Hi everyone!

I wanted to share a quick and easy trick I’ve been using in Photoshop to remove backgrounds from images, especially when you want to keep fine details like hair or fur.

  1. Open the image in Photoshop.
  2. Go to Select > Select and Mask.
  3. Use the Quick Selection Tool to roughly select the object you want to keep.
  4. In the "Select and Mask" workspace, adjust the Edge Detection and use the Refine Edge Brush to clean up tricky areas (like hair).
  5. Once you’re happy with the selection, choose Output to: Layer Mask and hit OK.

This method works great when you need to remove complex backgrounds but don’t want to lose important details. I hope this helps someone out!

Feel free to share any other tips or tricks you use for background removal!
