After updating to PS 25.6.0, the presets for saving PDFs are gone. Is this a known bug? How can I get them back?

Adobe has released Photoshop 25.7, which contains a fix for this issue. Please install the update from your Creative Cloud App.

If you do not see the update in your Creative Cloud Application, you can refresh it by hitting [Ctrl/Cmd]+[Alt/Opt]+[ R ].

If you continue to see the problem after updating Photoshop, please respond in this thread.

Thank you for your patience.

Thank you so much for this. I was really upset when I finally decided to upgrade my MacOS to the latest and discovered that my PDFs no longer had the high quality print presets. This saved me so much grief of thinking about reverting my entire system back to Big Sur just to get my presets back lol.

Hi all, I have Adobe Photoshop 2024 25.6.0 release. Adobe PDF Presets is grayed out and I cannot save a file in "High Quality Print". Attached is a screenshot to show how it looks like. For now, I downloaded PS 2023 back to my computer so I've been using it but I would like to move back to 2024 as it has some features that I am missing on PS 2023 (E.g. Generative fill).

What would you advice?

This was the easiest way and it worked!

I copy and pasted Library/Application Support/Adobe/Adobe PDF/Settings into spotlight. After clicking load in Photoshop, I dragged the file over from my finder window.

I had to load them one at a time, but no biggie. Thank you!

Yes, this was my situation =/ I needed to install the previous version, copy the PDF, and then update it to the latest version. Very annoying.

@gener7 Thank you! This has plaqued me for weeks and your solution fixed it. I'm surprised they haven't addressed such a major issue.
