Hi everyone!
I wanted to share a quick and easy trick I’ve been using in Photoshop to remove backgrounds from images, especially when you want to keep fine details like hair or fur.
- Open the image in Photoshop.
- Go to Select > Select and Mask.
- Use the Quick Selection Tool to roughly select the object you want to keep.
- In the "Select and Mask" workspace, adjust the Edge Detection and use the Refine Edge Brush to clean up tricky areas (like hair).
- Once you’re happy with the selection, choose Output to: Layer Mask and hit OK.
This method works great when you need to remove complex backgrounds but don’t want to lose important details. I hope this helps someone out!
Feel free to share any other tips or tricks you use for background removal!
