Could Not Complete Request because LoadDeepFontCache in GetDeepFontCache Failed

When I launch photoshop and try to use the type tool I get the following error.

"Could Not Complete Request because Load Deep Font Cache in Get Deep Font Cache Failed"

I have tried deleting CT Font Cache and Font Feature Cache numerous times. I have also tried uninstalling and reinstalling photoshop. I noticed in creative cloud that one font failed to load so I deleted it completely and still no luck. I am also trying to chat with live support but they don't answer.

Any help is appreciated!

I've tried this several times and nothing seems to work. I've unistalled it numerous times and all that keeps happening is that same error and my tool icons are missing

@MVGMarketing unisntalling wont remove caches. Are you getting the same error message as the OP?

Had to have remote work done by adobe but what he did was unistall evrything adobe made sure there wasn't any other setting files and reinstalled all of it.

Hello there! I've had this problem before a couple times, but usually I managed to fix it by either restarting PS or rebooting my laptop. This time I don't know what to do anymore. Every time I try to change a font, i get this error

Could not complete your request because LoadDeepFontCache in GetDeepFontCache failed.

I tried a couple other fixes that were suggested here before like manually re-setting preferences, deleting the Folders CT Font Cache and FontFeatureCache. I even deleted and re-installed Photoshop. Nothing helped.

Recently, it also occasionally happens that my Adjustment Panel is empty after restarting, or the tools like brushes and erasers ect. are shown without an icon.

Estou com este erro ao tentar selecionar uma fonte. Alguém sabe o que pode ser? Já reinstalei o programa, tentei utilizar outra versão, porém não foi resolvido. Estou atualmente utilizando a versão 25.6.

I think I found a fix. I ended up uninstalling Photoshop (The newest version), and now it seems to be working. Try it and see if it works for you. I think it's something to do with the cache. I also clicked on the a box that said somthing like "delete all preferences" to make sure that other files that were making the glitch would be deleted.

Has anyone been able to fix this beyond these options?

Have uninstalled all installed fonts

Ran Photoshop font test script

Cleared PS font cache and Windows font cache

Using the Glyph panel is the only work around for changing fonts.

I was able to identify it is a system wide issue with Version 25.5. Rolled back to 25.4 and we are back in business.

THe newest version is 25.7. I unistalled it and re-installed it again and it worked for me that time. Then after a while, I guess I restarted and used Photoshop for a while, it happened again. I am going to revert back to version 25.6 or even a version before that until everything is fixed. There are way too many bugs. It's keeping me from working smoothly...

I tried 25.6 but it didn't work for me. 24.7.3, however, does. I guess I'll stay with this version for a while and hope the issue will be fixed before I update again.

Just experienced this with version 25.7, tried latest 25.9 that still had the issue. Rolled back to 25.4 and that does work correctly.

It's been over two years now since this issue was first posted, and I'm still getting the same issue, as posted. Has anyone found a workaround? I've deleted the directories in my AppData, restarted Photoshop & Adobe Creative Cloud, rebooted Windows 10 Build 19045.4598, uninstalled/reinstalled, downgraded to a previous version, removed all installed fonts in the Adobe Fonts tab in Adobe CC, etc.

This is getting ridiculous. Seems like Adobe stopped caring about their customers once they transitioned to a subscription- based model. I guess the only thing I haven't tried yet, is cancelling my subscription and finding a better alternative.

Just ran the Adobe Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool, that hasnt cured the issue. Some official guidance from Adobe on this would be nice, are they aware of this issue?

ERROR Could not complete your request because LoadDeepFont Cache in GetDeepFontCache
Got this error coming back everytime I try changing fonts... The error doesnt appear when I use the type tool with the default font, Only hen trying to change the fonts.

But still happening.
Tried reinstalling , worked for one time for 3 minutes and than happened again.
Tried downgrade my photoshop to an older version, worked for 1 hour and then got that error back..
Anyone knows what makes this error happen? The fixes doesnt work for me anymore so im trying to find the reason why its happening so i could try to prevent it.
