19.1.1 Camera Raw incompatible

So updated from 18 back to 19.1.1 after hearing the pen tool crash was fixed.  Now the camera raw filter doesn't work.  Says incompatible with this version of Photoshop?  Is an update for that pending or have I missed something?

Seriously fed up of switching versions right now, one thing fixed, another problem introduced.  CC is turning into a disaster right now

Adobe just released a 10.2.1 camera raw for windows to fix this bug.

You can get the 10.2.1 camera raw installer from here:

Works perfectly. I don't think too many people can complain when a bug is fixed in 40 hours. Well done Tom Knoll, Eric Chan et al

I experienced this error while trying to apply ACR on a JPG file while it was open. When I tried to open a RAW file PS was unresponsive. Very worrying! Restarted PS once and all is ok for now...

PS 19.1.1

ACR 10.2.0.894

Yes, this works. But hours of wasted time because of a bad update ... :-(

Hey guys
I actually updated ACR before updating PS and had no issues while using PS 19.1.0 and ACR 10.2
I am currently updating PS and I'll let you know what happens

Edit:

I still have no issues.
All updated and running normal. I tried JPEG RAW TIFF from Bridge and from inside PS and can't seem to reproduce the problem.
System here is Windows7 64 Monitor is a 37inch 4K at native resolution.

My work around to keep working after wasting couple of hours.

I kept Photoshop version 19.1.1 (after rolling back to 19, which still didn't work  & I lost my actions, workspace etc, its all Camera Raw)

So I rolled back Camera Raw to Version 10.1 at      Camera Raw plug-in installer

And I'm back at work - I know its a PITA but hope it this helps.

Go to edit> preferences

Move down to the JPEG and TIFF Handling Panel and set it to ..."open all supported", as seen below.

Best of luck, everyone!

UPDATE:

Adobe has added the ACR 10.1 installers back to the ACR download page:

Camera Raw plug-in installer

If you wish to temporarily roll back to ACR 10.1, rather than use a workaround, you can at the above link

PS 19.1.1 and CamRaw 10.2 incompatible for jpegs.
But when I open a NEF file, I can use camera raw aas usual
and after that also load a jpeg file and continua using camera raw correctly
Just for one session. Think the problem occured after the last Windows update:
2018-02 version 1709 (KB4074588) succesfully installed on 2/14/2018

Windows Update shows my system is up to date.  Photoshop CC 2018 is at version 19.1.1,  ACR is version 10.2.  If I set ACR preference to Open jpeg files. When I use CC 2018 menu file>open select a jpg file ACR 10.2 open on my 4k display without a problem. I can use it windowed or full display to open jpeg files and also use it as a Photoshop filter on my 4k display. My CR2 file also no problems. My Windows Display setting scale my 4k 175% which would make its 3840x2160 pixel display like a display  with 2194x1234px. I believe others do have problems but I do not know where the problem is.

#MeToo

This is crazy . (Yes, I need to vent...)

1. Windows 7, 64 bit, this morning ran CC updates and yes, same problem as others.

2. I can report that changing screen resolution manually to 1080p (wow that looks bad) then the Camera Raw filter functions as it has in the past. Otherwise, with my 27" set to native resolution (4K), I receive the same error message as others have reported.

Best wishes for a quick fix @TeamAdobe
