

Photoshop version: 26.8.0 release
OS and version: Windows 10 Pro

Step 1 create or open a psd/tif/psb file
Step 2 use Camera Raw (version 17.3.2227) on Smart Object (Embedded or Linked)
Step 3 save file > Could not save "file-name.psd" because of a program error

Info: Even after intentionally crashing Photoshop, used file isn't restored.

Expected result: Photoshop should save file
Actual result: Photoshop does not save file

Adobe Photoshop Version: 26.8.0 20250528.m.3090 a82ee58 x64

AFTER the Beta update May 39 at 5.54

@LBalsam and @omanuyoto71120780 please share your sysinfo so the team can try to see why this is not working for your systems yet is for others.

Launch Photoshop beta, and select Help >System Info...and copy/paste the text in a reply.
