I have the same problem, I updated to version 25.9 and everything worked fine the other day, but it doesn't work anymore...it doesn't make sense.

Sorry to say, but 25.9 is a ßeta version. Which means when you use it, you're a beta-tester.
We don't pay for the beta's, we pay for the released version, which is still 25.7. Hope you installed both.
I'm sure the developpers are looking into the problem we all stated and it will be solved before it is officially released.

I too have deinstalled, restarted the pc to be sure to be rid of remaining parts in memory,  re-installed it. No solution so far.
Some have it on I5 processors, some on I7 (like me). I feel this is not the culprit. It might be the GPU or even the Windows version.

If this happens in the released version, I won't be happy and be sure I will show.  But this is a ßeta.
For the moment, try to install the former ßeta-version 25.8, which works for me, same as 25.7 the official released one.

You are right, but if the app is not even running, its not a beta - it's NOTHING. And so there is nothing to test.
No, we don't pay for a beta, but I paid with unsuccessful hours of my precious time, with trying to make it work.
And Adobe has no solution in more than one week 😞

Nothing has changed with today's update. But then I don't understand one thing: they make the beta version to get feedback on how the improvements work and they seem to get annoyed if someone points out that the updates don't work.

After today's update, Beta 25.9 still works fine on my second PC, where 25.9 was my first Beta (parameters: i5 Gen 7, NVIDIA GeForce GT 630, Windows 10).

I'll check later to see if I still get the error message on my first PC, where 25.9 was one of the next ones Beta releases on this PC.

Hace dias instale photoshop Beta 25.9 funcionaba perfecto hasta que se actualizo, luego de ese proceso al actualizar la version de photoshop beta 25.9 el programa no se abre "La aplicacion no se abre correctamente (0xc0000142) Haga clic en aceptar para cerrarla", alguien que pueda solucionarlo por favor, gracias.

do you have plugins on those pc's ?  On the one that is working ?

I'm using Topaz plugins. And on their forum, there a mension of ß25.9 having problems with the plugins. But not just their plugins, but any.

Se não pode ajudar, não tente atrapalhar. Somos TEstadores betas estamos pegando pelo desenvolvimento do programa, e sim temos dirieto e obrigação de reportar problemas para o lançamento oficial.Se não pode ajudar, apenas siga em frente.
