Could Not Complete Request because LoadDeepFontCache in GetDeepFontCache Failed

When I launch photoshop and try to use the type tool I get the following error.

"Could Not Complete Request because Load Deep Font Cache in Get Deep Font Cache Failed"

I have tried deleting  CT Font Cache and Font Feature Cache numerous times. I have also tried uninstalling and reinstalling photoshop. I noticed in creative cloud that one font failed to load so I deleted it completely and still no luck. I am also trying to chat with live support but they don't answer.

Any help is appreciated!

@mrmixit_hotmail  Yes I had that happen as well at one stage. Think I just uninstalled and installed older version to fix, as stated above by Tjeer66 the Beta version 26 seems to work OK for text. I wonder if they have fixed something in the Beta or its just the creatiion of new/differant cache folders that fixing it.

This worked for me with this issue... Finally.  Now if I can get my floating toolbar to show the icons in the box I'll be back to normal.

Does anyone get this message whenever trying to change the font? I deleted the font cache. Reinstall Photoshop, nothing seems to fix it except going back to version 24. I just updated to 26 hoping that it got fixed but i was wrong. And my tool icons are missing as well.

Não tenho certeza se é definitivo, mas o que resolveu comigo foi desisntalar o adobe creative cloud e apagar todos os dados da adobe do computador, temp, %temp%, appdata, arquivos e programas... e depois instalar novamente.

Still no real fix to this problem after all the comments but it is marked as solved? Clearly adobe does not care about its users. I hate that I have to find a new software to use as I have been a loyal adobe user for many years. But it is extremely too expensive anyway. These continuous problems with the new versions are destroying my business. Have to find a new solution today.

I got a hold of the service and remedy this problem for me...
Can't remember but they had me go into a folder on the computer and delete
I think.
You should call them.

I gave up. Adobe doesn't seem to be able to fix this bug. I found the following solution for myself: I select the font via the Glyphs dialog. Select the Glyphs panel for selecting the font - and then let's hope and pray that Adobe fixes this annoying bug.

@AnnexSoftworks I whole heartedly agree with you. This issue has slowed my workflow considerably. I am looking more closely at Canva.

Issue still persists with latest version, as per ~Eddy~ post can change it via glyphs panel.

Now getting annoying pop ups from Adobe to upgrade to latest version! If you fix it Ill use the damn thing!

Hola! tengo el mismo problema, borrando las carpetas FontFeatureCache y  CT Font Cache el problema parece solucionarse. Pero una vez que se vuelve a abrir el problema regresa. Alguien ha podido solucionarlo definitivamente?

I got the same error repeatedly, and could not fix it. I tried deleting the cache folders as suggested in the forums. (Failed) I tried uninstalling all Adobe products and reinstalling then. (Failed). I tried restarting Windows and keeping apps. (Failed).

Only two solutions helped:

1. Revert to old versions of Photoshop. I had to go back 6 or 7 versions to 2022 or 23.

Or

2. I backed up all my fonts, then downloaded new windows installation files and reinstalled the OS. Then I installed the latest version of Photoshop, then reinstalled the fonts 100 at a time, testing several in PS each batch. They all installed and the error has not come back for 2 weeks.

All the best.

Same here, tried everything mentioned on this thread, only a clean install of Windows (and upgrade to 11) seems to have fixed it for me........so far..

Not getting too excited though, will wait until the next photoshop update, see if that breaks it again.

¡Sí, lo hice!
Lo que funcionó para mí fue desinstalar Photoshop y Creative Cloud,
eliminar todos los datos de Adobe en la computadora y luego instalarlos
nuevamente.

Same here. Toolbars gone, fonts don't work anymore and going back to version 25.4 fixed it so it's really a Photoshop Issue and I'm not going to reset my whole system for only one bugged program.
