(Sorry if this has been asked before.)

With the latest Photoshop beta update, it crashes on launch.

I have uninstalled the Photoshop beta, uninstalled and reinstalled CC, restarted, unchecked GPU composting in the non-beta version., and reinstalled Photoshop beta, it still crashes on launch (the icon in the dock bounces once and stops without launching).

I have been using Photoshop beta since it was available, even though there is a warning that my (older) OS may cause issues.

I on a team (Enterprise) version of CC.

Today's (5/20) Photoshop Beta distribution, 25.10 20240519.m.2625, should fix startup issues for you, as we have restored the ability to run Photoshop on macOS 11 (Big Sur) equipped Macs, as well as non-AVX2-equipped hardware.

If you still have any issues starting Photoshop once you've installed today's Beta, please let us know more detail about your computer system.

@jjarango your solution worked perfectly:

I was able to solve the problem (Photoshop Beta 25.9 working with the Nik Collection) in the following way:

1. Uninstall the version of Photoshop Beta that won't start.
2. Install a previous version that does work.
3. With the control panel uninstall the Nik Collection.
4. Install the latest version of PS Beta (25.9).
5. Download the latest version of the Nik Collection from the DXO website and install it, after having installed PS Beta 25.9 and checked that it loads correctly!

This way Photoshop Beta starts without problems and I can use the Nik Collection.

No NIK or other plugins - 25.9 errors on start on Win 10. Previous versions have worked. Main Ps works fine.

Uninstalled the beta, rebooted, reinstalled, same problem. Won't start with shift either. Relatively old PC (eg no TPM chip, don't have AVX2). Relatively new NVIDIA GTX 1050 Ti. Wondering if my hardware isn't capable of supporting the beta?

Thanks Cory, appreciated. Might be slightly at cross purposes. Creative Cloud (CC) is happily updating all the Adobe apps, it's the update of the CC app itself that's failing. It failed a few weeks ago and the problem is repeatable. Update starts but fails with Error Code 507 (inaccessible folder) but nothing has changed on this box and I've checked the folder properties. Same drive (C:) where all apps are loaded and PS etc are updating fine. CC is located in folder C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Creative Cloud\ACC What can I do next? Can't really give you any more info.
